  1. https://www.wurmpedia.com/index.php/Animal_husbandry To prevent venerable animals from dying of old age they may be cared for. To care for an animal, stand next to it, right click, and select Care for. The animal will then live indefinitely at the "Venerable" stage.
  2. Confirmed and this is being looked into, thanks!
  3. I will need your local logs from that time frame as well
  4. Reproduced, thank you for your report!
  5. I see this was on deed. Could I get your event logs as well as the bottom portion of the logs where the hell horse was being attacked by the guard from that time frame? You are more than welcome to send them to me in a forum PM.
  6. Can you give me the name of the character and the settlement name? I can look at that for you. Server it is on as well. If you want, you can PM me here with the details if you don't want it publicly known
  7. I remember a time that there were deeds left without mayors and left to run through what upkeep was left. But now that you mention this, i do believe they might have changed it so when the account was deleted, the deed disbanded. Villagers wouldn't have been a factor, since you can't invite to the deed unless you have premium. Honestly the first I have seen of this one. I am not sure how long that provides protection tbh.
  8. Jaqa- Premium Account Expiry Tue Sep 20 21:58:41 CEST 2016 Sofala - Premium Account Expiry Sun May 08 18:43:53 CEST 2016 Yeve- Premium Account Expiry Sun Dec 16 16:22:56 CET 2018 So in all the system seems to be working as intended. Xan came out and with the introduction of deed stakes, it was always intended for non-prem characters to be able to place a deed, but they offered no protection against deletion if they didn't prem the account at least once. Otherwise, they would have to log in once within that 3 month timeline to ensure their account wasn't deleted. That also meant that it would leave any said deed without a mayor and a way to transfer said deed as it was tied to that particular character and would have no villagers (as nonprem accounts that have deeds cannot invite people to their village) to simply run out of upkeep unless someone else was feeding the coffers.
  9. In talking with Alectrys, she's classified this as a bug for now.. So remove catseyes and waystones before leveling if you think there might be an issue. As far as requests to change it go, I'd have to point you to the suggestions forum and if they deem it worthy of change, then they will look at it as well.
  10. If you anticipate the work taking more than 24-48hrs, yes.. Put the reroute in place FIRST.
  11. Honestly, the highway system was put into place to remove most of the GM's involvement. Only on a few cases have we ever placed a GM ruling and for that to happen, it's got to be pretty severe. As long as it is rerouted, catseyes connected back, whether permanently or temporarily, it should be fine.. With that being said... Like I mentioned before, if there are other players in your local, a friendly heads up and light discussion about it is always encouraged. In these cases, removing the catseyes, completing the leveling work and reconnecting is suggested. Even if something is by accident, if you know this will happen, you do not want to put yourself into a position of possibly abusing an exploit. Just because you CAN do something, doesn't necessarily mean you SHOULD. Hope that clears things up.
  12. Reroute is fine. Only requirements are what I listed above. If it is to be reconnected, I would advise not making more work for yourself. With new roads/permanent reroutes, talking to the community in the area is always a good thing. Honestly, slope for a highway must not exceed 20 straight or 14/14 diagonally.. I wouldn't use this as an alternative as it could be considered a bug. It is something that is being looked into though.
  13. Good rule of thumb if you are reworking a road that you need to temporarily remove catseyes from a highway- If the work is less than 24-48hrs: Don't worry about a reroute. If you are concerned there might be an issue, put up temp signs in the area. If the work will take longer than 48 hours, temporarily reroute the road to connect the catseyes so that wagoners and people may pass. After the work is complete, remove the reroute. Proper reroute- Any road you reroute is fine as long as the existing catseyes on either end line connect again.
