  1. I have a rare saddles and I can confirm this.
  2. @Keenan Renew your pet shop subscription! 🙂 I checked, it is not a problem with me, I can access https://freedom001.game.wurmonline.com/mrtg/lag.html
  3. Sorry Trickster but to not know about this gift you have to close yourself in a concrete vault - there is speech about it all over the Freedom and forums...so I didn't think about it.
  4. Bashing items removes important part of the history and is a sad and necessity thing to do, because no one should be forced to have e.g. a mailbox with a stupid name on it on their land.
  5. That drama is 9 months old. 😉 And hell yes, it was also my suggestion - ignore list is ignore list. However, I cleared my ignore list and will try to keep it clear as long as I can.
  6. Yeah, it slipped through my mind one day. 😉 In the time of COVID this is also one of very few human-human interactions we have.
  7. I see some improvement, recent changes made me very happy (even if most of them I don't care like PVP) because they mostly reflection of players' suggestions and requests. I hope for more, of course. Let's not be salty at Christmas. 😉
  8. I have a small table and a perfect place for this chequerboard, so I would like to use it, I hope devs will fix it. 🙂
  9. I got a chequerboard from Santa, a very thoughtful gift, I tried to place it on a completely empty small square table (which quite big) and I get this, despite the fact there are no other items there: [17:40:00] You start to place a luxurious checker board. [17:40:05] There is no room for the luxurious checker board on the small square table. This table is big enough to even fit 4 boards like this, looks like a bug. EDIT: It also doesn't seem to work on other tables similar to IRL chess ones, but can fit on a cupboard.
  10. Hi, they are so beautiful, a person who drawn it has a very good sense of taste, and in Poland we traditionally keep them up to January the 6th, which is The Kings day. Snowmen last like almost a Wurm year...
  11. Let the avatars to stay until replaced by another mission involving the same god avatar, let them drop some nice little things at random such as sleep powders that will be handed to those of the same religion who landed a hit after the avatar is dead. Looks like a cheap way to bring more fun and team game play.
  12. Guard towers, as other items, bear no name when bashed, and these not bashed have a founder plaque. It is my deed, I should be able to do whatever I want with items on it, without needing to destroy and rebuilt them.
  13. Others have stated it is a good idea, except for one person who does not judge ideas but their author. 😉 It is my deed - I should be the master of my domain. Yes, and my suggestion is to preserve that history instead of bashing it down. I have on my deed amazing, rare enchanted mailbox, and since no GM agreed to remove the stupid name from it, I will most likely bash it, because I am an OCD person, and it annoys the hell out of me (and I am not the only OCD person playing Wurm), so the bright history if this item will end. Both IRL and in Wurm I love used things, even with that mailbox - I have instant enchanted mailbox on my deed, better than the one with stupid name, but yet I left this one too, imped it, painted in a nice colour, but I can't stand stupid name on it.
  14. Amazing answer to my long, polite and well argumentated post. That is the dumbest line I ever read on this forum. 😉 And trust me I rarely use such adjectives. But well I will answer: I had premium bought for a year when Steam launch happened, I have put a lot of time and effort into terraforming my deed, which is in excellent location, put a lot of time and effort into developing my skills and obtaining my items. I downloaded the game and joined the default server and the fact that a little group of players want to keep their hegemony at any cost is nothing I care about. Imbue nerf will cause a small group of people to have a monopoly on crucial resources. Imbues were nice and innovative way for a newer or different profile players to be able to compete with the old ones. I have racks stocked with top QL ore, I should be the one calling to nerf imbues because It is obvious that the prices of the resources I gathered will increase dramatically, not to mention that I do not skill blacksmithing, so I can pass them on the market and earn enormous money, but I can see farther than the tip of my nose and say things that are good for the game not for me.
  15. Let us to claim ownership on non-loadable items by deeding over them. If I deed a guard tower I can destroy it but not rename, why? Same goes for mailboxes, altars etc. Let us have them if they are on our property, these cannot be picked up or loaded so are not something that can be stolen, also for big things such as guard towers it would improve communication because they could be renamed to something useful such map grid coordinates they are on. I works like that for gates, so why not to other items?
