  2. 40 is stupid hard.. not to be harsh.. in any game its a pain in the butt to get 40 people to do any thing..25-30 is pushing it...The more kingdoms the better.. WAR WAR WAR... smaller kingdoms die..larger kingdoms thrive..Change how the kingdom system works.. start with a "hold" where the leader is a Jarl for..10 people group and as it adds people at 35 it changes in to a kingdom and at 70 an Empire..Wurm does not have 1.5 million players the current system just hurts the game more then anything.. Hold 10+ - Jarl..Village like - 5s start. Stronghold 35+ - King/Queen +15s expand. Empire 70+ - Emperor/Empress + 30s Expand. Total cost 50s. Consider it..
  3. in the 2 years I've been playing i never once had a horse die on me.. Run.. Run.. Run.. choose when to fight and how you will rarely die.. keep your head on a swivel and nothing will sneak up on you..
  4. The stance is wrong as well.. left hand and right elbow are fully extended, left foot points with the bow, right foot with the torso.
  5. well i did take a look at the shaded armor last night. it does look like my immage allready once the shader is on. 3 seconds later my wurm crashed XD
  6. this is not about shaders.. the VBO and GL.. stuff is messed up and causes lag and crashes for ALOT of people. so we cant see the detail even if we wanted
  7. thats the aim Steel around the era was still new. it was not as pure as it is today.. it was dark and crude

Steel is really good armor. a strong man wont be burdened by its weight if he has a decent body stat.. i just wish it was on par texture wise.. nothing against Wox or who ever textured it.. its just to bright.. i got blinded when i loaned my armor to a village member who was training.. it needs more detail outside of rivets and light dust
  9. This idea is simple.. as my screen shot below shows.. i have "Edited" what steel plate could looks like with some minor shadowing and color. giving it a more used look and less of a day glow Do give me some feed back.. shield is iron, but its lighten to resemble steel for image

  11. Holy hell.. i just understood what this chap meant.. Combine the bulk good to make it more manageable per se? so combine 100 arrow heads and 100 shafts? or something
  12. This will ruin Fetching.. if your that worried about making arrows.. Contact me.. i take bulk orders..still -1.000 An arrow is a blade only on a smaller scale.. you gain weapon smiting every 10 or 11 ticks..
  13. -1000 I'm a Fletcher.. don't ruin it by doing this..THIS GAME is not suppose to be easy.. there are other games where you can make "64" arrows in one click.. go play that if you want easy fletching. Have make 3k, arrows this month.. working on another 1500..

  15. IDEA for the map.. Use the paper you can make in game.. add a map making skill..make the map work like a book.. where you have to open it..make maps decay over time as paper can be weak..and give all new players a 10ql map that lasts for 3 days play time..that's the only way i can think of adding maps that wont anger the general population In wurm nothing should be free.
  16. So this idea is kinda nice and i think many people would agree 1. Villages create a profile at the token and toggle a "Fee" if they want to have it show up on the post board at the local starter town. 25-50c a month added to the upkeep. 2 the Board is at all the major spawn towns next to where the new members spawn.. and a prompt pops up suggesting for them to take a look at the board for a village or venture out on there own. ( Some Epic Servers should be excluded. ) 3 This allows New members to easily find a village that suits there play style and.. as it is in game.. it also has a higher chance to be use.. because the new players are more likely to look at something in game, then tab out and spend 20 minutes trying to dig thought new and old village recruitment guides.. 4 it brings a slightly bit more money to the server.. and has a usable function that in the long run will help build the player base more.. Most people who join and quit in the first few days because its hard and they die a lot.. this gives new players a chance to go right in to village life and.. they might stay longer even prem up. * me in example.. ive ben in this village for over a year and i joined my village the date i joined on this avatar.+
  17. Thats a round about way of saying no.. they have there advantages.. but your better of using swords, shields axes...things like that. then agian i killed a cave bug with a sickle so..who knows
  18. I would like to see a change to the storage of fish. Fish at the moment is pretty useless compared to meat, as it cant be stored, cooked or much of any thing else. Idea: give fish the same property of meat. once in a FSB give it a generic item like "Fish 5kg..." just to keep it simple. You should be able to cook fish and store it as well, then Filet them as needed. so Cooked Fish would be 5kg. and it would make 15 Fillets or something like that.

Simple 2 spells first that makes clay tiles in to Gravel for easy removal. second that turns gravel tiles in to clay.. both should cost about 100 - 150 favor. and have a 2 hour recast. more less to remove troublesome clay tiles that are otherwise useless... and to create clay where needed. Extra messure clay more then 10 tiles away from water should be a expendable resource.

    I live Right next to this area, in question and i suffer no lag from kins property other then crossing water. i normally run 25 - 50 FPS..
  21. Iron and steel would be way to heavy for a shaft, they are really dense metals, Tin and silver are lighter but XD they are weak RL so is gold, but that idea would be perfect if your using it for crossbows, or ballistas
  22. its a pain. it took me the later part of a month to do 1400 war arrows... 20 ql. this was before rolf removed the unfinished arrows aswell... 2 days after i finished the project -.- it was updated.. i was so annoyed XD
