  1. Just wanted to post how satisfied I am about their services. Asked if it was possible to request a very specific item and they got back to me in less than 24hours!!!! Rarity included. Real professionals here, will be buying all my metal gear from them from now own. 10/10
  2. THIS, I do not know what happened, but just suddenly I stopped getting maps on my rolls on all associated activities. I have only found 1 treasure map since last year.

So recently I was reading the roadmap and while at the section about spell gems, I thought to myself: why not scrolls :D Papyrus making has little to no use, could really benefit from this use, plus, scrolls are cool!! the negatives: Papyrus is relatively easy to make, could drag the prices of spells down and that's why they are going with gems maybe? solution: a) Add extra crafting components/QL requirements for papyrus to be used for scrolls. b) An extension of the rarity system, only "special papyrus" can be used for scrolls, random window of opportunity for someone crafting papyrus to make a "special papyrus" In my opinion, gems have very useful purpose in the game already, give papyrus a chance :)
  4. I will give my newish player opinion on this. Keeping in mind that the allure of the game is based on the depth of the crafting/interacting with the world aspect of Wurm (or at least that's what caught my attention about the game) I would say is great to have systems that have a steep learning curve. But more is not always better, the new player has no other option other than to focus on grinding a skill and learning a page of the wiki before planning any concrete goals. For the average Wurm player, this is an accepted, even embraced concept, but for the new player there is no way to get that instant bit of satisfaction, only after a few days, maybe weeks of your starting play-through you can start to see some meaningful experiences, see how I used the word "experiences" not "results." A new player cannot and should not create an endgame-grade tool, examining archeology, the leveling of the skill matters very little because it is just a genuinely fun thing to do. Making the player feel like their time invested will lead to at least some short term gratification could go a long way in making them stay invested. TL; DR systems that are interesting and fun to understand, rewarding even at short term time investment, and have difficulty to master.
  5. UPDATE: FIXED IT!!! NVIDIA control panel setting for Power management mode was changed to High performance, and Vertical Sync was turned off now I enjoy 120 fps of glory!!! Thank you all who helped me and Budda for mentioning the GPU performance, it hinted me to look into the power settings of the GPU. you are all trully wonderfull.

  9. UPDATE: running the game as an admin added 5 more fps to the client. now I am at 20 fps. not Ideal, and not a fix, but its progress. Please help me figure out this puzzle.

  17. Hi, asking for help because I am at my wit’s end with this issue. I have tried every kind of graphic setting combination, my performance is the same whether I’m running low or high graphics, always 15 fps. I’ve tried uninstalling game, uninstalling java, but nothing seems to work. On the control panel shows that Wurm is only using 1.2 gigs of my 16 gb ram, and 14% CPU. I don’t know how to make it use more. Players in my alliance and even on global have helped me try to crack this issue but it has been to no avail. Yesterday I went to Xan to drop something off and had 3-9 fps with consistent drops of 1 fps every second on the dot. For reference I live on Pristine away from any huge deeds or anything that would make me lag. It’s frustrating because of the constant screen jittering and I can’t move items or open menus properly. Please help
