    I would love to see this annual event held on the original Freedom server. 

    Seeing as Festival Cove has now sold, I don't see why nobody has thought of speaking to the new owner and organising the impalong there and preparing to hold it next year. 

     

    Willow may not be doing it, but it'd be nice to have it back where it all started.

    i might be a bit new, but i understand that to say 'chance of creating' not 'ability to create'.

     

    it appears there is a min skill level, but now i wonder what it is.

    59% at my skill level is just to show you how difficult to create it will be, as Shrimpiie said, the item is pretty much useless (least as far as i know) there's no real need to make it :)

    I suggest it is made to say which server you're heading for, every time I travel I check and double check that I'm going the right direction I'm going to make sure I don't go to chaos instead of Deli, meaning I have to moor and unmoor the boat (gets annoying).


     


    Can't see many people being against this seeing as it only benefits us, can't see it affecting your time in wurm in a negative way :)

    Well, Shads has partially right. To cast Dirt I need 20 favor. In success I will create 7 dirt, on fail I will lose 4 favor. What means, to produce large quantity of dirt I will need large quantity of things to sacrifice to produce favor to cast dirt.

    20 fav for 7 dirt?? That seems overpowered NERF NOW ..(sarcasm)

    I'm preparing an area and resources for an impalong, not sure if anyone else is I just figured it would be a fun village thing to do so my town is getting a place and resources ready.

     

    The location is Sutherland shire 27x 32y, Just under Blackdog island for anyone who wants to drop by, I'm not 100% sure on the date but I think it will be running the majority of December. =)

     

    Happy for any help or people to come too, it doesn't have to be the main one for Independence, just one spot for people to drop in and have fun and get items imped. =)

    Why not do it next year. There has already been several impalongs this year across multiple servers, another one is due this winter on Deli (as decided by the vote).

     

    I understand you want to help people on inde and want them to have fun etc, but imo there's too many impalongs this year already.

    Almost all the resources in this game are renewable, the exceptions are items from unique mobs and dirt.  Unique mob items should be unique, but having dirt run out would be a very regrettable thing.  It is used up in mortar and charcoal piles and currently there is no way for more to come into play.

     

    One possible way to create new dirt would be for rock shards to have a small possibility of becoming dirt when they decay completely, this would mirror reality.

    Sand is used in mortar NOT dirt.

    Fo priests can turn items into dirt.

    Why is everyone always too happy to accept just sleep bonus as compensation for these crashes? They are happening way too often imo and we should get more than just some crappy SB

    Facebook??!!!!   WTF??  Is this not the "official" forum?   I hate facebook and see no reason i should be required to go there for news.  

    More then likely a bot... Either that or devs are too ignorant/lazy to quickly log onto IRC and say "we're working on getting inde back up asap"

    I think what annoys me the most is the usual lack of official acknowledgement.  Occasionally Rolf posts after they're back up.  I would really like to see someone official saying something like Yes, the server is down...eta: Who knows but we're aware of it.  Or Yes, the server is down..eta: 5 minutes....eta: Couple hours....eta: It looks serious this time folks, suggest you attend that barbecue after all.  Something, anything.

    after 143 surely you've played wurm long enough to expect anything professional like this from the devs ;)

    I hope there will be nothing like rollback, not even small or partial one.

     

    I turned one boat into rare and friend raised faith to 100.00 and I hope we will not lost <<< this

    I had just finished my new farm and fenced it in... If there's a rollback I'm gonna be annoyed.

    Just saw that and came to post about it here :).

    OS problems eh?....odd. Goes without saying he's probably got a Server OS (there are such things designed so this does not happen, and for speed and simplicity). So yeah weird.

    It's Rolf... planning and him do not go together, nothing goes smoothly with Rolf involved :P
