  1. The core of the game needs work.
  2. Not going to have that conversation again, you guys just need to look up how anvils are used.
  3. What? I was in beta for this title, it handled and STILL handles more users per battle then any other game. The only limitation was a users machine.

  5. No, just hopefully the first concrete details.
  6. Played for 5 years, best PvP game ever.
  7. http://www.planetside2.com/ So pumped!
  8. Basically what I am looking at doing Othob Rithol. Just takes time to do all this stuff, so we released the tutorial in stages.
  9. We did not want to remove the tool belt as an item, however we did want to ease people into the game. Decisions do not need to be draconian. Its a two slot belt they will eventually outgrow. Working on that. Problem is, fail rates are highly punitive, if not down right mean ( Need a hammer to finish a hammer ). That is no way to greet someone.
  10. No, thats not even what I mean. Twisting my words does not endear me to a conversation. It also has no bearing on the survival of the new user, it has everything to do with removal of frustration and lowering the barrier to entry, coupled with becoming more contemporary. They should be, now I need to check on that.
  11. Disagree completely. Hot bars are a must in any game. When we added the two slot ( Starter belt BTW ) we increased the range of belts per QL. Point being, high QL tool belts are still useful and wanted. However not giving a new player a critical UI element is folly. I would raise it even more, the current amount is a compromise.
  12. Its was very needed. Toolbelts = Hotbars.
  13. Humm... We have this already set up on GV for the most part.
  14. Its not just me, I work with a bunch of talented people.
