That would be really cool to have different colour rocks and rivers. Maybe if it was on a brand new map like a explorers map or something and then users don't need to worry about their landscapes getting messed up on their current home servers.

I don't think it would really fit the game but I did find this, that is a flying vehicle that might work: Like a flying ship and it has a kind of fantasy element as well. It would take quite alot of materals to make like a big ship for the sea. Only to counter PVP problems, the people who ride on it would take massive damage from long bow attacks and magic spells. Maybe also the flying ship itself could take damage in a PVP zone too and the more damage it takes, the slower it flys so the people on the ground could either attack the players controlling it or shoot at the main vessel to slow it down to a crawl. It could be made with cloth, wood/metal with a banner included + a monsters head and some special parts to make those spinning globes which would have to be blessed by a priest (Which is what allows it to fly) the globes would spin, the wings would fly slowly and if you see in the picture, there is a guy under what looks like some lights. Those lights could light up in whatever colour you want to paint them.

Maybe it could work on a server that supports it, like a extreme weather event server or maybe a certain spot on the map. Would be good on a server like Jackal (if it ever came back) where monsters could cause the landslide to prevent players from going a certain route when they have completed a certain set task. Weather effects though, might be more hard to program in but might be good if there was to be some kind of weather effect going by the seasons. Like more rain during spring and autumm for example.

Auction House is on the Kanga Private Server run by Budda. You need a Merchant Contract to sell items in your shop. The shop gets linked to the Auction Menu which gets accessed through a mailbox. It is very simple and still requires you to buy a Merchant Contract for a shop if you want to sell items. It just makes it more easy to sell certain items. Bulk items are still ship deliveries...etc. if the Auction House works like it does on the Kanga Private server then there should be nothing to worry about.

It's not really gameplay....It more so goes towards the idle game play where the game does its own thing while you go and do something else. Maybe good for chatting with friends in game though while a skill goes up on its own. I know that I used to put on YouTube videos while playing wurm doing mining. This was more so cause, I would not of been able to handle just watching the long timers otherwise.

The only thing I would say is, if you attack a monster and then retreat back to your fire, that the monster does not stop attacking you. Otherwise if monsters were just afraid of fire all the time then people could either retreat back to the fire to recover or shoot at the monster with arrows. Good idea though 👍

Going by the player count on Wurm Unlimited Servers added up at the current time - There are currently 585 Accounts on Wurm Unlimited Servers. From Link - There are currently 602 Accounts on the Official Wurm Online Servers. So only 17 accounts between them. So there are enough accounts at least to make it worth while in a sense. Edit: It seems that some servers on wurm unlimited inflate their player numbers - TY Munster for telling me. However, I don't want any mandatory wurm online updates to come to Wurm Unlimited. The users have created alot of mods that fill gaps of content that wurm online might have/not have already. Also new updates would mess around with mods and even more so mods that might not be getting updates anymore but that are used alot. I would also think it would be a upset to have the wurm team come back all of a sudden after years upon years of no support (Which the user modders have filled) and for them to say "BTW....We are releasing a new update to wurm unlimited and everything from current wurm is going to be introduced. Rejoice! 😀 " Cause it screws things up. Wurm Unlimited is kind of like Old School Runescape in a way as in it being a time capsule but with mods. I say, leave it be and let the users deal with it as they have been doing. If wurm staff would like to develop mods for wurm unlimited then cool cause then the users can install it themselves if they want but it being a mandatory thing. No.

I have some questions then: If I come over to chaos by boat and park on the shore + place my tent down by my ship, what happens if I die to another player? As in: can my tent be destroyed by another player? How quickly could my boat be taken? I'm guessing the lock ql plays a part but I don't know how. It is more so knowing that I have an escape route to go back to freedom Isles and that I don't become stuck on the pvp server in a starter town. If I know that I won't get stuck then I am more likely to come over and want to check things out.

I think there is a big difference between that what you showed and the ice cream/salt looking splats which the screenshots in the first post look like. I also do not think it helps matters that the trees in the distance do not have snow on them and yet snow piles are in the desert at a time of year when it is more warm. I'm not sure though what the replacement should be......Ah! A mini snow pyramid....Though, I would like that as an item....

A bit of a hassle maybe but what about loading a larder into a wagon and then go snowball hunting from the nodes. Then you have the larder right there, next to you. Can put the snowballs in there with no decay then.

Though, Ostentatio has responded to people on discord that were talking about having to pay to clear up nodes from deeds and other issues. If you have a spirit guard then it acts as a groundskeeper which stops nodes from appearing on deed. That's the only option there is currently it seems to disable them on deed. It would be better if there was just an option in the deed settings to disable them on deed.

For some reason, I'm remembering the whole Jimmy Carr news hype and "cancelling". Jimmy Carr condemned for ‘abhorrent’ Holocaust joke about Roma people I think that the wurm team should of looked at his content first and decided if it fit wurm. Though, I guess this is a lesson to be learnt from. There are audiences who like stuff like that, though normally the comedian is labelled as an offensive comedian and that's just what "style" of comedy they have. Though, they are certainly a gamble for representing a brand. And certain "jokes" also won't work unless you fit the niche. So they are very polarising and probably not the best choice when just launching a program.

Ham says in his newest stream that he applied for a spot. People were not contacted first, they had to fill out details and see if they would be accepted or not. So other wurm steamers would have to apply to get accepted 🙂 So if any other wurm steamer would like to be apart of the new streaming service, they just have to apply. I'm thinking that this point should of been highlighted more perhaps in a previous val topic, if it was not. To say that they will not be contacting people to take part and that they have to apply through a official channel.

Won't work because wurm unlimited users also use the forums. Unless wurm unlimited gets its own separate forum/website with its own code away from this one but what would happen to all of their topics? I'm not sure how you would be able to transfer topics to another website. Wurm unlimited users might not play the main wurm online game and so won't be premium and won't have a wurm online account linked either to them. Which would mean that they would not be able to post in their own forums.

I've not seen a website offer a way to change their own logo's before for their userbase online. Also cookies would not be a good way to do it anyway since not everyone accepts cookies or wants cookies on their machine (As per the cookie pop up box that comes up offering you that option) I've normally seen users create either add ons for internet browsers to revert back websites to a older state graphically or provide mirror websites that host a old version of the website with fixed links so that everything works correctly. If users want that experience then it is up to them to provide it and not the company. It is also best for it to work only locally on the users machine too, to try and avoid shut down from the company.
