  1. I would (personally) like to see leather/scale linked to Butchering Skill if this suggestion see's uniques no longer being so rare. It would give players a "reason" to skill their butchering (I personally have around 20 skill - so no biased here). This would keep some of the rarer things still considerably rare (especially at higher QL - if linked to tool QL/rarity when butchering. Such as higher skill = more chance to get scale/leather & more weight, and tool ql = more chance to get a higher ql yield & more weight. Not sure how this would tie in with the "rift reward system" being based on how much a player contributes to the kill, I would also make this "everyone can butcher a unique" - which kinda makes sense as they are pretty big so everyone can cut a bit up.
  2. Whilst I do like the idea, and I personally have never been face to face with a unique, I do ponder whether this could ruin the feeling that they are rare. If they come with a timer and everyone is waiting to get their share of dragonscale/bloods it doesn't feel like it was found in the wild, and there is little to no danger of riding out solo in the wilderness if the worst thing that can jump you is a troll. I have never been face to face with a rare, and I would like to one day, but not by "being at this location at 5pm GMT when it spawns" kind of thing. That just ruins it outright. I am not against your idea, I am just not sure if the implications of making it "too accessible" have been considered. We would see a whole load of bloods etc... crashing markets along with dragonscale which many have invested in, just to crash. As side from the markets, I feel having a timer on niarja for the next spawn will just ruin things in terms of how the game feels. I'd prefer a re-think for some middle ground, where they are still considered "rare" my personal inclination is to side with other suggestions linked to either local "noises" being made, to raise rumors in freedom chat, and get the hunters ready to go, but also some way of preventing them from being lured and kept for later. I previously suggested to link it to tracking but people didn't like the idea of high tracking skill "spawning" a unique, but perhaps giving clues to their location by looting their "officers" along the way. Personally, although I know it would require new implementation, I would urge for a system where the unique still has to be found, and is aggressive, but won't leave a certain area around its spawn location. Not quite the same as @Flubb 's idea, as I think they should be aggressive and kill the solo player trying his/her luck. I actually don't think this would be a difficult one, and would be welcome on all mobs too so they don't all climb to the peaks of mountains.
  3. To reply to the OP directly, There was a lot of criticism with regards to giving away the location of uniques, or spawning them through tracking. I personally would like to see the Uniques not included in the tracking suggestion, as it takes away their rarity, but I do like the idea of the roars in local chat occasionally. I would also suggest, in cases like the 5 year old black dragon, that these mobs should "age" like all others and just respawn if not found within a certain time limit? They could also go hungry and die to stop people hoarding them in a cave.
  4. Agree, it is more realistic than "Go lure it inside a cave and wait for my friends to log in"
  5. Also happened when I sat on my throne, my arms were spread like Jesus (Head Bobbing Turned Off)
  6. Was not expecting to see this on my login ^-^ (Work in Progress) Thank you for the honour Some very welcome updates, love the new graphics! Edit: Is this the Valrei or Vaelir international?
  7. I like all of these suggestions but a HUGE +1 to the specific ones above, diagonal fencing to match my paving would be a dream, as would moving my deed token.
  8. Have bought from Jola in past, even large quantity for knarr, trustworthy and fast
  9. Looks good! Thank you for your time
  10. It's a nice idea, but by the time you killed 2k Hellhounds you probably have the equipment to 1 shot them or near enough anyway. I have probably killed under 100 hellhounds and kill them with two swings of a Huge Axe at 73 FS. I would suggest this is a nice concept but only if creature difficulty is increase somewhat. You could make it a scale so every kill improves your ability to fight them by a very small 1/200% ? But then it will be hardly noticeable as an achievement as it won't be a goal like "I killed 2k now I am better" -1 from me as I think there are much more important things to prioritize, but I'm not against it if embedded within a larger change to PVE
  11. -1 Rares are Rare and should be used, if you don't want arch tools drop them where you find them. There are lots of trash items and such that archaeologists find in real if, not everything you find belongs in a museum or will be useful. That's just part of being realistic. If its not something you like don't bring it home, trash heap it. As for the rares with no real use, sell them or sac them, if you don't want to sac them sell them to someone who does. I do think rares should be storable in general, like in the magical chest, why they should be forced to be used before they decay unlike others is a strange concept, I can see why the devs wouldn't want people to stock pile, but if I was actually finding rare components for say a wagon I would like the option to keep them until I can make a full wagon out of rares. Having a craftable storage solution which maintains rarity is something I could get behind. My personal opinion - for what it's worth - is that items in Large Chests and Storage Units should not take decay on deed if upkeep is above 30days, and this should include rares. People who want to "stock pile" already do.
  12. Some deeds to add: New Deed: Lake Side: 6617 , -2050 (Mayor Tigerclaw) Port Squirrel: 6878, -1956 (Mayor Mimma) Kell: 6815, -1967 (Mayor Pearjade) Serenity Point: 6845, -1960 (Mayor Khador) Pluckyduckyville: 6952, -1954 (Mayor Axx) Change Coordinates: Waterside Ridge: 6655, -1989 Change Tunnel Name: S/W Tunnel (Canal / Tunnel / Knarrs only): Location is North East of Map (6741, -1930) As the tunnel doesn't go south, I would like this fixing to E/W Canal Tunnel (Knarrs Only). Alternatively I would like to suggest a name for the Lake West of this Tunnel, based on the local deed on the Island just west of the tunnel (Shimmergrove) Referring to the Lake as "Shimmer Lake" the tunnel would be referred to as: Shimmer Lake East Canal/Tunnel (Knarrs Only) I will be making "Shimmer Lake South Canal/Tunnel" in the near future to reach Summerholt.
  13. I think we have some stocked 88woa on the NEXA market, I'll ride out and check for you Not sure of the QL though...
  14. white dye

I dyed my Knarr white, was a rather expensive mistake! I was told it was a bug for 4-5 years so would be unlikely fixed soon +1 from me, although I imagine a lot of things would suddenly change white if it was implemented. (Many things which people would not have wanted, such as used on wood just to make them all match or lamps for brightness, rather than actually wanting white wood - such as my knarr).
  15. My latest pics of my deed, still in the making (mostly terraformed now, buildings in progress)... more to follow! 30+ pictures in the link below https://imgur.com/gallery/mdPoVFc
  16. My 3 story "Stablehouse" with Storage Attic Space
  17. As per title, paying 1s, will also pay 1s for delivery if you can bring to my deed (Lakeview - North of Summerholt, Xanadu NE coast)
  18. Mountain Naming?

For those who can't see the Elephant, you need to drink a little more like Dumbo, it is clearly there:
  19. Mountain Naming?

    Patience is a virtue
  20. Mountain Naming?

Pachyderm Peak has been nominated as a name by two local residents of the mountain range in the North East, we would like to see if this can be added to the community map ^-^ Pachyderm: noun a very large mammal with thick skin, especially an elephant, rhinoceros, or hippopotamus. Pachyderm Peak was chosen as we recognized the pattern of grass on the mountain depicting an elephant's head & extended leg. But wanted to find a way to make it more catchy than "Mount Elephant". Two local residents are myself (at Lakeview to the south), and Xzovy who is making his way up to the top of the mountain. (His path is work in progress to the SW). If this is acceptable please add the name to the community map, maybe name the tunnel Pachyderm Passage? @jackjones See images below Topologically it is rather fitting too:

  25. Note, this point also add to the "sandbox rule" that many seem to consider as law. If you want mobs to fight, you get mobs, if you don't then you don't.
