  1. The Key does not give access to a locked crate rake inside a building. The house allows pickup and load to freedom kingdom and is off deed.
  2. Lake Port Maze

The maze is open! Keys are just 2c.
  3. Agreed. I don't want to setup a bulk store because I don't what to check the 'pick up' box on my deed perms. I'd settle for fenced in areas with unique perms. Can this currently be done, in a way, with buildings?
  4. Allow adding of keys to permissions similar to how players can be added. The intension is that one key could open multiple gates/locks. This could also allow keys to have more specific permissions. Like the key could allow 'command' but not 'access hold'.
  5. When I create a second settings profile for my 40% keyboard it doesn't seem to save correctly. After making changes in the launcher then changing the selected profile before clicking 'Play' the settings don't change between the profiles.
  6. Could cartography be part of an exploration update?
  7. I for one appreciate the current system. I believe it's important for the devs and game master to protect the various ideals/values they (and they're past selves) decided on. I haven't played long but I have seen a few valuable skins come and go. I may have bought extras to sell at a future date. That in my opinion is the "loyalty" value . I was here when it was available and others were not. The idea that the devs might change the system in the future could lower the value of all skins past present and future.
  8. I see both side of this issue. I really wish the game had a better way of identifying what was and wasn't 'abandoned' but I recognize that's difficult. I honest wish there was a time that vehicles could be looted. Especially considering how slowly they decay. If I really want to keep my stuff (long term) it's not too hard to log on once a month and check on things. I vote for no change. I think the items that come with a lock are good. I'd like to see more lockable items though, like small and large chests.
  9. This is a good idea. Why not also include any container window of rare items that have containers. Ships, carts, quivers, ....
  10. I think helping new players is a good way to increase the chances that they will continue playing the game. Maybe add journal entries that encourage seasoned plays to help new players. - Give a 80ql tool to a new player - Help build a bridge at someone else's deed - Treat someone else's worsening wound - Help build a house at someone else's deed - Surface mine at someone else's deed - Place cat's eyes attaching someone else's deed to highway - Enchant a mailbox at someone else's deed - Spend 3+ silver at a merchant on someone else's deed - Improve someone else's cart or wagon to 50ql - Give someone a ride of more than 5km - Invite player to deed - Invite deed to alliance I know alts could be use to get these without actually helping new players. That doesn't mean that everyone will use alts to do so.
  11. But it's still a benefit if you have a surplus of sb and only 1 hour of play time.
  12. Wow, so much negative feedback. It's my assumption that the caffeine system's target is the player that want's to raise their skill but doesn't have a lot of play time. I assume the same about the sleep bonus in general. This doesn't really apply to me as I'm not in a hurry to max every skill. Perhaps in the rl summer months I'll use sleep/caffeine more intentionally to max my outside time. With these things in mind I love that Wurm has mechanics in place that allow me to trade play time for skill gains. I also love that these systems 'make sense'? Meaning there is some connection to the 'story' of Wurm. Sleeping recharges your brain for more learning. Caffeine is a mild stimulant. The many different tea/coffee recipes allow you to get a target affinity as well. That said I hope we can put the caffeine system to bed for a while and work on other areas of improvement, I'm betting the devs feel the same. Good update! How bout an archery update next?
  13. Rift Jan 29

What does it mean when niarja lists time start times?
  14. Random line is still happening.
  15. I'd suggest any secured structed come with an invisible 'roof' one floor above it's highest floor. The roof would be sloped so the intruder would naturally be push away from the structure as they fall.
  16. Add sinew to butchering for sinew bow strings. They are harder for a ropemakers to make but much better than wemp bow strings (break less often).
  17. Is the electrum statuette also an option?
  18. Yeah, ok. I was thinking things like new kinds of fishing lures and alchemy ingredients. Why not bug collections. Maybe they could be added to flower beds? Jars of fireflies could be used as low level lighting. New flies would need to be added occasionally.
  19. This makes me wonder how many other menu options are available but not displayed. If I were to guess (and I do love guessing) I'd say the menus are populated off of a table of some kind. I think making a query of some kind asking what the player can do and populating the menu off that would make the menu easier to manage on the back end but certainly slow down the server and likely the client.
  20. Oh yes and fireflies too. Thanks Finnn.
  21. I may not have been clear. I actually want to be able to catch the butterflies. "go play skyrim" I hear you cry.
  22. A butterfly net. Butterflies could be used in fishing and other things I'm sure.
  23. I see. I figured re-logging would probably help. I just don't think that's reasonable for arrows, I'm not even sure they're there.
  24. I believe this is a known issue. Sometimes, many times items do not render. Commonly it's backpacks sitting on my workbench. I know they are there I just can't see them. In this case I can just nudge the table (gently push/pull) and they appear. But I've recently wondered if this could affect arrows too. I know there have been time I've lost arrows and couldn't find enough 'the arrow broke' events in the log to account for them all. At a later time I've return to the same area and found my arrows in plan view, on a paved tile even. Is there any hope in this bug getting fixed? Are there any suggestions in the mean time (for things like arrows)? I also wonder if it's possible to lose arrows inside things like trees?
