  1. You can do this to a point already with a dioptra. Alright you don't get grid references, but it's helpful when moving servers.
  2. Articles and release note log updated per this post. Oven and Cauldron updated http://www.wurmpedia.com/index.php/Oven http://www.wurmpedia.com/index.php/Cauldron Crude axe added http://www.wurmpedia.com/index.php/Crude_axe
  3. Thanks for clearing this up. Just goes to show that personal verification goes a long way to ensure the validity of the Wurmpedia.
  4. Another alternative is 3G, if the signal there is pretty good you could always just sign up for a mifi or something. http://www.three.co.uk/Store/Mobile_Broadband#mifi
  5. Updated: http://www.wurmpedia.com/index.php/Mend
  6. I was being a little sarcastic, but thanks! Will take care of it, but would like to do a full review of the page anyway, so I'll change it to 4 for now.
  7. Looks like someone made an edit which was undone, but not completely. So, how many Gods do we have....
  8. I've updated the dioptra to include a non-announced secondary use. Enjoy.
  9. One thing to remember is that the GMs are volunteers and it could be that Spellcast has specifically booked this day to run the event, be it a day off work or a day away from his family. Also, they take a lot of planning and preparation so once the wheels are in motion it may be a huge effort to change the plans. Official and player-run events are always going to clash, especially if the community are asking for more and more of them in the future. I guess we'll see what Spellcast says, but this is just pure unlucky timing.
  10. I realise that this last piece was in jest, but some newer players may not get your humour. To that end, I present: Help I need Enki
  11. Would you rather they were transparent and discussed ideas like this with us rather than their peers? I for one welcome more input and ideas from developers for us to chip in on, after all, we're the ones who will be clicking the buttons!
  12. I made a promise to myself when I left school and that was to learn something new every day. Browsing LPT and YSK on reddit and searching through random Youtube videos helps me to achieve this. I recommend this to everyone.
  13. https://www.youtube.com/user/destinws2 This guy knows his stuff and makes it nice and simple for people new to science. I'm not a simple person, but sometime watching a TLDR is relaxing.
  14. To add, it would certainly make wandering around the wilderness more interesting. I guess they'd have to be made non-agro?
  15. Am I mistaken in thinking that at one time wolves were often found in packs, or did I just used to be unlucky on GV and run into them as such? Group mobs would be great, similar to raid bosses on other games. I've already suggested before having mid-level mobs that can't be handled by 1 player but maybe 5 or 6. Not quite unique level of difficulty, but more so than a champion level one, giving some random loot drops if humanoid, or some higher quality natural mats.
  16. Details would be good, as would a bug confirmation. I'll keep my eye on the bug report.
  17. Time to get Java 8!

You're also open to potential future security risks with Java 7 being end of life and no longer updated.
  18. I have added a note and a "see also" to the rope page. A category and template now exist for hauled items. http://www.wurmpedia.com/index.php/Category:Hauled_items http://www.wurmpedia.com/index.php/Template:Haul Note to editors: The template may be added to any item that can be hauled as a bullet note. * {{haul}} for static objects * {{haul|hitch=yes}} for objects that may have animals hitched The template automatically adds the category, so there is no need to add it manually. When adding the {{haul}} template to pages please ensure any other information on hauling is removed so we are not duplicating anything. Thanks, Marni
  19. We typically retain threads but I can lock it for you at your request.
  20. My post/thread was merged, not that it's relevant to the suggestion. Wall mounts like in Skyrim would be a good way to display them, just in normal Wurm style, however, apply the tardis effect...
