Imagine having your crate with dirt window open but can't take the dirt from it because the vehicle is now half a tile too far away:) Imagine going on an archeology rampage and not littering the place with fragments because now you can put them inside the vehicle following you. Could also make it that a special animal trait is needed in order to lead it while hitched to a vehicle to switch the meta to 60 AH but it might gate out new and casual players. Also could just make it that a new vehicle is needed, something between a large cart and a wagon but i would imagine alot of ppl with rare large carts or wagons would not like this solution.
  2. Hi! Can we please be given the option to lead animals that are hitched to carts and wagons? It should work the same as leading an unhitched animal and in order to have the vehicle follow you around you should need to lead all the hitched animals to it. So 2x for a cart and 4x for a wagon but nobody will cry if you just make it so that only one hitched animal need to be lead because i would imagine that would be more newbie friendly (no need for multiple ropes or halter rope) and would be easier to code? The reason for this request is that people could go around on foot, woodcutting or diggin or mining and lead the hitched animals to a cart or a wagon so that they can put the contents of their actions in the crates inside them. Also if you want to drop dirt could be helpfull do to it on foot while you lead the cart/wagon with the dirt inside and is following you around. It would be really nice not having to backtrack all the time to go get your vehicle then retrace your steps from pile to pile to decide what you are gonna put into crates. This way it would be easy: you cut mine or dig... look in the pile... get what you want in the vehicle crates and move along while the vehicle follows you around.
  3. Yeah i agree. I made a saddle rack, tried to store the saddles with bags in them, did not fit, put them back in the large storage thingy, saddle rack is sad now.

  7. Increasing natural favor regen is not the answer, for me the fix would be to let priests get favor for performing actions the are allowed and be able to choose the favor or the normal reward. As an example a libila priest can activate a picaxe and then mine a vein and get the shards right? What if you make it so that the same priest can activate their statuette instead and start mining the vein but gain favor instead of shards/lumps etc? This way can make statuette ql and enchants for it actually matter.
  8. Another solution would be to just have the terrain mapped by the server during the patch restarts, then check for mobs on high slopes and basically kill them off by changing their age to Dead. This way you free up the mob slots to respawn in different areas that were hunted clean. Can add uniquest and mission mobs to exceptions from this rule to avoid potential issues. This could be the best solution because then on servers down during patching there will be no lag for the player and if the server mob pop would be near the max the creatures killed by the slope rule will basically spawn on same slope area if is doing a density check but if some non sloped area have no density because of player hunting then they will get mobs respawning there. L.E. Once the slope check is made it would have to be another check to see if the tile is deeded to avoid killing people's deed mobs or maybe have a table of deeded and perimeter tiles that are excluded from the calculations in the first place.
  9. And that point being hitting 100 skill mark 🤣 Man i had 52 prayer on my priest when i went to Epic to get the 70 prayer to complete Benediction that i gathered in 1 year of Freedom play. On Epic, going from 52 to 70 prayers took me 2 weeks of 1h prayer spam each day.... that is a total of 14h. You come pray on Freedom for 14h and then have an opinion on wether or not Epic is easy mode skilling in comparison. Hmm how about imping gear? Can imp an item to 90ql on Epic faster than a 70ql on Freedom 😅 I dont doubt that skilling and gearing up on Epic is hard work, because it is, in comparison to Wurm Unlimited 20x servers 😶 In comparison to Freedom skilling system is easy mode. Now if you imagine the devs are gonna keep rolling new servers every month to keep the new players flowing while spending the same ammount of operating costs on 4x servers with 2 people on them instead of using those 4 servers over and over in order to achieve the same thing, i am affraid you might get surprised one of these days. Rolf if gone, no more Epic will stay on as long as one player still plays on it.
  10. The easy fix for that would be to have the mobs that trigger their roaming to check for mob density on 20 tiles area and if theres like more than 5 to ignore slope?\ L.E. And the way they implement that is use like the code of Humid Drizzle. A Fo priest casts that on a tile and then based on power of cast etc grooms the creatures around it and you get msg in even for each one of them right? like 4x4 tiles? So can just make the mob about to roam make a check for other mobs in local 5x5 tiles or whatever based on that code and decide if is gonna roam and ignore slope or roam respecting slope based on how many other mobs were detected in range of the check.

Hi I think the problem with people demanding more mobs while the server mobs count in the statistics is high is because mob after spawning start to roam but they ignore slope so they end up in hard to reach places by players so they are basically taking the animal slot until they die of old age. If you give mobs the same slope limitations as players then they might be concentrating in easier access areas. Sure could just let uniques or rift mobs ignore slope still just make the ones needed for fs grind have the same slope mechanic as players. What? That is not realistic? A mountain lion can climb higher slope than a human? Who cares, is a game:) Can you toggle climb irl while running from a spider twice your size?:)

