Darnok you have nice idea but also too much doesnt means better, tons and tons of work but yeah its all about things I would love to see much more designs, characters and such but im worried that with code and not enough peoples that works on wurm it would be something enough big like a new game creation

  5. @Darnok It can be disscused: What changed : no pvp on pve - soo you can be now 100 percent sure that there will be only that on pvp races and classes are different things but also its about LOOK and things that some players would love to have and some wont. Wurm is unique but if you will Play human nothing will be really changed for you and monster play will bring more money for dev pockets and also maybe will catch some more new players to try and build something bigger, Also for me: Low optional pvp on freedom would be nice thing for peoples that want it they could join for peoples that doesnt want it they stay where they are... But your choice and I understand it. Anyway suggestion went forward to be disscused inside the developer team already and they will look is it possible and also how they see it. If you guys want to keep the game like it is for you it will still be the same game, all of those options that I wrote here are optional (the race change, buffs) for new players that like the idea and would want to play something else than human especially that stage of implementing new player model to goblin and troll shouldnt be that hard becourse we already have rigged models in game one lack can be the lack in some animations. I understand how you see it but for me thinking and blocking something that some of you wont use and doesnt have inpact on you is like another level on my mind. Anyway if it will be needed I will pay for this project with my own pocket and make it for closed group of peoples to not interupt your game. trolls and goblins may have also another one island at northern isles who knows or maybe it will even not be able to make it in game becourse code.

They Won't do it they will have premade models like we have tents but their models will be placeable and will look just more designed for their race Those 2 races will not be able to life with efficient without selfes Trolls and Goblins will be together, they will use mostly wooden/lether armors and more advanced richer trolls will be able to have some really much weight parts on self but not full armor Tools will be mostly made using stone with different bonuses by using slate,marble or rift woods... The main weapons will be clubs or part of trees eventualy some later designed weapons... Trading: They wont be able to trade with silvers, only item for item, also players who will want to play the monster will need to pay 5.99euros for transformation, he will get his skills 20% lower and also will not be able to learn silvers by trading and earning them will be hard soo you will need to be ready to pay from your own pocket for monthly sub The only way to earn silvers will be.... SIEGES: Once a week there will be radomly choosen human city that will have to prepare for a siege of player trolls - if trolls will win they get the silvers... There will not be able to lose ITEMS for freedoom islands there will be only big item damage after death and also some statistic lose on both sides Faith: Humans have 3 gods Horde have 1 - Forest Giant - They will have shamans, human have priests GOBLINS TROLLS You see we already have models for Goblins and Trolls the method of making it come true seems easy Imagine that if you will leave like and comment you will make possibility to play as one of that two races, you will be able to create new style of ,,villages'' as someone else, smaller or bigger and also a Monster, gameplay will be more hardcore You will see humans everyday and whos can be your enemy and destroy your inventory items just by killing you, you will have to grow a enough big horde village to defend self from lot's of populations that humans are HORDE DEED Guards: Guards will be like in human version but there will be just ,,troll guards'' - starting goblins will need to know how to defend selfes right?   17. WELCOME I were curious why it's not possible on islands like Cadence, Harmony or Melody to get Horde of Summoned or Jenn-Kellon items like tabards, flags etc.. etc...... That is sad that as players, somewhat new players we don't have avaibility to get such items becourse we can't sail to Defiance and item's doesn't transfer, getting it unlocked on our islands or even letting us to sail to Defiance to get proper cosmetic items would unlock something that for others is nothing and for others means a lot, there are no negative thought's and our tailors that play on our island would have a new cosmetic items that they can create and also earn silvers, for persons like me where cosmetics items are not only a things too look good but also help in Role-playing what eyes see the mind reads, please Head GM's, GM's, supporters, players if it is possible let's get this idea to move on forward and let us have more fun with more cosmetic items that are IN GAME.... -------------------------------------------- Let our journey begin, please like the post if you like the idea and also to change something on our islands, I might think that Im not only one who created that type of thread but we need to be seen right?   18. ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ Ludwik Von Grass A self-called Nobleman that who is not afraid of hard work and approaches everything with great enthusiasm , was born as the son of a wealthy German named William, in the year 1056, his story will soon be known... ✠ CHAPTER FIRST | EARLY ESCAPE ✠ The story of Ludwik begins in a small town called Branbaum whose ruler was his father - William II Von Grass. This town was located on a high hill overgrown with trees of various harvests, to the city led a very winding road lined with stone slate from a nearby mine which also brought extremely high profits to the ruler and the citizens by mined there gold iron and copper. Every night a cheerful and joyful sounds came out of the city people ate and drank from their mugs various liquors prepared by a local craftsman. In general - they rejoiced in their lives without any specific worries - so Young Ludwik Von Grass remembered the town - so and not otherwise, it was well managed, strong and how modest; its power was hidden in the hands of the inhabitants of this town. During his adolescence, the young heir had to take up the challenge to use all the knowledge that his father William had given him, he tried his best, but he knew that difficult times were coming for his town because after so many years of mining the source of deposits in the mine was exhausted and unfortunately for fate in the nearby forests appeared Trolls who stopped the merchant trails and these led to starvation, poverty and panic. ,,How can such a strong city fall so quickly?'' Whether William was still able to see during his lifetime how everything he built with his subjects goes down to History. He knew that the trolls would attack soon and completely destroy the town, so he ordered to escort his heir to the nearest port together with most of the warriors who had to guard the heir from the monsters in the forest so that he could sail away from the island... as they passed through the forests there were quite a few bits with trolls that decimated the warriors, fortunately Ludwik got out of it and got to the nearby port where a well-known merchant and friend of William took him to the island that is called Cadence.... ✠ ON THE WAY... ✠ When they sailed out of this noble and rich port with their decorated merchant caravel, they saw that the weather was changing drastically; in the sky you could see flashes breaking through clouds as black as coal and fog that came as if from nowhere ... One of the merchant's men, seeing the changes, all pale, sweaty and in fear, in a trembling voice said: "we will probably enter the middle of the storm, there is no return.... it is not known how it will end" Ludwik, having heard the words spoken by a member of the merchant's crew, was troubled by the whole helpless situation, because looking back in his thoughts into the past, he had his Father's eyes, his gaze soaked in emotions, sadness and pain - the sight of such a worried and powerless - not only the Father but also the ruler pierced Ludwiks heart He thinks that he had just lost everything.A ruler, a father with whom he spent much time and received wise teachings, a mother who always supported him in his time of need, faithful and devoted villagers - everything that was most important - was lost, sadness and sorrow in such moments filled his tormented soul, He could not imagine that such a great sacrifice of his family and subjects would be in vain... When they had already entered the middle of a huge storm, Ludwik went down to the lower deck of the ship and began to humbly pray to the Goddess Vynore that she would fill the entire crew with knowledge and strength so that they could get out of this hopeless situation... As he prayed, he heard screams, woes and pain - everyone saved themselves as much as they could, holding on to various parts of the ship, strong waves broke their bones, threw them into the sea for certain death, waves beat the ship so hard that it could be compared with the great wrath of the gods... Suddenly, a loud barely audible cry goes around the ship, "We're about to crash, The big rock in front of us!" Ludwik at that moment, hearing these unpleasant words, closed his eyes and prepared for the fact that in a moment he would be consumed by the sea and become only a legend in someone's book....   19. s This is my idea for a project to begin - it's optional and can get more peoples engaged, my english is not quite well but I will do my best to let you know what all about it. How many times you sitting in your house, fully furnished waiting for someone who will talk to you, write or even drink some orange juice or a beer and tell you a nice story from his wurming life, this project is all about getting some Roleplay activity to every village, but not everyone can know what's all about this Roleplay right? soo lets begin - what is it ? Roleplay is playing and acting like you would be inside the world of Wurm, you act it as a real life and you can't get out of the role, you must keep the history, biography of your character soo you can't say - I can't drink this orange juice becourse I don't have premissions - you should say, It would be great to taste this nice orange juice but it's pretty cold durning night and it froze, I will wait some time till I will be able to drink it. The way of conversation, the way of acting will get you closer and closer to your character, own history and will make your game in village more and more colourfull. Soo... GENERAL RULES 1. You act like in real like you would just be in game inside your character. 