  1. Make peat's dig difficulty change from 0 to 50 so is sort of the dig equivalent of sandstone.
  2. What is the downside of being WL in pvp? Do you play on a pvp server? Because here are some pro's: Logs in has 15% extra damage does not have to do anything (mag), priest can dig (fo and vyn), has stamina on demand (fo refresh and mag mass stam, libila needs to cast on a mob/enemy and gets 20-30% of stam bar the WL gets full bar), has tile bonus on most of the server mycellium covers what? 3-5% of a server for lib and can be removed with a simple dig action, can cast nimbleness on weapons for increased hit chance (vyn priest), Life Transfer compared to Essence Drain (LUL), can dominate hell scorps for pen training (Mag), can charm and tame hellies or even have them non agressive if 40 favor (fo), can remove disease and bad animal trains (fo), can cast every 30m for sb gain for a fatigue loss (vyn), no WL priest has a spell that requires atleast a link (more than 100 favor) anymore, Frantic Charge for movement speed+attack speed (Mag), Forest Giant str(Fo) gives scaling str, even a 90 body str toon gets 2-3 body str meanwhile Hell's Str (lib) has half the effectiveness of it, has 30% res stone built in just for loging in (mag). So please tell me what are the reasons one would give all of these advantages away in order to be a lib priest on pvp and not be able to even build or dig down a dirt wall? Oh? I guess one could just wait for 2-3 of his friends to also log in then link and cast a 30s spell to get skeletons up that would just go where the AI decides.
  3. Hi! Mycellium related bonuses are clunky and impossible to have on freedom so i suggest having BL god given bonuses to drift away from it. For the longest time i was looking at WL vs BL in Wurm similar to the Alliance vs Horde in wow but this is not true, the hots (BL) was probably designed by Rolf as a punishment for the people that would steal and pvp all day in a WL pvp kingdom then be sentenced to play as BL. But as it stands there are too many downsides to being BL: your have only one priest that cannot dig (in pvp is worth to be a priest just for the Dispel and Tangleweave alone nvm the other spells), your mycellium nutri and food bonus is literally preventing you from eating affinity and ccfp food (one fix would be to give mycellium ccfp and nutri and make eating like drinking always be able to have a bite) but even then because mycellium is made to spread in kingdom influence it cannot be brought to Freedom so half the Lib buffs are not available then not to mention Lib being the only priest left that has spells that cost more than 100favor and those are just AI zombies that do nothing but look scary. So i propose a revamp of Libila bonuses based on more realistic balancing needs and the ability to have them on Freedom too. So just remove all mycellium and zombie summoning spells and add these instead: - 15% crit chance for lib follower/priest (similar to how mag has 15% dmg just for loging in) - 15% chance for the enemy to drop inventory on death for lib priest with 80+ favor (or even 30% to counter the mag priest no drop chance) - make lib followers priests gain nutrition and ccfp for eating raw meat but be unable to eat cooked meat (i imagine this could be diff to be able to get all affinities from just meat so you could add animal parts to it) - Make lib priest be able to cast a spell steal on an enemy priest and then be able to cast that spell for 24 irl hours but at the maximum power of the spell steal. So if i am a lib priest and spell steal Life Transfer from a Fo priest but the spell steal power cast was 43 then i can cast Life Transfer but the maximum power i could land would be 43. (could be pvp only) - make a lib priest be able to cast a bamboozle spell taht would make the target stop receiving the active effects from tomes (so the passives will still be up but if they cast continuum or stone skin those would be ignored) and even reversed based on the power of the cast. (Similar to how Oakshell works you have one effect of just the armor if power of the cast is low-ish and you get the aosp effect too if the power of the cast is high). - Give lib priest a spell taht can be casted on lib/followers only (similar to how the vyn sb giving spell can be casted on WL only) and that will enable said followers/priests to pray during a rite of a WL god and receive 50m of sb out of the 5h normally given to a followe/priest of that god. - Give lib followers/priests the ability to kill a mob then take the corpse and activate it then right click an unatamed hell horse and select "Make Offering" option to make the hellie eat the corpse in exchange for it becoming tamed for a duration set by the BT worth of the mob x 10 (For example you offer a rat that would give like 1 progress on a BT so it would tame the hellie 1X10 = 10 minutes. A troll gives like 35 to BT so if you offer it to a hellie would tame it for 350 minutes. Alternatively could just have a BT weapon activated and feed some of the progress on the BT for tame duration. Let's say it would take 100 off BT just for the tame then 1 for every 1m duration. So one could spend 300BT off of their weapon to tame a hellie and have it obey for 200minutes. But as a downside you cannot have any pot on the weapon so if you have a 10k BT weap with acid imbue you cannot tame with it. I am sure i can think of more:)
  4. Make eating same as drinking. I often fill up my toons before going to bed then next day i have to wait for their food bar to go down so i can start eating affinity food for the activities i have planned for the day. So please make it so you can always take a bite even if youre full and have the food lose similar weight to how khavesi works. So 0.20kg i think?
  5. I like the concept of getting rid of your bulk stuff in order to build something then set it on fire getting some resources and rid of the server load. This could also be used for the new holy sites, goblin camps thing. Build an effigy then burn in in the perimeter of the holy sites to extend their bonuses or duration. Could also make it so the players can bring woodscraps in bsb's to a goblin camp, then beat the goblins into submission so they get instructed to build the wooden effigy themselves but the player(s) have to provide the building mats and food and water for the gnogblings for the duration of the build. Could make it so that you can use a charm rune or something on bsb's to indicate to the AI with wich bsb's to interact for the building mats and could use the wagoneer local spam code to have the gnogblings say what they are soon to run out of: build mats, nourishment, lack of sleep etc. And once the gnogblings build the effigy then it can be transported to a holy site and burned for high ql ash and the gnogblings that participated become friendly to freedom isles (green outline) and they roam around the server sniffing and eating arch fragments left on the ground untill they die of old age:) Also merge clusters and make possible WL and BL in same pmk:) And nerf acid pot!.. and remove war bonus! And make Mag BL (because BL has no priest that can dig) and rebalance spells and restrictions 2v2. And remove mycellium buffs and just give Lib followers and priests like a 15% crit chance just like Mag has 15% dmg.

