  1. I built a rock mine door today and unchecked the "Everyone in your village..." option. After that I no longer had access to the door and was unable to manage door settings. (Fortunately I allowed access for one of my my alts earlier, so I was able to change settings with that other character.) Also, the management window showed different information for different users (options were checked for one user, unchecked for others).
  2. My shield skills won't raise and my shields are not being used. The character name is Adje and I'm on Independence. I've been playing for quite a while, about 5 years (I think) and I have never ever gotten any use out of a shield. I tried all general fixes such as shield bashing over and over (which I did for a very long time and still no skillgain however I could bash) I never parry with a shield equipped or anything. This problem has never been submitted because I didn't feel the need to. I contacted GM's ingame and they told me to go here. Thank you in advance, Zealord (Adje)
  3. Part of the texture for Walnut trees looks upside down, or is missing something. Hard to describe so I've attached a screenshot. These are young trees, though I imagine the appearance is the same at whatever age. Winter season (in case you can't tell lol).
  4. Ok so tonight I was out and seen a greenish bear. I have 85 ql gold chain armour and a plate great helm. I had a 70-80 ql large maul and my fighting skill is 70. I decided to kill the greenish bear and I was hitting it and got it to dying and it never hit me once. Then all of a sudden it 1 hitted me and I died lol. I was fighting next to a troll mound that spits out hardened trolls so when I got a ride to my body I told my friend a troll may have done it. When we got there I was expecting a dying greenish bear or a dead greenish bear and possibly a hardened troll. When I got there, there was no bear in sight and no troll in sight. When I got my body I looked around for a bit and there wasn't even a greenish bear or body in sight. I am thinking it may be an armour bug or a bear bug I don't know lol but I do know they cant take someone out that quickly with that good of armour on. Also my friend told me I should look at the combat log I looked and I didn't see where I was even fighting the bear. So I'm thinking it was a Wurm ghost bear hehe. Thanks
  5. Hi there, I don't know if anyone else has ever tried... But I made a gold chain barding to put on my horse hoping i would have gold armor..... Little to find out there isn't a model what so ever for it. It appears if the horse is not even wearing armor... Will there be a gold chain texture soon? There is for Gold Chain Armor...but no Barding? Anyone else know?

Some of the textures (house walls especially) have lots of thin black vertical lines running through them that dance back and forth the whole time I'm playing and it takes forever to walk anywhere because I get horrible lag when I try to turn right or left. Otherwise the things I've tried seem to be working.
  7. I think this one belongs over here as it is a game mechanics problem, not a client glitch. In a nut shell, if you cut down a shriveled, you get the falling tree sound and your scrape or part log. Then when you try to walk forward you bounce off where the tree was located.   8. There is a first time for everything. I hopped an alt off of my cart inside my workshop. I was immediately greeted with the view of falling from a great height, through the roof to the building and a crash landing onto the floor right next to the cart, that injuried me. [23:47:55] You leave the large cart. [23:47:56] Ouch! That hurt! One should not get damaged by 10% from stepping down off of a cart. Respectfully submitted! Cheers! Hughmongus Editted for spelling.
  9. Greetings everyone. So I am trying to download Wurm. I have done this successfully twice before with no problems. However, now when I try to download it it freezes on the file called client/wurmclient.jnlp It's not just downloading slow, because I left it on all night and it was still stuck on the same file. I have windows 7 and the latest Java.
  10. We are able to see the options: botanizing; foraging; grass cutting; but with sickle activated the option to cut off the sprout is not there. It is just a Small bug; but, I thought I should report it. Thanks for the wonderful updates, I look forward to seeing all of them. Or will the sprouts only be able to be gotten through foraging/botanizing now rather then cutting them from the tree directly? I still see a statement on the trees that sprouts are ready to be harvested off of them, so that is why I will assume for now that you need to have this brought to your attention. Thanks. I did find a sprout through the other methods. (*Excited too as I then got to plant my first fir tree... very kewl.) PS: I just noticed also that pruning is not available either... same idea.

