  1. Or just make it so whenever a stump is destroyed by any means, 10 iron 1 coins drop on that tile. That way it's not connected to someone doing it directly. 10 iron 1 coins so it makes a pile... I can't imagine how hard it would be to find a coin laying on the ground with max graphics settings.
  2. Would personally love it if someone made this a mod.
  3. I would rename the title to 'Mod to prevent animals from turning grass to dirt' Since it isn't specific to -all- packed dirt, just a specific case of packed dirt. You should get more relevant replies then.
  4. Like the title says, just a simple token you can make from metal, wood, or clay. In order to prevent spamming I would say a skill requirement of 10-15 would suffice, which 20 skill giving a decent chance at making them, so all players can use it, but not people just joining. To make this work, it would be crafted as a nameless Token, which you right click > 'Scribe Name' or 'Engrave' name. This isn't like your signature on made items, it will always show your full name. And finally, you can "Lock" it's 'rename's text, but only if you added your name to it already, but it can be renamed as usual before that. What would this allow? Merchants to sell services as well as goods! 'Token - Dirt Digging, 5 tiles' 'Token - 1 Enchant of at least 50 Power' 'Token - 1 Coc Enchant at least 70 Power's 'Token - Wagon Building, 1 Wagon's This will of course have only the value that the person who is selling honors it.. but not abiding by your own sale wouldn't be good for business, and I don't see this to be an issue, since doing this and not delivering would kinda make most players not buy any of your other things, once your reputation gets out. Now, since this could apply to not just the server I played on, but a lot of them.. I would propose that there be a config file for server admins to edit how difficult these tokens are, since maybe some server owners may not want them to be too easy, or want only those already skilled to be able to use these. I would also say for sake of spam prevention that they can only be crafted, they won't show up in treasure maps, or bought from a trader for silver.. but you could add a toggle to let traders sell them, since I do imagine some server owners may like that functionality.
  5. Notes: -First off, if this has been addressed before, my apologies, but i have checked the Known Bugs thread, and have not found it. -This is a non-game breaking, non-exploitable bug that merely is an inconvenience, so understand it may take awhile to address and solve, and i may update this post as I find more cases of it. given it is non-exploitable and doesn't make any gain or loss in materials, I will be trying to make this bug happen on purpose in order to try to find more cases of it, cases will be added to the list at the end as I find them. Okay, so. I was making wine, something unrelated to the bug. I went to repair my small bucket and couldn't, because it said the item I had selected 'small wine barrel' can only be used if it is on the ground. Kind of expected it to be able to be done, given I don't think anything is needed or should be used, to repair items. since if you log in fresh and have no active item, you can still repair freely. What I think is happening, is that the active item, while not being -needed- is still be 'used' to repair the item. Meaning this -should- apply to any action that requires no tools, while you have a active item that can't be 'used' in the inventory, unless it is a bug that is a lot more complicated.. So I am hoping for this to be true, since it is easier to fix. I will update this post if I find different scenarios where I have found this issue happen, more so as a way to see if it's -any- pair of items that can be active but needing to be on ground to be used, with any item to repair, but currently it is: [Added typographical emphasis {Bold/Italics/etc} for readability] If only 1, I have yet to either test more, and haven't found more scenarios. -Active Item: Small Wine Barrel; Repair: Fruit Press; Unable. Edits: -Spacing/Grammar
  6. That is a halfway decent alternative, similar to just using an outside note though: since it you technically even use one to open up the logs: so exactly the same as just using, for example, notepad, or similar. But yes, i do consider it a bit basic of a thing, meaning it may get overlooked, but its possible the idea could gain enough traction.
  7. (Edited quote for sake of simplicity) That's very similar in nature to what i am suggesting. Thanks for your support in this.
  8. Have you ever lost track of what you was doing after crashing IRL and waking up to log in? Are you a busy person and cant always keep track of what your plans are ingame? Do you have horrible focus or attention spans, and sometimes need to make notes out of game, and annoyed by switching windows, or exiting the game, just t check something? Have you ever wanted to make a list or 2 of things, temporary, or semi-permanent, that you could refer to quickly ingame, without the hassle of changing windows, or -gasp- leaving Wurm? May i present the suggestion to have ingame notes, a simple title/desc allowing you make a titled 'Note' or 3, accessible via the 'tools' down down in the menu (accessed by esc key, pretty sure its called the menu) Not being attached to a physical item you have to make, it isn't meant as a way to message people, or make a public list, as that would make paper ingame a moot point. it could be limited to only a few notes maximum, maybe a few more for premium members, to further encourage uses for paper, while not bogging down the ability to just have a simple ingame reminder, not needing to amass any resources just to easily remember something. What does everyone think, is this a fair thing? does it hinder the need for the paper making skill Couple notes, no pun intended: -Keep in mind, i am not trying to get around needing paper ingame in any way, shape or form, just think that some way to have a reminder for yourself that isn't timer based would be nice, and shouldn't need ingame resources to achieve, within limits, of course. -I use Paper to mean Paper or Papyrus, unsure which one it actually is.
