    Figured it out

    Hello, Where does one put the updated .jar? I've tried in mods folder, wurmunlimited dir, main server dir. Don't seem to be working? searched logs for bounty, Find nothing in logs.

    Why do you think the server needs to be using more RAM??  The -Xmx parameter sets the maximum amount of "heap" memory allowed for use by the app, it's mainly for garbage collection in Java.  This is where variable values (among other things) are stored, it does NOT affect the max amount of total RAM the app can access.  The higher the value you provide here, the longer Java delays the garbage collection, and the more garbage it has to process when the limit is hit.  This can lead to noticeable periodic lag spikes.

    Ahh, ok. Was just getting low according to console. just wanted to allocate more before it ran out.

    I got it figured out, just had to disable settlement costs briefly. At first i tried this with GM account checked permanent but still said i didn't have coin for it.

    Question 2. Another problem i noticed that server is only using 2g of ram, i found older post about setting -Xmx higher in modlauncher.bat but that didn't not seem to do anything. Still at 2g and i restarted the server. I set it to 16g

    Got it Fixed!

    I'm guessing, according to logs its getting the pack. Then closing connection... but it's not adding the pack?

     

    Or connection is timing out before it gets the pack? To be able to add it? which would be strange cause i got all port necessary forwarded thru server and router.

     

    Totally baffled here. Never had this much trouble setting something up.

    Just noticed a connection time out error, but after that it receives the pack.. so not sure.

    You're essentially serving the map twice. The servermap mod will create a mapdump and automaticly create a pack with that map dump. Adding the infinity.jar pack will add a map for the same server again. You may wan't to try with either the servermap or myservermap mod.

     

    I should work nevertheless. Can you upload your map pack somewhere so I can look at it?

    The map pack file must be a zip file format (this is the same as jar), have mappings.txt in the top level folder and the resources relative to the top level folder. In you case that's both mappings.txt and map_Infinity.png in the top level folder.

    I've tried so many things that i've found on the forums, not sure whats right anymore lol. See the client was adding map_ part so i added it every where at one point. so then it became map_map_. which i thought was strange. gona up load to my google drive in a few mins.

    Hello, I'm new to WU i've seemed to have got most of this working but have seemed to run into a issue client side(I'm guessing).

    I have both the map and mappings in the .jar, so confused at this point. Been working on it for hours now lol

    Error

    Hello, New to WU and trying to Gen a new map for my server. Getting out of Memory Error in Java. I tried to create a .bat for xmx and xms but will only allow me to go to 2g max?

    Just noticed memory thing in bottom right* is there a reason it lock at .24?
