We need more lively and customizable landscaping plants and placement options. Coastal deeds would benefit greatly from palm trees, palmetto shrubbery. The wood from palms could be a black palm lumber which can have an interesting look new texture for items. New shrubbery plants would be so nice and make deeds looks so much more unique. They need to be more freely placed in their grid not like the planter bed borders which feel so limiting. You could also add a couple of trimmed shapes to each of the plant models. For example, bonsai styling, square cut, round cut, maybe even sculpted animal shapes and spiral topiary cuts. This could play into a new skill named along the lines of “Landscaping” or “Green thumb” higher levels grant access to more intricate designs. Shrubs can be grown using cuttings like plants do already. At the very least allow us to make larger planters with our pottery skill and do larger more interesting container plants that are placable anywhere in a tile. I think the way wildflowers look on the new botany tiles is great and shows how nice flowers could potentially be in game. Just imagine if we could plant them anyway we wanted.

What settings allow for the lights to all render at such far distances??? Ive got a decent computer and the lights always load as I approached them and seem to sort of turn off or “unrender” as I get farther away. Like the intensity(as described here) lessens as I walk away from a light. And not subtly either it’s like 25% dimmer every “x” amount of steps away from a lamp. Maybe like per tile of distance I go it pretty significantly reduces the intensity. (Not actual numbers haha I’m not doing this level of research :p)

Personally a plan on spending my zero money until there’s a good looking outcome for the game… The last game I spent money on before wurm online was rust in 2016 when it was in alpha…I played the game until it wouldn’t run on my old computer. I found wurm a couple years ago and ended up spending much much much much MUCH more money in this game in comparison due to its addictive nature and how fun building is. I had actually planned on spending more when my work season slows down this year so I could get bricks mortar etc and finish my builds without wasting my off time from work crafting. With recent news at this point I’m basically logging in every so often to try selling items I’ve had made up to sell anyway and just focusing on upkeep. Hoping things look up before that runs out haha. I don’t mind changes in fact I was super happy to see what appeared to be initiative but the staff departures really made this into something I don’t want to invest my money in until we see real game updates and improvements the players have been looking for. Enjoying other games in the mean time!!!

Unfortunately CAD is the highest popped server because a large majority of people joining the game want high pop servers based on their experience in other games. The first question people ask is, “what’s the highest pop server” almost without question in ANY game. And I know a lot of older players moved there to make use of the more developed wagoner web and just seeing more people around. Its actually an issue that every game suffers from I play rust on occasion and the second the pop drops by 10-20 on a 200 pop servers people start spouting, “the server is dying I’m out.” And the following day that sever is halved and then halved again the next day. heck even fps games like apex legends it happens…if a server has an issue at start up and only 50 people make it in the lobby instead of a full 60 people leave b/c there’s less opportunity for kills. So the 3 or 4 people with that mentality leave and you can three or four teams of duo in a trio match so those teams throw or leave themselves and it’s even worse for everyone left. People can’t comprehend that if they don’t leave the pop doesn’t go down haha. Gameritis

I rarely post on other topics but I think this is a gracious and well worded apology, I just don’t think it’s Kristers responsibility to be making this apology. It seems as though krister was solely responsible for making these changes as opposed to a team effort. The mistake isn’t Kristers for having thoughts and visions unless they wholeheartedly refused to take criticism or help from the rest of the team which I’m not convinced is what happened. This was a team failure not just one person. However kristers willingness to take the fall for the team shows this is a good person who did what they could and intended well for the game. The website needs updated, the game needs updated, it all needs to earn more revenue to continue that growth. But it all relies on the team not just krister.

Sorry if this exists and we’ve missed it but Help chat on a couple of occasions has let me know it’s not in game. personally I feel like I imp items for hours and hours at a time with no MOI but I’m also typically multi tasking and not glued to the screen to see the visual que. I also listen to podcasts or something while I play so no audio wise for me either. So being able to see “MOI only” would let me know if I’m just missing it or not getting one at all. I’ve also noticed people miss gaining affinities all the time. The amount of times I’ve seen, “wait when did I get that affinity” in chats is kind of crazy. Add a filter I have also missed mail notifications or wagoner pop ups in a similar fashion and logged out for x amount of days to a cancelled wagoneer or a long delayed COD package. Add a filter. more give “specials/notices/etc.” it’s own tab similar to how a support ticket pops up or the skills tab pops up when it happens.

5/20 - Updated stock and offerings to remove items that never sold and include support beams. I will still make racks, BSBs and other not listed storage options at your request but pickup is required for most of those items. More COD carpentry options like 90ql tools coming soon (then 95ql tools after training WC to 95 so I can actually utilize my 95 carp for imps. WC currently at 94) ***please leave ideas for products you would like to see offered!
