  1. Thanks for reporting this, got it added to the list to be looked into.
  2. Seems to be working correctly judging by the screenshots. The tile corner you're standing on is able to be surface mined as all tiles surrounding it are rock. The tile corner to your left is unable to be surface mined as only two of the 4 surrounding tiles are rock. You would need to dig the two dirt tiles down to rock before you would be able to surface mine that corner. When digging or surface mining, you're focusing on the corners of tiles rather than the individual tiles themselves. In the case of surface mining each corner needs to be surrounded by rock tiles.
  3. Surface mining a tile corner requires all 4 connected tiles be dug down to rock. Dropped items on tiles shouldn't interfere at all, only the tile type matters. Do you have a screenshot to show the area you're having the issue?
  4. Would it be possible to have plant based nodes grow onto adjacent tiles if they're unharvested for some time? This would aim to provide condensed patches of nodes out in the wild that reward players for exploring for them, rather than foraging the same area just outside of their deed every week.
  5. No foraging/botanizing on every tile anymore, i seem to find a node every couple tiles. Multiple gathering ticks per node, so multiple items, skill ticks, and seemingly coin rolls. Overall seems to even out about the same before the change, you just have to search out the nodes a little
  6. The new forage action on nodes seems to bypass the Forage/Botanize deed permission. Is this intended? You are able to harvest a node from any distance away if you activate/right click then move before starting the action. After starting the action, it will end properly after moving a few tiles away from your start point. This instantly destroys the node, even if it would've given more resources. Hotkeys don't seem to work on nodes When attempting to gather from the same node as someone else, this line is missing a space after the name "[14:55:33] Testis working with the critter nest." "[15:25:08] You find some acorns, but you handle it too roughly and damage it." Items like Acorns, Cherries, Pinenuts, etc. should be "you handle them too roughly"

  8. Could you detail what exactly is making it difficult to do anything at this moment, aside from focus being placed elsewhere? Keenan had made it clear one of the big things standing in the way of an NFI/SFI merge was differences in the code base. If that's the case, is there any intention on rectifying those differences soon? I had spoken to Darklords in the discord some time ago, and he made it sound as if those code differences were testing tweaks to things like creation rarity chance, among other gameplay tweaks. He also said he'd look into making a post explaining said changes as they've been in since NFI launch, and surely should be done testing. Transparency is always good, so could you get any word on if those differences in the code base still exist and if so, what are they, why are they still a thing, and when will they be solved?

  11. If you get a visible tick during a session, for the rest of that session the invisible ticks will trigger the green flash. It is a bit annoying, but as mentioned above you should already know what's optimal before you're anywhere near the final few ticks

  14. Thank you for gathering a considerable amount of good news for us! So glad to see Drogos being worked with on Wurmnode, he has put together a lot of nice tools on the site, really would've been a shame to see it go. Something myself and many others have had great interest in over the years would be Seasonal servers, akin to Challenge for pvp and Jackal for pve. Is there any definitive word on whether or not we may see those again in the future? They really would go a long way in driving player activity without negative consequences like dividing the playerbase even more across more permanent servers.
