I did a search and it didn't pop up so I figured I'd make a thread for it. Outerra is a 3D planetary engine for seamless planet rendering from space down to the surface. Can use arbitrary resolution of elevation data, refining it to centimeter resolution using fractal algorithms. What that means in human terms? It renders the entire planets terrain and you can do stuff on it. You can fly off the earth and view it from space. It lets you alter the terrain, has physics and supports stuff like vehicles with suspension mechanics. Where am I going with this? Take whatever means necessary to get in the mood and brace yourself for imagining Wurm on a truely global scale Ever wanted to take a 6 month voyage to wherever in your rowboat? Now you can! Be part of the Wurmal Space Project, build a rocket and blast off into space to go fight the gods on their own turf. Deed your own country (the costs o.O) and rule as a tyrant or be the first hermit to settle on Mt. Everest. The possibilities are endless Rolf, make it happen pls :3 All joking aside, the engine is pretty cool, it has integrated Google Maps so navigating to your own home becomes relatively easy, except where I live is underwater There's a free demo available on their forums which I've linked below and you can really get some nice vistas from it. It's far from finished so I wouldn't recommend buying it unless it really interests you or you want to support the devs. http://www.outerra.com/ http://forum.outerra.com/index.php?topic=637.0

I know many of us use DeedPlanner quite a bit when planning our buildings or deed locations, and many of those creation ideas are quite inspirational. This thread exists for people to post and link their DeedPlanner designs and creations. Anything ranging from an actual plan for a deed, to a map of an already built deed, to a landscape produced purely from your imagination! DeedPlanner is a very useful 3D tool and I encourage all who use it to post your designs and ideas here! I'll kick it off with one of my own designs that I had entered into a contest... http://pastebin.com/ZSPac4Sf