  14. Gems in gear is something that is common in most MMO's. Guess the problem is how to find the balance to let them add good value to the item attached to make it worth doing it but not be a buff so strong that would shift the meta to gemmed gear only as people already need to get the high ql tools and mats and spend the time to imp a good weapon or a set of armor then have to cast it, rune it, imbue it, now will have to gem it too? I do agree that non priests should get some benefit from finding gems too other than be forced to sell them to priests so i guess letting them add gems to light sources to increase the power of the light coming from the light source could be a cool perk to have. Like if you have a glow ring of 50ql you could add a gem to it and make it glow like it would be a 60 or 70 ql. Another one could be to add gems to lamps to make them brighter. So someone can have lamps imped to 50+ by a blacksmith or make creating ql lamps and gem them to glow like 50+ql lamps. And the ql of the gem would affect the chance to attach the gem to the item similar to how rune ql affect the attachement chance. Another cool perk would be to be able to add gems to color runes to make them give the color they apply a glowy hue. Could also make it that if you have 50+ milling you can use a grindstone on gems to turn them into gem dust and use that dust with dyes to give them a pearly vibe.
  15. I would take Strongwall in pvpe for Libila over mycellium but i can see why people would preffer it as it would help the followers too. I think the problem is same as with Strongwall for Libila, mycellium is hard coded on pvp servers? So with Libila being Freedom they would have to add mycellium to Freedom template kingdom right? That could bork the white light templates and will make mycellium spread everywhere because on pve is only Freedom and it's influence will make Freedom mycellium eat everything? So either make HoTs template available in pve with a separate chat but common Trade with Freedom or they will have to overhaul how mycellium spreads and if at all. I think the issue here is not that people love mycellium but because they need it to get full benefit from their follower perks just like all other deities followers. But the problem with mycellium is that is static/limited, you have to sit on one to be able to benefit, while other deities followers just need to log in or be in their god's domain to get their perks. So the solution would be to remove mycellium and just give the libila follower perks pasivelly, like every other follower gets them. They already implemented corpse eating/healing on Freedom as a way to replace Absorbing mycellium why not just make all other mycellium standing based bonuses be up all time but at half the current str or just rework the libila followers bonuses completely so they dont have to sit on mycellium to get the benefit for half of them. If they are not willing to do that just follow the trend and replace in the code, for pve servers, mycellium with a corpse. In pvp can absorb mycellium to heal in pve can eat a corpse to heal. So make it that if you have a corpse on the tile you sit on then you get the food and nutrition buff? If you are tempted to say: wooa wooa overpowered! then let me just say that BL is happy to swap any of the follower's bonuses with Vyn's 10% xp 😍
  16. What if they add to all priests a spell called Magical Rod that they can use to fish with and everytime they catch a fish they get fishing and channeling skill too. This way you fix 2 things with 1 spell:) Just make crafterpriests So ppl could be just crafter or just priest for cheaper prem or can be a crafterpriest on same toon but the prem would be 50% more expensive to offset the premium numbers drop. Then do the Magical Rod channeling and fishing grind 😂
  17. Need to pull the plug on north every month, its broken and abused (linking priest exploits anyone? fight and shield skill exploits anyone?) so that people playing there dont have the chance to become too lazy and risk moving back to south 🤣

Ok so the people playing on Epic are demanding solutions to make new and old players want to play on the cluster but are shutting down any suggestion that would imply them losing their skills and gear obtained on easy mode compared to the other clusters. No wonder the devs just completely ignore them:)
  19. Why wipe 500 accounts when you can wipe 5 tho? Epic loss for you my friend. Do you actually think you can claim hard work for your epic skills in comparison to freedom?
  20. Are you doing it in 3rd person by any chance? If so the issue might be there you get alot more shield skill ticks if in 1st person because 3rd person is broken facing wise i think and shield skill and archery dont really work with it.
  21. By suggesting periodic server resets is implied that everyone would lose their character and stuff including myself no? If you are referring to the initial wipe in order to bring the skilling system down to par with freeedom i think a reward consisting in a permanent buff is okay since all the skills and items you gained playing on Epic were done while using a system that helped you get them alot faster and easier than the rest of the clusters.
  22. Since they removed demigods on Epic the place has gotten even less attractive for people to play on. What if they make it so that players can go there and do the missions they used to do in order to become a demigod but now at the end of it they unlock full priest powers and can be crafter priests with no restrictions on same toon but it would be active just on Epic?
  23. Gameplay is the action of the player playing the game:) By choosing an option that makes the game play itself and making decisions for the player you no longer have that do you? L.E. But allow me to humor you and say they decide they will add this feature to the game, so let's see how they could go about doing it: The ideea is to click your horse and choose Take Me Home right? Simple enough. So now they would have to calculate a route right? So they would have to load the topology of the entire server then start sweeping for the shortest path from the horse's position to the home deed that has a slope the horse can walk on right? But now Wurm is full terraforming right? So the path they calculate might prove to have changed along the way. So when the horse gets on the path that has a tile it cannot cross anymore because it got the slope modified has to stop and reload the topology again and plot a new route. Now what happends with player deeds on the way.. slope might be good but the deed owner might have fenced and closed gates so now have to stop load all the deeds on the server... load all the fences on those deeds... check if the gates on them are locked or not for the player riding the horse:) And that is just the land staff.. how would they check for mines and bridges? They would have to load those too into the calculations... load the mine doors if any check for access It would be a gigantic project that would take the team years of hard work that would also put a massive strain on the servers and basically end up killing both the devs and the servers:) All so that the player can be lazy and choose to plot a course back home instead of learning how to find their way home or know how to already but why not choose the path of least effort right? The only solution they can realisticaly implement is if they make the horse plot the course based on the highway system. But then is not what the OP wants right? They would have to find a highway and plot from there not from the spot they decided they want to go home from. So now if you already have to be on a highway why not just use the current system .. find a way back to deed and auto run:)
