  1. I have recently been made a lvl 4 gm on a wu cluster. I am completely new at this, but seem to have several # commands that don't function. #give does nothing, but I think I tracked down the issue on these fora, so hopefully can get that fixed. The main concern for me is that #uniques does nothing - on servers that have low, migratory population and a steadily climbing number of uniques. I can't do anything about these uniques unless I happen to stumble upon them by flying all over the servers looking for them. On a heavily forested server that isn't going to work anyway, but on the more open terrain servers it is still a needle in a haystack deal. Is there something I need to do to get #uniques working?
  2. Lowkey, Stormguard lvl 1, 4x sleeping powder (no temple selection)
  3. No thanks. Cooking has a lot of depth for those who want to dive but those of who don't want to dive will not appreciate being forced to anyway. For those who just want to keep functioning, this would be an enforced extra level of fiddly grind for no good purpose.
  4. Yes, if it can be toggled. It can be handy if one finds oneself without a compass in the dark to have some method of orientation.
  5. While I am happy to be a chainsaw repairman, this does make sense.
  6. Yes, please. The canopy bed should always have been big enough for two. Also let us add 4 pegs to 2 beds to make double bunks! Also also it would be great to have a character model in a slept-in bed.
  7. The Lackey is here to hep if you need rescuing when Kiama is busy with real life. Grochar, as usual, is here to help with information and pointers, with an open and friendly manner that I for one cannot replicate.
  8. You are aware, I hope, that isn't only TOY animals that make noises. Cows and sheep are not actually silent in the real world. We would just like that little bit of realism, where they aren't some silent animation. Currently they make a noise when fighting, when dying, and when being branded - as far as I know that's it. Contented cows generally don't moo, granted, but "not contented" could just be that the grass they want to eat is on the other side of a fence or they need milking or they can't see their friend.
  9. I would like this, but let's give priority to getting them to moo first.
  10. No, just A fence. (With the last post there on the left).
  11. Yes, that would be nice.
  12. So, this KIND OF addresses the problem, but only for those who have already fallen foul of it and complained and eventually some kind soul like Malena tells about an option to override it. Just turn it on by default and publish the information conspicuously for those who might want to turn it off.
  13. IRL - I would like other people to get a warning when my caffeine is about to run out. Seriously, though, what about something like the little affinity timer, but with an actual timer and a colour change in the final 2 minutes or so (and go all flashy in the last minute)? Or, maybe a little yellow/green/something overlay on the SB bar. Wind it down like SB winds down, but have it scaled to 10 minutes is a full scale. That way you can easily see the bar even when it is down to a couple of minutes.
  14. ..and sheep. But yes, that is about all that should be campire-only.
  15. There as no response in the "ask a question" thread, and I notice the previous few questions are still unanswered, so I am kicking this off as its own thread: When coins are banked, do they simply become amounts or do the coins still exist somewhere, ready to go back into circulation? I have never had a rare coin in withdrawals, but I have had a renamed coin which I had banked included in coins I withdrew later. Would that only happen when it was me that withdrew, or would it be possible for someone else to get such a named coin when they withdraw from their bank account?
  16. A known problem for a while. This needs to be high on the list of bugs needing urgent fix.
  17. I had two horses on wild grass - cared-for, saddled, branded, hitched to a cart. I think it was with the AH update or something, but the grass turned to packed dirt. I had been a few weeks between log ins but when I did, I went to move them to a new tile, as is my habit, and where my two horses should have been were piles of horsehoes and tack. Weirdly, at the same time, one of my spare sets of saddle bags also disappeared from a shelf (where there where 2 sets, there was now only 1). I just assumed nothing could/would be done about it, as nothing has before when I have ticketed these issues, so didn't even bother raising a ticket. Also not very active in game, and I wonder if that has something to do with it.
  18. Well, that is probably why the question "where is it?"
  19. You have obviously put a lot of work into this, and generally I am in favour of having tiered production capacities. The higher capacity production tools/machines would produce more faster, of a more consistent quality (i.e. no failures or duds) but no top quality (for maximum quality you need to hand craft). The wind-powered mill - would you expect that its production speed is linked to wind speed? I don't think water powered would really fit in Wurm as it is now, as the water is all still water at the same level. Sadly we don't have any flowing water.
