  1. GLSL shader

And even if I'm mistaken about the config option, there's still the working test client, no?
  2. Oh, wait, I understood what you mean - merchants don't need lower half animations. But couldn't you implement stuff like very long dresses by simply not giving the lower half any animations?
  3. Would robes really need that much work, then? Lower half is fixed in place, upper half can use existing tunic models, but retextured. Wouldn't retextures be a good solution for the lack of clothing in general? Especially for very obvious things, like the lack of dark blue clothing to match the cloth hood and pants color.
  4. Yes please! More outfits, and more color options! There's no clothing for nobility, only for peasants. Female options are lacking, too. And it would be nice to get more hats.
  5. GLSL shader

Any answer on this? Seems extremely easy to fix.
  6. GLSL shader

Sorry to necropost, but this is much more important now that GLSL is required for placing items. Seems outrageous to lock iMac users out of a feature that worked just fine before, with fix seemingly already existent in a test client! So far my client works with glsl_debug_loading on, so why not make that the default? The problem is that placing items doesn't recognize glsl_debug_loading as glsl, and actually turning glsl on crashes the client/makes it unusable. Perhaps there's a dirty hack to trick wurm into thinking that glsl is on, while actually using the working debug shaders?
  7. Nothing of that sort in my crash log, though, so that seems to be unrelated. Another person posted about the same issue today.
  8. It seems like I have the same issue, despite playing on Linux and having a Radeon card. Waiting for a fix?
  9. No, I am unable to use GLSL at all - it makes all tile textures disappear entirely and renders tiles invisible. However, for my friend, it just kills the framerate - my problem seems to be an iMac thing which hasn't been fixed since 2014. And, as I've said, other players not using GLSL are able to place items. Crashes started, weirdly, just as my friend joined the game. This update has worked fine previously, except for the item placement thing.
  10. My friend doesn't use Linux, and his adapters are in order in the log, so I don't see how that could be relevant to this crash in particular. Also, other oddity we both share: we can't place items, and the game says that we need to enable GLSL for that. However, other people not using GLSL can place items just fine. Another thing, unsure if it's the same for my friend: when dyeing items with wood and cloth separate (beds, armchairs, boats, etc), I can't see the dye on the cloth, and the dye on the wood covers the entire item. (Honestly, I'm just throwing things out there in hopes that at least one of those would be helpful)
  11. The crashes can make the game nearly unplayable. Sometimes it lets me play for a couple of hours, and other times it can crash almost every minute, or less than in a minute after log in. The same goes for my friend.
  12. Oh, i'm very sorry Will correct in a sec. when i get the crash again. Embarassing.
  13. Can't really figure out the reason. Seems like it's a rendering error. It started to crash around the time my friend started playing it both for him and me, with similar errors in crashlogs, and it crashes even while he's offline (i think that's probably just a coincidence, but better mention it than not). I use some mods (esp, livemap, custom actions, compass, toolbelt, tooltips, improved improve, also used custom renderer, but removing it didn't help), my friend doesn't. Playing on Revenant.