  12. Image below shows everything. Relogging several times didn't help. I was playing like always, quit game for an hour, when I was back all that appeared. Seems like items are equipped (while fighting against monsters I can hear shield blocking and sword swinging), just can't see and reach them. backpack on the torso, toolbelt on legs. Out of reach. Any ideas how to solve it?
  13. One more deed is recently destroyed by meteor. It became the next one in the number of many others. It's very rare event when meteor falls not within someone's deed. Damages from these "events" are totally deadly for deeds. Many deeds are destroyed by this bug, which always hit deeds on MRH. Some ppl quit the game because this. Deeds occupies not much land on server but meteors always hit them. This is really very strange random. Pls. Make something finally to fix it. Change meteors to make damages to buildings but not so total damages. Make them really random place to fall to.
  14. I hve a few deeds that I do not visit regularly. Still they have sufficient upkeep left (for more than 2 months) and I make sure that the mayor is online from time to time (at least once a month). So, those are my "passive deeds". On various occasions I noticed that some of the fences or stone walls on these deeds got severely damaged or even disappeared completely. That effect seemed random, as neighbouring fence segments were completely intact. Is this a bug? Will fences decay rapidly on a random basis? Or do roaming trolls bash fences from the outside at random?

  16. There seems to be a problem with KoS management in allied villages. This is how it probably is supposed to work for a single village: When a mayor puts someone on the KoS list that player will get a warning as soon as he logs in. During this time that particular KoS is "inactive" and any attempt to put him on KoS again will lead to the message: "... is already put up on the kos list, pending activation.". (The list itself is empty at this time.) After the person logs in and gets the warning, KoS will be active and he appears on the list. Also, you'll see the message "... will now be killed on sight." in Settlement History. Spirit templars will now attack him. While this is a reasonable mechanism, Wurm currently seems to consider all villages of an alliance to be ONE village, as far as KoS is concerned (although KoS is NOT automatically effective for all villages in the alliance). That is why no mayor in the alliance can put a player on KoS as long as any other village still has him on "pending". In addition, the "pending activation" obviously des NOT queue, i.e. even if several mayors set him to KoS, he will not automatically appear on all of the KoS lists after he logs in. He will only appear on the KoS list of the first village entering him when he was offline. So, in order to get him KoS'ed in other villages of the alliance, mayors have to to it one after the other! This is probably not intended.
  17. Was in a cave and was dragging a cart. The cart dissappeared and i could not select it. Still under the effects of the slowing of the cart and could hear it following me. Reappeared when exiting the cave and was still there on reentry.

  21. Yesterday I noticed this. I had put a cart with two horses in a pen with enchanted grass, when I took them out the next morning they were standing on regular grass. I heard some people describing similar. Afaik Horses are only supposed to pack enchanted grass, but there should be no mechanism to turn it back into grass at all. There was a bug like that a while ago that destroyed about half the enchanted grass on the server, so I'm afraid something similar is happening again, even though at a slower speed. There are also a lot of people reporting that they feel enchanted grass gets packed too fast. That might actually not be the case, but instead the grass looses the enchanted due to the bug and then gets packed before people notice.

  24. When replanting/harvesting my field i noticed that i couldnt get a harvest action to queue after a sow action. To reproduce have a dirt tile + a ripe farm tile (in my case wemp) next to it. and some wemp seeds in inventory. Rightclick the dirt tile and sow the wempseed, while the action timer is going rightclick the wemp tile and click harvest. [07:45:29] After sowing you will start harvesting. [07:45:31] You sow the wemp. It will ignore the harvest command you gave it. EDIT: Tried to queue in a few different orders: Sow - Harvest - Sow (Skips the harvest and just sows twice) Sow - Harvest - Harvest (Skips both harvests)
