I would agree if they had have addressed it when I made the bid 3 days before, the fact it was only addressed when it looked like I might win it could have artificially driven the price up

You knowingly and deliberately made a bid to raise the auction price futher after a bid you knew to be invalid. You only cancelled that bid when you were called out, if you were not called out I would bet a significant amount that you would not have retracted that bid.

I want to say that if Bipolar had have messaged me as soon as possible that my bid was no longer valid I probably wouldn't have made this post, the fact he left it three days to artificially raise the price which somebody could have outbid me on is perhaps the worst part for me.

Exactly, it's like the end game PVE goal to see the progress on your account with friends I had never interacted with this person before so while the statement seemed weird, assumed it related to some event that happened privately.

There was recently an auction in which Bipolarbear auctioned a rare saddle, his friend Kinganon started the bidding process. After several hours they were outbid by myself, this persisted for several days until Bipolarbear realized I could possibly win the auction I was then informed By Bipolarbear that he would along with Kinganon manipulate the bidding. I guess it's not okay to participate in the game as a private slayer and do what you enjoy with the people who you enjoying doing it with, but theirs no issue if you want to manipulate an auction with your friend to suit your biased perspective on how you think people enjoy the game they pay for just because they want to enjoy it in a way you don't agree with.

I do like the concept of an auction house but as we have seen from previous games it is the first major step in removing in-game trade between people limiting player to player interaction in a game in which thrives based on connections made with other people.

The easiest solution would be to decrease the journal to about 50, it's still quite a lot but especially on SFI it's very achievable and as somebody who has done 60 on NFI (Where theirs half the servers) it's still a long term goal

I would much prefer to have a community project of building water highways to take advantage of the speed trait, a singular big cavern sounds a little boring

I recall seeing a talk once about the psychology of mobile games and part of that was to give players more reasons to interact with the cash shop I can see the similarities between that and all these recent gifts forcing a player to open the silver store.
