  1. I'll take everything you have left if you can deliver to south exo p18 or u14.

  3. Brocules' alliance MOTD: Logging started 2015-12-11 [08:45:27] MOTD:North part of skeleton desert will become steppe now, pls respect this. http://forum.wurmonline.com/index.php?/topic/135687-black-pearl-on-exodus-s16/ This was agreed to and when you tried sanding over the stuff I was working on I said it will be desert in a month... i.e. I would not give up until I was done working. Going back on your decisions does not make you a victim. As for accusing Brocules of being a thief, that was from a discussion between me and a former villager of Broc's about how his expensive hota statue was stolen from a building on the Black Pearl deed to which only he and the mayor had access. He discussed it with me and asked if I had seen anyone who might have taken it since according to him Brocules accused me of taking the statue (NOTE: the statue was stolen before I even moved to Exodus, so no it was not me.) The statue theft is kind of a well known incident and I am not surprised someone else accused Brocules of the same thing.
  4. Alke to put it bluntly I think those logs are something your friend faked. I saw them in the other thread and didn't bother responding because nowhere in the thread did my name appear except when mentioned by someone else. Nor did I find a record of the thread on 4chan even though misterinformed said it was there.
  5. As the title says, because we all know if SOTG is nerfed we won't continue playing a game whose development staff listens to lazy players who think it's too hard to get or can't get enough friends together (in an MMO lol) to counteract enemy SOTG.
  6. I will be there on mikesandy.
  7. I will probably be there on Mikesandy.
  8. There's a couple things wrong with the new bury-all feature. 1. the BURY_ALL keybind only buries the corpse, not the items inside. 2. the Bury All option on the select bar has a red-and-white checkerboard image instead of the bury icon used for the normal Bury option.
  9. literally makes no sense. The portal works both ways. Merge is an opportunity for you lazy Epic players to keep (most of) your skills, your moon metal items, whatever bits of scale/drake you have, your enchanted tools/weapons/gear, your valrei tomes/resistances, etc. while moving to the Freedom cluster to dodge your own mistake of playing on Epic.
  10. I'll answer this with another question: why should a new player be almost as hard to kill as a player who's been playing for 5 years and dedicated 4 of those years to just training fighting skills? Grind up like the rest of us did, or buy an account. Then hone your skills and learn to play with a good group.
  11. >the opportunity >implying another opportunity doesn't already exist
  12. They are. I told you to get good. Here's how: http://www.lmgtfy.com/?q=tactics http://bfy.tw/25au
  13. "SOTG = skilled?" Your words, not mine. In all honesty, Propheteer, I do believe we need more players on chaos. However, your suggestion is not the right way to do it.
  14. http://www.wurmpedia.com/index.php/Epic_portal problem solved. You decided to play on Epic. Now you think that was a mistake. Freedom/Chaos players should not be affected by your bad decisions.
  15. Just delete the epic cluster and let the players start over on Freedom... It's pretty clear from this topic that Epic players don't want to be on Epic and are looking for a way out.
  16. If you were lazy enough to play on Epic you shouldn't have your skills transferred to Freedom. I'm all for killing the Epic cluster but those who choose to continue on Freedom should have to start from scratch, just like the rest of us.
  17. get good means get good. How you choose to do that is up to you.
  18. I hate to break it to you, but if you don't like grinding this game probably isn't for you. Have you perhaps tried Wurm Unlimited? With the right parameters you can get to 80 skill in 5 actions! Never grind again! You will never have to pay for a month of premium either, so you won't need to "waste" any money getting SOTG. You should try it!
  19. That's up to 4x as much damage. I don't need to do your work for you as this is a pointless thread. When you can make a 100% damage reduction character you can tell me all about how I made those claims up. In the mean time, maybe you should try getting good. Translation: "I'm too impatient to get SOTG. Everyone who does have it is autistic." Just an FYI: extreme impatience is an indication of autism in young children :^) This thread is the Wurm equivalent of the Health At Every Size (HAES) movement. For those of you who don't know what that is, this is the mindset of a typical subscriber to the HAES school of thought: HAESbro: I am 4 feet tall and weigh 700 pounds. My body fat percentage is in the high 80s. HAESbro: Society thinks I'm fat, but I'm actually as healthy as can be! I am still alive and can think and speak for myself, therefore I am healthy. The doctor tells me I won't live to see 40 but I'll show him! Exercise is boring. I'd rather sit on the couch and eat 3 pizzas a day while watching TV. Health is a social construct. HAESbro: Those skinny guys like Scooby are the true unhealthy ones. They need more meat on their skeletons. I could probably snap Scooby in half like a twig, even though my arms are too heavy for me to lift without assistance. Essentially, these deluded people have figured out that the best way to feel better about their life-threatening obesity is to declare everyone else unhealthy and continue to live their unhealthy lifestyles. An analogy: When a normal person sees an ideal (healthy) person, he/she aspires to be that person, like Zyzz When a HAESbro sees an ideal person, he/she rants about genetics, makes a tumblr about how that ideal is not real, or not what healthy people actually are, or a crazy obsessed person who hates themselves, etc. Normal people climb the mountain to reach the top. HAESbros complain that there is no mountain top, and declare wherever they are to be the new mountain top The proper response whenever a HAESbro tries to rant is "HAES pls go." Now since the "older players are too strong please nerf them" school of thought has no name, I think I'll take this opportunity to name it the "Strong at Every Level of Autism" (SELA). This is what a SELAbro thinks: SELAbro: I have 70FS and 25 body strength. My meditation level is in the 20s. SELAbro: Society thinks I'm weak, but I'm actually as strong as can be! I can kill dogs and cats with ease, therefore I am strong. Wurm is boring. I'd rather have everything given to me as soon as I start and not have to work for anything. Strength is a social construct. SELAbro: Those strong guys like Becket are the true weak ones. They need to play less and spend more time in TF2. I could probably kill Becket in 3 hits, even though I still call tower guards to help me kill bears. When a normal person sees an ideal (strong) character, he/she aspires to be that person, like Zivirt When a SELAbro sees an strong character, he/she cries about pvp mechanics, makes a thread about how SOTG is OP, or not what strong characters actually are, or a crazy obsessed person who hates themselves, etc. Normal people climb the mountain to reach the top. SELAbros complain that there is no mountain top, and declare wherever they are to be the new mountain top The proper response when you see a SELA thread on the Wurm Online forums is: SELA, get good.
  20. +1 to smejack's post OP if you bothered reading the code instead of CTRL+F'ing your way through it you'd realize there's a damage reduction cap. Maybe the issue isn't a broken game mechanic. Have you tried getting good? Additionally (using your own calculator) it's pretty easy to see that even in 90ql steel plate (not hard to get), 50 strength, and sotg (pretty standard stats on chaos afaik, you get almost 90% damage reduction. That isn't a far cry from the 97% you were crying about in your post.
