I'd personally like to see this mechanic being added in general to the game tied to item rarity: Common/rare - 1 rune cap Supreme - 2 rune cap Fantastic - 3 rune cap Archaeology stuff - keep them the way they currently are with the 5 rune cap. But I'd like to see targeted dispel being added first anyway (possibly as a new spell with a higher favor cost than normal dispel) so we can target dispel runes on multiple rune items.
  2. I figured human pads are currently one of the more commonly used/popular choices of pads. I can imagine a good chunk of people not being too happy about having a old pair at 1.8k rift points spent that they can't imp.
  3. My current human pads have no material. Human pads are LW on the test server. Will my current ones become leather or will they stay nomats and I'd have to buy a new pair?
  4. Hell yes, thank you! Two questions.. 1. By "new shoulder pads" - will there exist an old version and a new version of all the existing pads? 2. Is it possible to also get the rings impable? I wouldn't mind if jewelrysmithing was a bit more useful.
  5. Ye but a small difference of the currenty jack sh1t doesn't make a difference. But with the new changes and buffed effects, dual wielding human pads would be the difference between +16% vs +18% dmg for ql 80 vs 90. That's a big enough damage difference that people are actually willing to pay for currently in the game (going from using 1 to 2 or even 3 casted jewelry for minimal damage is one example I can think of that people do and pay for).

  7. also while we're at it, pls buff halloween pads. They are kinda viable now since current pads are kinda trash, but they'll be ###### after rift update with no effect. By buff I mean add a kinda fun effect or something. Like causing a moahahaha laugher to be heard every average 2h per pad (probably an actual bad idea, but you get my point). Don't make them better than rift pads but don't keep them useless.
  8. The pads effect scaling with its ql would be fine.. .. if the pads were able to be imped. Them coming as a random ql introduces a gambling aspect that is directly tied to performance. Sounds like an unnecessarily frustrating system which doesn't (as far as my opinion goes) make the game better. I'd love for pads to be impable (and obviously also repairable, which would even solve the issue some people have with their pads taking damage..).

  10. I know that a meditation rework is planned, but god knows how far off in to the future that is.. This is me making a suggestion for a short term change in the mean time. Suggestion: Make meditation timer based on if you get skill tick rather than simply 1 use. Literally the same as how lock picking currently works. Keep the timer lengths as is. For anyone who doesn't know, lock picking can only give you a skill tick every 10 minutes. You can still pick in between for utility but the skill gain is capped like that. The difference between lock picking and meditation is that for lock picking you can keep going until you get a skill tick which then triggers the 10 minute cooldown but for meditation the cooldown is triggered from simply meditating once no matter if you get a skill tick or not. In terms of coding time, I imagine that this couldn't possibly take that long. But then again, I'm not a programmer so this might be ignorant of me to say. This is a suggestion coming from someone who already is at 90 meditation.

  12. This might come off as a bit harsh, but hopefully not far from the actual truth. Giving us our intentions after the fact is good and all, but doesn't really change a lot. If given before, it would definitely have been a different story, as you pointed out. Actions is what matters in the end. About our "high expectations", I don't think that simply not expecting AI generated work, images as well as text, leading to both images which gives a very false view of the game and text with literally wrong descriptions of the game is having particularly high expectations. Let's be real, to get something trash and then be told that expecting to not get trash equals "having high expectations" doesn't make sense. Bringing in Katspurr is a win.

Someone sat there and thought that people like and enjoy that and that it isn't annoying? .. and then sat there and actively spent time implementing this without the thought crossing their mind that .. .. No.

  16. Characteristics are 50x as slow to grind as most skills. 25x slower than mining (due to mining being a slower skill than others) and wc (due to double ticks assuming hatchet instead of saw). Can't really do a lot to bypass this. Difficulty for characteristics doesn't use tool ql (similar to channeling), so a player with a more long term mindset should balance their mining grind for characteristics gains.
  17. Try opening your skill windows and look at your farming skill when you grind. See when it pops green? That's when you get skill. Has nothing to do with skill tab. Let's assume you get a 0.06 skill tick without sb. What happens if (in settings) you set show every 0.1? Well, it'll show 0.12 in skill tab every two ticks. What happens if you pop sb? It'll show 0.12 in skill tab. What happens in both cases? Skill tab will say 0.12.
  18. Obviously making more money makes things cost more. By obviously, I mean that I literally wrote that. Bothering to read it all before replying isn't really important for some people. Deed and premium costing the same silver on NFI vs SFI with everything being more expensive on NFI is one advantage for NFI. I literally argued nothing more and nothing less. It sounds to me like you don't agree with this? Not sure how to disagree with basic maths, but eh 🤷

  20. This was a change/fix they recently made. Set blank max to allow ql100. People complained that ql100 max allowed ql00s and that there was no way to set ql99. 999999 max. Check out the patch notes for it, they made it make way more sense than i can do.
  21. This is not a glitch. Anything duplicated doesn't add extra. You get the same timer from adding 1 chopped carrot as you get adding 20 chopped carrots. What's not clear is what's considered a duplicate: All sausages are dupes. You will not get a bigger timer by using one veggie + one meat compared to just using one meat. Meat obviously gives more timers than veggies since the meat is processed twice so always use meat sausage. Tldr; only use one of everything. Add dupes for bigger pizzas only.
  22. Can't you just keep the traders in the game literally exactly the way they are with no changes while still adding the shop? Keep them for the sake of RP as well as for deed cost reduction? That has got to be the literally easiest solution to implement for the dev team in terms of work needed and would piss off the least amount of people. How is this not a win win situation? Even go ahead and keep the option to buy stuff from the trader using the old school ui for anyone who wants to use that.
