  1. Can anyone offer some advice on this? Tried all options with the GLSL shader with no success.
  2. I can play the game on high graphics but for some reason the textures appear to be flawed. The picture shows what should only be grass, but the cobblestone follows me and appears on all textures whether on land or underwater. Is this an error with the download? Thank you
  3. Xanadu Map

J12 just south-east of Hollow Springs at the end of the little inlet of water. Deed is Nomad Inlet
  4. My Client seems to have issues with connecting to Wurm despite my internet being fine. It was fine the first few days of Xanadu's launch but has continuously gotten worse. Whenever I attempt to do any actions I get the menu to pop up but it constantly refreshes. I've attached a picture of what it looks like below: this happens for quite some time often leading to the game needing to be restarted before it works again. Any idea why this is happening or how to fix it? Thank you.
  5. Nobody can offer any advice?
  6. Once again I have attempted to return to Wurm and my plans have been thwarted by terrible performance for no apparent reason. http://forum.wurmonline.com/index.php?/topic/74619-ridiculous-lag-on-good-computer/ That is all from the topic above which I posted back in 2013. I have tried all kinds of fixes including to no avail and hope someone may be able to offer assistance. Thank you in advance.
  7. Part of the reason I gave up on Wurm was due to the struggle to find an experience like this. The daily grind of sitting in a house for the purpose of maintaining your property and upping your skills drove me nuts. The idea of actually building up to something (not just specific skills) from the start with a group of people has always attracted me. Yet you will find it hard to keep people interested in this concept as everybody wants to have the best of the best and gets impatient.
  8. Having the same issue, just runs my computer to it's limit..
  9. I did was Elias said, I ended up ###### something up along the line and had to reformat my computer. Still lagging like hell.
  10. Tried updating my graphics drivers, google didn't give me any help whatsoever. I really don't know what to do here, it's ridiculous that the game cannot run on my computer. Tried multiple attempts at changing graphics options, every time I move it freezes. EDIT: Found the control panel, set java to run @ high performance.. no change in game performance whatsoever.
  11. Reinstalled Java completely, started it up and it just freezes and Java stops working. I'm not sure how to adjust stuff with my graphics card.
  12. For some reason I get extensive lag on my new laptop despite it being a higher end one that can run games such as GTA IV on high without issue. I can run all kinds of high-end games at the max graphics but I cannot run Wurm on low graphics even, I've tried multiple settings such as the pinned one suggested by Budda. Everytime I login the textures around me load extremely slow and if I try to move the game stops responding. A basic run down on what I'm using for anyone willing to help: Intel Core i5-2450M 2.50GHz CPU on 2 Cores 6 GB RAM Radeon HD 7690M XT Graphics Card Resolution I normally run on is 1366 x 768, tried decreasing it but had no luck. If anyone has any suggestions it'd be greatly appreciated, I truly don't understand why Wurm won't run on this laptop but ran on my old one which was barely functional.