2. when you do something you can use /me getting up his hand to get off the hat on his head - to not get hat dissapear after a click. 3. You write a history of your character, biography and you can tell stories to other's to let other know you more and achievments in Wurm Life. 4. You can do it whenever you want to do you don't really have to be a full time roleplayer! 5. Try it and you will see how much funny situations will happen. 6. You don't need to use voice you can just use it as chat. Okay Lud, what we as community will get for doing it? Good question, WE as community will have chances to start in huge roleplay scene in games that leads to thousands of viewers and also bring some peoples that want to make own history, videos. Those times we live in all around internet and playing online, we have a huge sandbox over here and we can show new players that this game not only led to building, skilling, hunting and such things we can make them write their own history their own journey and we all will write the huge history that will make all peoples closer, your fancy houses, villas, castles or a simple shed will hopefully get some more life when somebody will came to you to drink with you or eat. The possibility of this is huge 1. Drama 2. Comedy 3. Romantics Everyone will have a possibility to write and get inside the journey of Wurm, take the hands to not treat Wurm only as a game but also as a book where you are a writer and you let peoples read about you, now young generations stopped reading books (not everyone) but also this is what they read look at some other games where Roleplay exist it get popular peoples like stories, they like to see how game characters getting a live and have own story Wouldn't it be nice if you play this game for such a long time - or maybe you are a beginner to push some life for your character, make it alive, make neighbours, make something special and the game will not be only a game but something more, will mean more than just a game and you will help community to raise, get new peoples that want to roleplay in Fantasy - medieval style ages, and we will give them support and avaibility to do it. Think about it. Soo in General - again. Roleplay will get your game more alive with more history. It will bring other style base of players who will want to have fun It will be able to make a series, films and such if there will be much peoples who like to do it You will bring a piece of brick to raise the playerbase You will give a little of self and you will get knew as anyone you will want to be know as I started to write about new players - the tendency of new players with not really much interest is, join tutorial, somehours nothing to do exit -or somekind of that much of villages know what I am talking about becourse I get in touch with some and they know how it looks - if we are giving new players thing ,,do whatever you want to do'' they don't know where to begin, they don't know where they are and they have such much possibilites that they ending up building house with a question - what next? - The roleplay idea is to push the emotions and live in the game to make them feel that they are inside of something big that have history, that have a live characters and especialy that they can do it by self - build their history, rise emotions with others and have fun not only in skilling and building but als othe other things this will make them more interesting in terms of gameplay what it offers and what they can make, let em write on forum history, biography of their character's lets people know more about them and their life here in Wurm, what they did, what they felt and what is their dream, they will spend more and more time and they will feel connection beetween them and their character that they made, they will create and form other histories of other characters by conversation and journeys, the game will not be now the only game where you talk about life outside game or what you have to do or only ask on chat about help becourse you don't know how to do someting i will give you example. OOC(out of character) - its the way you write now without acting How to make a shaft? click two times on a carving knife right click on log and click shaft IC(inside character - you acting now) Hello strong men, I have such experience in carpentry you will need a log of quite decent qualitty, you take carving knife into your hand and try to figure it out how to shape a shaft from a log - if you will fail i will help you this will rise your knowledge about it ^ Of course not everyone will get if someone is new what you mean soo then you can write in (( )) how to make it, he will feel like your character talk to their character how to make a thing it's not now a connection player - player but a characters inside the game - isn't that beutifull ? you just created small history and maybe it will rise futher to other interesting history Soo lets give it a chance and try to push life into your houses, villages, characters... and remember to do it YOU DON'T NEED TO BE FULL TIME ROLEPLAYER If you have any other ideas, opinions and maybe you want to repair my gramma, just write it over here I will be glad to get an likes and opinions from Admins, Moderators, Gamers etc. everyone who likes the idea.