  16. @FinnGMs can help with what is legal for them to help and if they want (if this not their duty), I have seen a lot of GM-renamed items in game, so I guess my kind request is not something unusual. I made this thread to find out if there would be one kind one who can and will do it for me. Mommy always told me that if I want something I should kindly ask. @ThorinoakshieldWooden name plates work only on animals. If there would be a way to do that in-game I wouldn't be asking, I would buy that name plate and just do it. @WilczanI understand your point, but this example is not a good one - as the name of my deeded mailbox (or lack of the name, which is what I want to achieve) has no influence on the game play at all, while the tile types, especially on PVP do matter. You can e.g. plan a house on dirt tile, and you cannot on rock.
  17. Because after I play 10 years you will play 20, and after I play 20 you will play 30, do you understand my point? The game cannot be overruled by a certain group of people just because they fulfilled the requirement no one can fulfil any more, unless you would hand free time machine, so I can start in 2006 with all be bugs, mechanics quirks, RMT and other things that gave you a gigantic advantage against myself, also I do not wish my suggestions to be shallowed. The output in a well-balanced RPG economy is based not on bugs, quirks, RMT and years played but wit, reason, hours played and effort put in game. And the game is interesting if there are multiple paths to achieve a certain goal. Getting fighting to 70 is harder than getting mining to 70, not to mention you have to have enough reason to earn money in Wurm (unless you are situated well enough IRL to buy silver from Wurm shop, but then you can use them to buy mining resources so this is something that is not important in this discussion). So, I got my fighting over 70, I put a lot of time and effort to skill AH and also invested a lot of money to start animal sales, so I can say I put more effort than a person who just grind mining to 90. I picked this path willingly, not because I am lazy. I can easily guess I am one of the most active if not the most active player in Wurm (is there any way to check it I am very curious?)
  18. @RainRainYou can hit everything in a week or month when grinding 24/7, but this is rather an extreme case scenario, and while it should be noticed it is not something to base the mechanics on, and also you just provide arguments against your own theses - because if you can grind to 90 then what is the point of nerfing imbues at all? It will just remove some choice of path from players and heavy grinders will not even feel it. Just to clarify, as you direct the messages like I was protecting my game play - for me mining imbue is not something that is an important element of the game play - due to the fact I have severe anxiety attacks in dark, small places, and these kick in Wurm mines as well, so unless the vein is right next to entrance where I can still see the outside, it is not available for me, so I had to rely on high level players to mine my resources, plus my deed scavenging activity - I am well stacked to do at least blacksmithing 100. I have an imbue 100 pickaxe, but it was mainly done because of the journal or to get a few shards for imping, considering the above and the fact I wrote economy systems for RPG I think I am impartial here. And from my experience I may say with a huge degree of confidentiality that nerfs rarely brought any improvement and usually just brought exodus of unhappy players and a hard time for the moderation that had to deal with bickering. Channelling issue illustrates it in amazing way - when the nerf caused outrage (which I knew it will happen, I wrote to developers a warning this will happen like 5 minutes after learning what the changes were which was before the server restart), the team had to step back and go to the right path - replace the mechanics or add to it instead just making old mechanics useless. ASD people may seem rude, unsympathetic, pesky, and disobedient, but we have no match in paying attention to details and spotting patters. 😉
  19. I never said I want to skip any labour, but imbues as they are now allowed us to choose a different path to achieve goals, unless you say that finding fallen deeds and selling tems, breeding animals or grinding FS enough to be able to participate in unique fights is not labour.
  20. Yes, if you grind, some players prefer to take it easy, a lot of players complain that Wurm is too grindy, so we now make the step backwards. It was a fair trade - if you didn't want to grind mining you had to do something else to earn money or to collect potions for imbues to get some decent resources. Now, if imbues will be nerfed too much you will have no choice of your preferred game play - you will have to sit and grind and of course you will have no way to compete with people who play this 10 years is so. I would like to stress this out - it is the same situations as the black dye - we are not talking about items that costs 20c each, but these that costs 2-5s each, and still give a pretty random bonus when applied and that bonus decays when the imbued item is used.
  21. This will cause imp price to skyrocket, and these are already expensive, considering the fact that impers rarely accept barters etc. this will also make newer or poorer players having no access to the good tools.
  22. If only people who landed a successful hit would get hide/scale then there would be less private slayings I think.