  7. Hi! People don't pay attention to tutorials in any game that's a known fact. So i think alot of people that only play a short while give as reason for quitting not understanding how to do stuff so then the devs keep going in this endless loop of trying to find the sweetspot tutorial that will keep these people informed but without boring them. That cannot be done. Just give them a short basics like: you want to perform an action on a item you must have a tool selected. For any more questions ask in CAHELP. For advanced tutorial just watch this. And then you link the FF episodes from liek 10 years ago they will help them more than investing dev time in revamping the same thing over and over for people that have no desire to invest the time needed by Wurm. So keep it short and sweet and let the player discover just like all wurmians had thru asking around and watching FF vids:) Just literally link them this playlist as tutorial if they won't stick around then they were not ment to be wurmians.

I think the ideea is that pmk's usually are formed by strong accounts and then the template kingdoms get choked out by them so they want to give template kingdoms plenty of breathing space so that the new players have a guaranteed area to play and expand on. The only issue i see here is that the template newbies would have to go thru pmk lands if they wanna reach other template newbies to fight with but at the end of the day you cannot perfect balance something especially when it comes to pvp. So i reckon is sort of a compromise of how to not discourage new players on new toons from playing Defiance while allowing pmk's to be formed on it. So now that they restrict the pmk's area they could atleast allow them to have both BL and WL followers and priests in them (teehee)

  10. Hello and welcome to Wurm Online! We are the most sandbox text chat feature in the entire MMO universe! We have plenty of options like terraforming and building but we are expanding! We have already added a cactus skin so things are looking up. There is no need for us to develop and diversify as we are going to live forever (or atleast as long as our player base is alive so we have a solid 5-10 years ahead of us still).

We were having the usual highly elevated gl_freedom chat when the purge ideea in Wurm came up and the folk want it really bad:) So once a year we want pvp enabled on Freedom but server travelling blocked so that the local server communities can vent all their steam off via pvp. Could also make it so that you announce is comming like 3 irl days in advance and could just have it not count as in once is over you restart the servers with the data from the day before it started so that the people can have a clown fiesta once a year and just toss and burn everything and everybody and then one day later just go back to being nice well mannered wurmians... or you just bambozzle us and not restore the data and be like: "welp looks like you guys will have to start from zero :0"
  12. You look at it like something designed to "hurt the legacy" of players that have long stopped playing Wurm anyways. Is not, is ment as a way to update the features of the game to the current industry standards. Wurm does not have to re-invent the wheel everytime they need to update their competitivness. There are plenty of games that took what worked for others then made it succesfull for them: Path of Exile is pretty much Diablo no? LoL is dota that is a mod for warcraft no? God forbid Wurm can be something more than just a build and terraform but we all like to brag how it is the most sandbox MMO out there. When in fact is not really because, like i said in the first post, it offers alot on player housing and crafting but has "primitive" features in terms of other activities people would like to do in an MMO. And whenever i bring it up ppl go like: hue hue hue wurmians dont care about combat or pvp or exploration they like to build and craft mostly. Well yeah because the people that would like to focus on those other activities don't stick around and play while the ones that like to focus on buildign and crafting do. Is a build it and they will come type of situation. If you open a tea house and sell only tea you will have mostly tea drinkers as customers. Makes sense?

