Honestly, this is so frustrating. Every other skill I've worked with gets you some gain within a few minutes of grinding it. Meditation I have only 21.62 right now and since logging in today 1.5 hours ago have not gotten a single skill gain, going back and forth between two tiles ~20 tiles apart. What gives ? I am on the path of love level 6 and could be level 7 weeks ago if it wasn't for this 30 skill requirement

Can I place a tall iron fence / pallisade gate in an arched wall opening?

I think the way it worked was, you plan a house, lets say 2x5 and you build out the walls to complete the 1st floor. Then you complete the 2nd floor above. Then you knock down the walls below the middle section of this structure and you end up with the 2nd floor tiles floating over empty tiles where you knocked the walls down below. Does this still work? I would like to build a gatehouse where there is an empty gap between two sides that then connect above over the opening in between.

The line snaps, and the fish escapes! Ugh... getting so much of this today... went through 9 hooks now in just over 2 hours. And yesterday I was fishing for over 4 hours and only had 3 line snaps. Same waters (coastal tiles/no special tile)... same poles - except I imped the poles from low 40s to 50 before using today. Fishing skill is now 32. Why is this happening more often? It doesnt make sense to me... The only thing is the new fishing lines I restring with are lower QL than yesterday - does that really make a difference though? I was told the QL of lines dont matter when using for restringing broken poles? Any suggestions?

But it is at least possible to build a stone wall that connects to a corner of a house tile right? So it looks like the house wall and tall stone wall merge together?

Anyone have any success with this? I would like to have towers which are multi level mason houses which are integrated with tall stone walls to give a nice castle look. Does this work? Anyone have pics of their designs? Is it possible to have tall stone walls in place of a house wall? like the house tile is on the same one the tall stone wall is instead of next to it?

Anyone have good tips on quickly/easily raising paving past 20? Getting 20 was quick and easy with the 3x3 area just packing dirt / cultivating repeatedly using coc shovel. Once past 20 the gains dropped dramatically.
