This thread is fascinating, but what is going to happen with Chaos, and When?
-
Or it could be linked to prospecting, so when you go over a certain skill level, the info on how many tiles above sea level would show, no need for spells then!
-
Well I suppose there is a risk that could happen. Im just not sure that sending GMs to fix every damaged mine is viable either.
-
They should simply supply shaker orbs for free for a month or something, that would be the quickest fix.
-
Brash_Endeavors, I suggest you post this as separate Suggestion thread, I like my idea, but yours is SO much better

Science, Engineering & Technology Skill Can use a sextant to chart exact longitude & latitude, chart rough "local zone" maps (lower skill = greater inaccuracies or much smaller areas, higher skill = larger areas & greater accuracy) Can make weather predictions using a barometer (higher skill = longer range forecasting, lower skill = more"wrong" forcasts) Can calculate soil depths, water table depths ("makes up some scientific sounding stuff here") Can demolate mine tiles using rare chemicals extracted from .. I dunno, a mixture of both botanizing + prospecting. Lower skill = high fails, partial collapses or injuries within X range Plan bridges & multistory buildings (higher skill can plan larger structures) Kind of a Leonardo Da Vinci meets Archimedes type skillset In fact, if there ever is a "Wurm 2.0", I love to discard "magic" in favor of early "science" and pay homage to famous inventors (even fictional ones) over "deities" +1 THIS

It would be cool to have a spell that could be applied to the Pendulum (as an example) that tells you how many tiles above water you are. This would be particularly useful for mining and tunneling etc.
-
when is that supposed to happen? any ideas?

I wasn't moaning, I'm loving the change, just merely pointing out that you cannot put the picked up bins in a cart
-
Yep, I tried putting an empty FSB in a cart and it wouldn't let me

just to add my two cents here. I have never understood why there are so many restrictions in mailing. What is wrong with being able to mail stuff of a reasonable size around. If you made the system more flexible, people wouldn't to wrap stuff up, or seek bugs to get around the restrictions. My suggestion would be to allow anything to be sent under a certain weight (say 10kg), and remove the charges all together. ....waits to be shot down in flames...

With any change, someone will moan about it. For me, it's an excellent change, if only because you can now go pick up BSBs and FSB on decaying deeds.

"Empty bulk containers are now possible to pick up" Does this apply to BSBs, FSBs & Coffins? -

Today is the day, auction runs out in 10 hours. -
Went over to Chaos the other day, only 11 players. The Landing is deserted. Whats the point?
-
You think? I think Rolf has more important current issues to deal with than Chaos. He already has a council working on it and a set time for when he will fix it. So nearly 2 months on, any news on "when he will fix it" ?
-
Another one with just over a day to go. Offers considered
