I've been looking for banisters too, but sadly, still no option... Funny that we can build a staircase with bannister, but not a floor. Would be nice to have on an upper level inside a house.

It was the different wood types. Check my edits.... There was no problem, just me tired and stilll getting used to different grouping of items in containers. Thanks for the reply though.

*** DISREGARD, MY MISTAKE *** Disregard somewhat...... I just tried an experiment, You may understand the mechanics behind this better than I do. On the first crate, it tells me I have 3x boards (even expanding the list shows me literally 3). If I take out "as many as I can carry", I get 8x the item into my inventory, and 2x left in the crate. Taking as many at a time as I can carry, and dropping on ground until all are taken, equals a total of 17 floor boards. EDIT: Just realised, back to the age old problem, the 3 are different types of wood. Disregard completely. Sorry. 😕

*** DISREGARD, MY MISTAKE *** I was making 30 floorboards. Had a pile of them finished on the floor (I think about 13 of them), and put them into a LARGE CRATE which is within a LARGE CART. I think 3 went in, the other 10 seemed to just dissapear, not to be seen anywhere. I recreated this finishing off a few more floorboards.... I have 3 crates in my cart. The first one now contains 3 floor boards, the second crate is holding 1 floorboard. Any additional that I try to add to it just dissapear. I have added five more floorboards just straight into the cart, and they have stayed, but that has the cart full. I'm not sure how to test this further without going through a whole lot more of materials.

My own ignorance might be about to reach out and beat myself over the back of the head.... As I don't even know what discord is. However, this is "forum.wurmonline.com", isn't it? This should be the place.

Hmm, interesting, as my client did a total update on graphics files, etc. After the servers came back online, but now can't connect.... But you are obviously running Windows, and I am running Linux.... Hmmmmm 😕

Retrograde.... How do we know, for future reference, if an update is going to take this long?

I have heard that in times like this, that they may throw in some sleep bonus as compensation, but what really irritates me is that we've heard about Jackal coming, very strange wonderful and exciting, but we've had no notice that it would be now 3+ hours offline, even though the launcher currently STILL says servers are online. What is going on AB Club???? Wurm is waiting for us!!!!

Where did you get that?.... Looks like javascript, but now we are running on a standalone launcher? And was there some fix? ....Neveremind, I've had my whinge, after a long week. Just cranky I can't play 😕 ... _Plays a sad violin for self_

I guess I've never been on when such a big update has happened (only started playing again last month, after about a 3 year break)... But imagine if I was a new player, decided I'd go premium, and BAM.... One day, you can't play.... Won't connect, even though it says the servers are online. Not good business practice IMO. I wonder how many players drop off due to poor comunications like this? I knew the Jackal update was coming, and like other updates and maintenance restarts, they will tell you in the messages if you are online at the time, and an expected amount of time before servers are online again.... I got this tonight just after I logged in, and started preparing a meal "5 minutes to restart. Reason, imbalance of the two worlds, blah blah".... No timefarme. Thats what annoys me.

I would probably forgive it, if they actually posted something as to what is going on... "Unexpected update failure, servers expected back online in X:XX time", or whatever..... But no, just left hanging. Will it be back tonight? tomorrow? ?????

Over 2 hours, and still down... App launcher says servers are online, but cannot connect. It's my friday night, don't have to work tomorrow, so one of my prime times to play..... Premimum time I will never get back. NOT HAPPY.
