Gavias 970 The tunnel is marked with signs. In the one spot where you can turn left or right, go right. The coords (approx) for the tower is 1600, 2300 Gavias had to help me find it, and he indicated that I was the 4th person in the past month or so who contacted him about this tower, which is why he put in the signs. Apparently the algorithm likes this tower lately.... PS - the tunnel isn't strait - far from it - but easier to draw a quick line than to really try to map it out when there is no benefit to mapping it. and not expecting the tunnel to go on the map - just posting it here so if someone looks for the way up there is a record.

I was told (have not reached it myself) that the count stops at 60 items, and repeats at 60.

LOL. Thing is it won't be many complaining, DannyUK is correct. Yet, those who voice complaints tend to do so frequently, often expressing illogical arguments. They strive to transform the forums from a space of civil discourse into one characterized solely by trolling and vitriol. It is one thing to offer criticism, particularly constructive criticism; it is another to be a broken record on the road of whine. It's why I don't bother with the forums that much any more, and not at all on the discord.

Someone asked me if I have a picture of the hots crown for the wiki the other day, and I said no. Forgot who asked. Then I realized that when I was king of HLL, our template was HotS and that the crown and jacket are probably the same. So, I looked and found only one picture that had me wearing the regalia and it is OK, I guess, but not great. Here it is if you have an interest in using it Not cropping it as I figure you may want to do each separate, and the blue line is kinda annoying..... but so be it. The troll mask is not a part of the crown.

There used to be a "dark mode" that made the background dark and text light - I want to say it was in settings. I never used it as it hurts my eyes but perhaps that is an option.

I love the new Forage/Botanize update. The nodes look great, they add a lot more interest to the world, and overall I am very pleased. Almost all of my concerns have been addressed except one: New players getting into it with critters, not really understanding the mechanics of healing and suddenly finding their screens flashy red and needing a heal, but not having any cotton! Well, one of the things I am finding the most of is moss. Like, lichens are friggen everywhere and I am way overfull of moss. I got moss growing everywhere it seams! Well, the uses for moss are kinda limited in game, but historically they were actually used in bandages! So, why not bring that use into Wurm! Let the entire moss get used up (all 1.0 kg) for a single heal. Don't want to replace cotton (and wool) but would be a nice secondary use for the material that I appear to be getting far too much of!

As taken from this thread - copying over to bring to Dev's attention. Wishing tree itself does not appear to have spawned, or did and was destroyed by a willow tree (current theory). All other effects (wraiths, etc) are in effect.

Much like we have dyable horse cloth barding, I propose dyable pavilions. Two colors, just like pavilions are currently, with each area being dyable. Would not require new models, though the existing model would need to have the shapes outlined. Thanks for considering the brightening up of our deeds!

/Attackers - assume it is pvp, never heard of anybody using it, and no real way for me to test it at this time. /ca gives this message "[19:45:22] In future, Please toggle using your Profile.", so it should probably just be removed from the list so people stop using it. /Champs gives these messages "[19:49:39] Current Eternal Records:" & "[19:49:39] Older Eternal Records:" Guessing there are no records to show as champs are no longer a thing. Tested this with my toon who was a champ as well as a never champ standing next to the former champ. /mission doesn't appear to do anything. /password I am too chicken to test this one to be honest..... /poll - guessing this is if you belong to a deed in democracy? No idea, when I test it I get a pop up saying no poll in operation, and I have no idea how to make a poll although I heard about democracy being able to kick out mayors and such but this is just guesswork. /reputation - I believe this was removed from the game, though I get this message "[20:19:36] You raise no suspicion.", which in itself is rather suspicious..... /rank - believe this is removed from the game. Everybody appears to be the same battle rank of 1000 /ranks - list 10 people, very old players, all with battle rank 1000. Again, believe this was removed from game a long time ago. /refer - removed from game long ago /stuck (along with /respawn) were adjusted recently, and to be honest I cannot remember what they were changed to. /shout - works on chaos (and I assume all pvp servers), but not on freedom. Should clarify that it is a pvp command and doesn't work on Freedom other than to type in freedom chat. /snipe - removed from game long ago /toggleccfp - gives "[20:34:09] Unknown command: /toggleccfp" /tutorial - does nothing, but may in the tutorial on GV? No idea. Someone would have to make an alt or use GM teleport to go there and test it. /tweet - twitter doesn't exist any more..... and I don't tweet, so I cannot test this, but I expect this is a dead command. /vote - democracy thing, which to be honest should just be removed from the game, but it should be noted at least that this only applies for deeds in democracy. No error messages though, when not in democracy. /warnings - I LOLed for this one, I guess it may be useful data for some users, but feels more like a GM tool. "[20:39:50] Spacy has played 284 days, 11 hours and 54 minutes and received 0 warnings. Spacy has never been warned before." Everything after /weather is out of alphabetical order, which makes it more difficult to find things. I am sure I missed a couple, but these are the big ones.

There are several commands listed that are no longer options within the game (i.e. /snipe). Would be useful if this could be updated. Thank you.

My biggest concern at this point is finding cotton for new, inexperienced, players. 2-3 times a month we get, in help chat, someone who is brand new to the game, who took on a rat or goblin and has a red screen, no idea how to heal themselves, and is fueled with adrenalin trying to stay alive. This person needs cotton, and needs to find it quickly and have simple directions for how to find it and then use it. I don't have a good way of solving that. A few ideas: When wounded, all nodes have a chance (15-20%) to give cotton on top of what they normally give New players start with 25, zero weight, zero decay, bandages that are no drop. There is a new tutorial / basic training journal that deals with teaching people how to use cotton to heal themselves.

That is similar to picking fruit off trees. You get the 1st, get attacked, the other 3 are lost as the action was interrupted. I may prefer the fruit to remain til the last one is gone, ditto the resource nodes; but it is a consistent mechanic this way. The one factor I keep wanting to test is cotton, particularly with beginner skills AND a wound. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to do that. Every month we get half a dozen people in help asking about wounds, how to cure, etc. Beginners as it is one of the first things that they encounter is that combat can be hard. I haven't even had time to go and make a short list of the node types that have cotton in them, which I know will be a big item in help when it goes live.
