My best friend on the game got himself in a similar situation. Whilst he had a goal (buying prem as it was too expensive in his currency) he spent so much time trying to make rares or foraging for coin that he forgot to just have fun. He ended up burning himself out and took an indefinite break a couple months back and I miss him greatly.

Let's be honest, how many people would actually lower their perimeter to 1 tile?? The whole reason I personally moved was to get away from neighbours right up my ass. Granted they were very nice people that I never had any issues with, I just didn't wanna be holding hands with them anymore. (Basically meaning the deeds felt too close for my liking as I was bumper to bumper with them)

You do know there's whole ass servers full of resources right? There's plenty of undeeded land with resources. If you need marble but don't got any in your mine? Go out with a wagon and some trusty steeds, a boat too if you must sail. There's how many servers you can freely cross to and explore? If you're too lazy to go more than five tiles from your place, or adventure is not your thing, then just buy ###### you need from other players 🤷‍♂️ No need to punish deed owners because you don't have something yourself.

So, as someone who will hitch their riding horse to a cart or wagon but then unhitch her to run around to either explore the area I'm in or to head quickly somewhere else (without having to take my cart or wagon) it would be nice if we could select the individual animals hitched to a vehicle and be able to unhitch them instead of only being able to select the vehicle itself and unhitch them all at once. We can do it with hitching posts so why not vehicles 🤷🏼‍♂️

As someone who is what many vets would probably call a "new player", as I've only had about 4 months under my belt rather than years and year, I much prefer the old severs🤷‍♂️ Granted when I joined I had no new servers to pick from, it was spawn on Indy or don't play, but I have stayed in Indy ever since. When I started there was no chance for me to start off on the same foot as everyone else, I had to start months if not years behind others but that did not discourage me from building my own path in Wurm. To be honest as someone who's not a very social person I enjoy being able to bugger around and not always see people in local, whilst yes it's nice to meet new people I also like being out alone or bumbling with friends. Granted that doesn't stop me from wishing Indy had 100 people on at times to give the place a bit more life but it's not really a "end of the world" matter to me. I get that my opinion of the old servers may be a minority amongst newer players but that doesn't mean we don't exist at all. One day the "brand new" North will not be brand new and new players joining will once again have to start years behind other players, so perhaps encourage people to explore their options and see what is a better fit for them rather than saying something is "better" simply because it's what you may prefer or think is best for them. 🤷‍♂️

Greetings everyone, I have myself a rather large new deed and am looking for some people to join me. I've got quite a few plots just sitting there so hopefully some people will want to come be part of the group ^.^ The deed is on the south coast of Magincia Island in Indy, s18 for ingame map and 37x 60y on the splendid Albia road map. *Please do keep in mind there is lots of work to be done here but I figured perhaps it would be fun to develop the village together* A couple of rules: -Be active and please tell me if you will be leaving(the game, server or village) or going on break. -All buildings will belong to me since sometimes people do just go MIA -I ask that houses are only made out of slate, marble and/or timber/wood as that is the sort of 'theme' for this deed. -And of course, be nice and respectful If anyone is interested you can reply here or pm ingame (same name) ^.^ Current map via deed planner

You have to go into your Wurm folder as that's where it gets sent to, I use a Mac so I have no idea how to get there if you use Windows though I assume your Wurm folder may be in a steam/steam apps folder. I thought it did nothing at first too till I went exploring through that folder XD

Not all people who make alts to own many deeds are doing it to be jerks. Whilst yes, I'm sure there are actually people doing so to annoy people, make them upset or run them out of town, there's mostly people who've put down the deeds because a) they can and b) they want to. If they haven't given thought to "oh what about the people who wander through here?" That's not really "greifing" . They don't have to let people use their land if they don't want to.
