Defiance doesn’t necessarily deserve PMKs, and chaos doesn’t necessarily deserve defiance-like features. We’d be unwinding the work of the devs and the community. Defiance was a concept that community agreed on before its inception. “What would an ideal PvP server look like? “ They decided on removing the junk from chaos to create a concept with a low barrier of entry for new players. Like no bags of keeping, no tomes, no war bonus, limited med paths, etc. Things that new players would NEED to be competitive on chaos. The long term solution for this is wait for the portal system and hunt on defiance. You want changes cause you now refuse to play on a server that has what you want. That screams entitlement which is what the staff have to deal with daily. Trash brought up a good point which would be to unlink Chaos from freedom if the devs decide to go down this slippery slope. Otherwise, -1. Keep chaos chaos.

This is quite the bias here isn't it. Vinius is in JK on defiance, no surprise that you would -1 it. +1 for this reasonable suggestion as it would benefit all.

-1, infact a HARD -1. Chaos has tomes, volcanoes and PMKs. Defiance has been asking for PMKs for years. Keep Chaos Chaos, and keep Defiance Defiance. Making all clusters the same will remove nuance from the game and give us less flavors.

Will the portal transfer system also be accessible on the chaos and defiance starter deeds or only on PvE?

Lots of misconceptions about PVP in this thread. It seems as though it's coming from a place of either fear, ignorance, or simply not taking the time to understand. Some reasons for disliking PvP is personal and that's fair. Some are related to not knowing the nuances between SFI and NFI, like no tomes on Defiance(NFI). Some not having any idea about the starter islands which are seldom raided. There is also no economy on Defiance so you can get everything essentially for free if you join a group. I've learned more about the game mechanically playing pvp than pve. Knowing that there's a constant threat out there makes the game fun and interesting. Moreso when you find a group of like-minded individuals working towards a goal in addressing the threat or insulating yourselves from the threat. Whether it be kingdom projects, building towers, terraforming, dropping deeds, etc. I'm sure there's a different kind of fun on PvE to be had but it's not my kind of fun. I'd rather slay a Dragon or do a rift with 7 other people than 150 other people and their 50 alts. I hear stories all the time of PvE players making tickets over petty territorial disputes about an undeeded patch of clay, sand, or forest. At least you can fight it out on PvP.

The Defiance map seed lends itself to limited naval combat, thus a major inability to display said PMK sails proudly. The only other option would be to pvp on ship transporters.