You make it sound like you and others made Wurm Online some favor by spending all that money in game and now you get to decide what they are allowed to more forward from. Not to mention those people that spent so much money according to you are not even playing anymore but guess they get to log in 2-3 days/year type "wormr onlinr" in chat hoping someone would react so they can proclaim how great they think they were 10 years ago. Spoiler: nerds spend alot of money in all MMO's but none has the nerve to pretend they are owed something in return. Wurm Online is a business, they have to make income now they can't live on income from years ago. If you buy a Tesla and get all the optional stuff on it you don't get to decide what the next model is gonna look or function like just because "i spent alot of money on my Tesla" back in the day.

Or atleast make it so it works similar to alligment for priests and have it give full bonus to an under 40body toon then start to diminish returns untill 50 body toon then 51+ the bonus should be negligible. This way the new players can and will benefit from it but the veterans dont have to worry about it anymore.

I would like to have cooldown icons for spells that have a cd like scorn, lof, heal, fungus etc. Ideally we could pick and choose which ones we would like to see by way of a tickbox and the coolwons could look similar to a skill tracker window thingy with: name of spell and then a bar, if the bar is green means is off cd and you have the favor to cast it if the bar is orange means is off cd but you dont have the favor and if it's red means is on cd. I would settle even for an icon or a text in spell effects. Or have it mid of screen text: X spell is on cd for 25s more (same msg as in event tab)

What if the devs delete all pvp servers and instead we all sit on pve servers and sign up for a pvp scenario and when a fixed number of players are in the queue a small map is generated and everyone spawns in naked and have to run around collecting gear and then make it like king of the hill (last person standing) or extraction based (have to defend the extraction point for a set ammount of time and maybe have to fight off waves of pve mobs and/or the players in the other team) And you either get to choose 1-2 items you found and used during that scenario or get some points system similar to marks that you can use to buy skins or anything non pay to win. Sort of a Tarkov vs Fortnite vs Wurm... in VR! I know that removing pvp servers is not realistic because deeds and history and pmk's but they should not be mutually exclusive at the end of the day. If anything ppl could convice their pve focused friends to sing up for some of these and then realise they like it and end up joining a kingdom on a pvp server. And would need some type of matchmaking to prevent lopsided teams.. one could be some kind of mmr so that if you keep winning you get placed in same team with people that are not doing so well? Or maybe characteristics and fs brackets? L.E. Maybe it does not have to be strictly pvp related either? You could have pve scenario's too where you have to find an avatar or a traitor mob firts while collecting gear fighting off pve mobs and maybe collect cluess as to where your goal could be and the first 3 people (or first 3 teams) to complete the objective could get similar marks to buy non pay to win stuff with? What would this accomplish? Add some dynamic to the monotone chill life of wurm and get to explore a random generated pristine world where you see only nature and none of the old persistent player impact of the players on the proper server maps while having the sense of urgency. Basically a change of pace! Who knows might even make skills like tracking worth grinding or even better get to grind that while playing the scenario and have it go up naturally. Could also be stuff like a map that also has ancient ruins you have to find thru cluess then archeologise them as a team then bring your fragments together and combine them to get like a treasure map type clue then go and dig up that chest to complete the map? Could we even get AI generated labirinths anyone?:) And the first 3 out also get a points reward or something? The world is our oyster guys!:) L.E.2 What has been the "dream" of every other larger MMO's out there? More specific of the playersbase? Player housing and terraforming right? Taht was supposed to complement the MMO part.What if i told you that Wurm, ironically, has the player housing, crafting and the terraforming but lacks alot of the MMO parts and this and stuff like gnoblin camps and holy sites could help develop towards that? L.E.3 Last edit i promise! What if we put a bit of cs:go in it too? You make a pvp scenario where half the players play as well players and the other half as the mobs or zombies or scenario specific mobs. And you have basically T vs CT and you win by killing the other team or the T have to build an altar in the CT base and the CT have to desecrate it.

I guess the compromise would be to give the wurmnode admin access to the data base and as such bamboozle him into becoming sort of a volunteer developer since would have to sign some type of user data confidenciality thingy and maybe integrate wurmnode into wurm forums and then dump all the site coding and admin on him and have the devs be free to enjoy the game in VR

I tested it and seems like is sort of fixed meaning that if i try to start archering the mob in 3rd person 2 times out of 3 it failed but if i start in 1rst person then zoom out then i can archer it regardless of where my horse is facing. Made a video for it, apologies for the beeping sound forgot to turn off my wurm assistant that is beeping to let me know the action queue is completed, was doing some tar digging
  23. Can archery get a similar fix or there are different issues with it? Atm when on horseback in 3rd person archery does not work even when facing the horse towards the target.
  24. They reduced the bonus in influence but not touching war bonus or acid pots i dont get it.

Except not all grps have the same capability or time to invest.. so rather than loging on 1-2h in wurm to pvp they have to make war bonus and once they are done getting it back up guess what is time for bed. Excellent mechanic crazy fun was had. I would have loved to hear your opinion if you had to pet 200 sheeps on the head each day in order to be able to breed 5 traits horses otherwise you have no breed buff you get 2.
