  1. Would love to have more natural variation in the sheep colors. Just like we have with the horses. Also a black or brown sheep should really give black or brown wool. Not sure what the use would be yet but perhaps there could be a special use for colored wool. Btw, pigs come in different variants as well. Just saying.
  2. Hadn't seen that yet. Looks like that will make Wurm life a little easier Thanks for sharing that.
  3. You can name sheep if you brand them. Just like you can name donkeys, deer or cow and bulls. I think the only creature you can't name after branding them are pigs. Don't know why, I guess not many people breed them. But I used to brand all aninmals and name them to prevent inbreeding. You should keep track of the names because once the parent dies you will no longer be able to see who the offspring belonged to.
  4. I think improving could be made a bit easier if we had a similar window like the crafting window. Where we could just have multiple improvement actions in a queue. Having to select a different tool for each improvement action adds little to the enjoyment of playing Wurm for me. So making that a little easier by autoselecting the tool for the imp actions in the queue would make imping a little more enjoyable imo. The imping window could be a second tab of the crafting window or something. You would just need to drag all tools and material that might be needed for imping into the window. When an imping action fails the queue would stop and you hit repair. Then hit the improve button again to continue the imping actions. The benefits would be: No more need to handpick the correct tool for each imping action. Direct feedback of the current quality of the item Less mouse clicks for imping items I made a small impression of what an improvement window could look like. Just need to figure out how to add it to this post >< https://imgur.com/a/KuBp5Tx Here is the url to the image I made. No idea why I can't add this as in image in the post.
  5. Great suggestion. I think it's a bit silly to have to build a ladder first to get your stuff in place and then destroy it after.
  6. Love the donkeys and can't wait to see AH changed so that higher skill will be more beneficial.
  7. Just a typical Wurm friday evening in the Silver dagger tavern
  8. Thanks for the fun event. A shame this legend has met her destiny. Some random screenies to remember the occasion.
  9. I always wondered what they looked like. Thanks for sharing
  10. Time to bump this one. I think it would be really nice to have annual skin design competitions for easter eggs and christmas ornaments for instance. I'll admit it's not a 100% original idea https://yppedia.puzzlepirates.com/Egg But this just shows that it works and I do miss these arty competitions
  11. I want to keep those tiny guards. Perhaps add a tiny guard tower Even though my dog and pigs are lost somewhere in the grass I love these april fools change. Don't make it last too long ... except the guards
  12. +1 I would love to wear (and make) fancy clothes without loosing the protection of the armour.
  13. I think it woudl be nice if some of the rough material in Wurm would be more usefull. Like for instance wool. While wool is quite a usefull item in real life, especially some centuries ago, we can only turn it into yarn and make armour which offers very little protection. So I was thinking if we had soap, for which we already have all the material to create. We could turn wool into felt which could then be used in all different type of items. Deco items like table runners, clothing like felt hats and shoes or bags. But best of all a Yurt or Ger. We really need a comfy tent to survive those harsh Wrumian winters. The soap could also be used for imping leather and cloth items.
  14. Oh, never thought about that. There where other pigs, sheep and a dog in the same pen. I'll check the logs. Edit: checked the logs and found the murderer of my pig Venerable fat pig 'Bubbles' tries to kick old fat pig 'Speedy'. Didn't know peaceful animals would attack eachother when one is tame. Learned something new, Seems this is no bug after all.
  15. I was grinding tameing on pigs today when one attacked me. I continued tameing it, but after I succesfully tamed it the fighting didn't stop. So I walked away and tried to set 'no target'. However the option didn't show when I clicked a random tile. Then I tried to walk away further, but even when there was a fence between me and the pig, it kept on being bashed. Thougth relog might fix it, so I logged out. When I came back that pig still got bashed So I ended up with porkchops. I glitch in the new fighting system?
  16. Rift points at last Stumbled upon a rift scout camp today. Lucky for me my friend Rels.on was there, he did most of the killing. But I did scratch this ogre somewhat. Anyway time for some selfies.
  17. +1 Would be so nice to put some food on the tables of my tavern. A lot of food looks really good but that is a complete waste if you can't put it out on display.
  18. Other option would be that a starving animal can not wear gear or be hitched, so as the animal becomes starved it unhitches and drops it's gear making it free to wander off in search of food. If this happens on a deed the gear remains on deed and is not lost to the owner. And even better, if the animal is in a fenced area (hopefully with grass tiles) the deed owner also gets to keep his/her animals (if cared for). So that's even a bonus for deed owners as opposed to the current situation. Of course this situation could also be easily prevented if you leave your animals in a fenced in grassy meadow before disappearing for a couple of months. But that's just me being sentimental about pixel animals
  19. Gratz on the successful migration.
  20. I do like the idea of having some more fighting actions than just hunting mobs or participating in Rifts which is not an option with my fighting skill atm. Also love the idea of connecting that to archaeology. But I do see how having bandits all over your deed just because your neighbor decided to disband his/her deed could become a nuisance. So why not have these bandit towers in another dimension, aka the past. What if you could find 'special tiles' by doing archaeology, that would open the gate to that other dimension so you could choose to enter and fight the bandits. Or you could make an event of it by inviting friends/fellow islanders and defeat the bandits together. This way the 'here and now' wurm would remain unchanged, but Wurmians could 'relive' the past by defeating the bandits and getting some loot. The number of bandits and their strenght could be disclosed on discovery of the tile, so the person that discovers it could decide wether to enter on their own of call for backup and enter the portal together. To make it accecable for noobs like me the strenght of the bandits could even be tailored to their current fighting skill, or for a team event to the fighting skill of the team. Once the bandits are concurred the tile will disappear and after a certain time (a week?) the portal will also close to be discovered again at a different location. Difference with pvp is that the worst thing that could happen here is that you loose your life and some skill. Like when fighting normal mobs. Difference with rifts -> accessible for new players, especially if the opponents (and loot) could be tailored to the players fighting skill -> player (finder of the tile) decides on the moment the portal will open which nice for people in different time zones or with limited time to play -> player gets to decide if it will be a solo or team event
