  1. I also experience the same thing - expecially with using the auto-move forward (default x keybind).  The one thing I have noticed is that it is only land movement - not ships.   Might help determine the issue by seeing what it is that's different?

From experience, even when you reinforce the floor and walls you can still get a cave in.  Reinforcing, significantly reduces the chance of cave in but not completely. Being on deed also significantly reduces the chance of cave in but again, not completely. The only ways I have found to prevent a cave in for sure, is either an underground building or an underground cats-eyed highway, both of which seem to offer full protection from a cave in.

Agreed.   But - 4 of them appearing right together within a week or two?   out of a 550 tile long (3 wide) tunnel system?  4 different times in that same spot (so far)?    The odds are pushed beyond reasonable so I am thinking it's something more.   I've had a 240 tile (7 wide) tunnel in another area for over 2 years with no collapses.   Also - collapses are *supposed* to happen against the wall, not in the center - but here I've seen it in the center of the tunnel leaving a gap on either side.   I think it's worth looking into.

Was there a vein removed with erupt/freeze in that spot? I had one of those re-collapse multiple times and eventually gave up since the issue was reported years ago.

We did do some erupt casts for the tunnel - but the area above this is a very steep slope and difficult to get to so I don't believe this area was included with the erupt casts.

  4. I have a water-way tunnel on Harmony starting at 680, 3192 and ending at 944, 3192.  An area of the tunnel roughly 1/3 of the distance (going west to east) keeps collapsing (4 times now) for unknown reasons even though the area walls are fully reinforced.

It is my understanding that a collapse will only occur in a tile adjacent to an unreinforced tile - but here, I have seen the center tile of a 3-wide tunnel collapse.  I thought someone might be messing with it via strongwall or shaker orb and did not report it.  But - today, I found 4 tiles collapsed (one of which was now an iron vein which I think rules out the strongwall or shaker-orb).

I removed the stone veins and left the iron vein to mark the spot.  Feel free to reach out to CM CthrekGoru in game (or here) with any questions.  I am around most any time US Days/Evenings.
