  1. Most of the Northern Highways need major re-works, guard towers, some slope leveling, been trying to get enough long term players and new players together to make this almost an Impalong. Would be fun to do so. Especially with wagons as mobile Construction Vehicles bringing forges and materials with. Build some temporary safe fence zones along the way as we progress so folks have safe place to work or retreat back to.

But also realistically abandoned stuff that was useful was carted off or put into use by new settlers and explorers, I play several other Medieval style games with partial PVP looting and and full on abandoned undeeded materials, etc is fair game and I don't see griefing or major complaints as there are enough crafters, harvesters, etc. I think we loose a ton of good players because almost every other game out there has a way better reward/looting/plunder whatever you want to call it and not to mention PVP system. You have to imagine it like this "Your team has been exploring this new land for days, looking for the right spot of land to found the new Village. Your only wagon has just broken a wheel and axle. A scout returns, telling of an old abandoned wagon from another expedition. It has what you need to fix your wagon. The scout describes the wagons condition as says its locked. A shady archer says the locks no problem. Or maybe the wagon has been there and the lock has decayed already and maybe the wheel and axle look good etc etc" Its about using imagination to make the game more fun, and I think we all forget 90% of the new players ARE USED to PVP and such, are used to partial looting, and being able to cart off everything not deeded or claimed. And I think we loose 80% of those players because the community here is too afraid of changes like this. If the community wont adapt and the Devs continue to not listen, WURM is doomed, and like others I will keep looking then till I find a game similar with what should be in the Game Mechanics.
  3. As slow as the decay is on ships and carts and wagons, as I stated above, they have Plenty of time to login and repair once in awhile.

  6. Still would like to see what the DEV team thinks of adding back in locks decaying off, especially as slow as carts. wagons, ships decay. Most of those folks are going to have plenty of time to login and check on things. Those who have truly quit their gear will decay, the lock will pop and maybe those of us who stayed loyal will have a little boon of retrieving an occasional ship, or PMK wagon, or a new player might stumble on some. I really think this should be a thing, MAKE WURM FUN. I keep feeling like a lot of player ideas are completely ignored and overlooked. If thats the way things are going to keep going, folks will just keep leaving. That is why we have suggestions and the Forums. Other games have semi to full loot and players are staying I just started playing Gloria Victis, it has PVP and Looting, got some items looted, meh, my Guild quickly re-supplied me and on our way and we took the Keep. WURM has plenty of good crafters but WURM is so heavily crafting based it pleads to have more non-craft to do as PVP has died, Jackal is still hmmmhmm, Rifts are seeing so few players they take forever to finish.
  7. I do agree with new players keeping gear on death till 21BC, i anguish when i see them get killed over and over trying to recover their body from Mobs they have no chance in hell against.
  8. ya but still sucks when building a ship and you get a MOI and the piece attaches and no rare. Especially if 20-30 times this happens and still no rare ship, wagon, cart, mainly ship though. Sucks monkey cashews when it doesn't rare.

  11. Cool prices are sounding good on the Panda PMK wagon. Will let you know in a few days, waiting to see who all quits and stays. So far Dwarven Imperium Alliance seems full and active minus the few out with computer issues or on business trips.
  12. Quitting WURM? Might come back some day? Looking to buy PMK Wagons and rare or better ships, perhaps we can make a deal on these items.
  13. Approaching this subject again, heck Yes I am. I would like to see locks fall of at 75 damage on all the abandoned crap laying around the servers, carts, wagons, boats. I am not the only one that wishes to see this either. Everywhere you go there is old abandoned crap, looks like a junkyard in places. Make the game fun where we can occasionally find a little reward exploring, or waiting for a lock to fall of and be the first there to claim a new prize. I know people say "Oh they may return someday" and all that and such. Well they better return before their stuff hits 75 damage then, or make a "Public Parking Garage" as has been suggested before. Granted there are a lot of rare ships and PMK stuff mainly wagons, and some people might build a hut over them to lay claim, so make that a punishable offense on items like carts, wagons. Off deed source fountains too. MAKE WURM FUN SOME MORE haha
  14. Not really sure how I feel about this. I have never done RMT though I could, I prefer to spend my shiny clinky coins on goodies and deed upkeep. So I guess I am fine with it, cause well WURM was honest about the chance to make some real money unlike Planet Calypso which is a joke and a bunch of asshat liars over there. On the Traders, ya they can be fun when you randomly check one and find they have a handful of copper or even a few times some silver. But the other day I heard about a toon that was just logging in to drain the 4 traders on pristine from a friend who is over there. So I am kinda glad maybe they are going away. Maybe there will be more coin in foraging and burying corpses and killing creatures. That to me would seem to be more fair to new players getting the random MOI rare coins and the rest of us. So I guess ya I am good with Traders going to a deed bonus only if I understand that right. Usually people sold them junk anyways that would always sit there, and believe me trying to sell spider eyes to clean out junk is a pain in the butt.

  16. Why wont you Game Developers Listen to what WE the Players want and are asking for? People want the PVP fixed. People have asked for Taxidermy. A few have asked for locks to decay off deed to clean up all the abandoned crap, let us loot this crap or make underground parking garages at Spawn Deeds for this crap to be stored. Tomes, never had one yet but if they make PVP crazy unbalanced then re-work them. Your driving folks away. New God change and Player Gods going away. Would have been easier just to change the God names and work them into WURM Pantheon and everyone would be happy. Veggie favor thing, well baby Priest here so not sure how that is going to affect me but seeing how Virusmd hosts awesome Impalong's and his huge investment I see the change hugely unfair. Your Killing the Game Dammit.

  18. The ability to earn silvers for deed upkeep is a good incentive to attract new players to the Steam server and being able to once in awhile pay for Premium that way too is nice. Perhaps introduce some new MOI ways to earn a rare coin or maybe even add them to the archaeology random frag algorithm. I do see the point where an alt Trader Drainer ruins the trader by selling useless junk that sits there and never goes away.
  19. I disagree in my opinion, Traders are nice to have and if just at Starter Spawns where nobody can build them in with a hut or put a deed over them, they work fine and first come first serve. Same with source springs and fountains, just make it illegal to wall, fence, or small hut them off from everyone else. At least the above ground ones, and not be able to deed over these. I'm sure there is some way to code that in where you can't deed with in a 5x5 area near them. Now if somebody is mining and happens upon one on their deed that would be different I think. Canals and tunnels that hit source I think should also be first come first serve unless under a existing deed. Anyone caught fencing them off should get banned. Though I do agree, I hate it when somebody fences one off and blocks everyone from using it. Especially when they do a building and you can't bash it down. I know of several that if we could bash the buildings down, I would do so in a heart beat.
  20. I have 80 fight skill now and without LT I cant think of the hundreds of times i would have died, LT is handy, I can fight several spiders when harvesting and live. For new players I am sure it is invaluable, especially remembering how many times hell hounds killed me as a new player. I am not understanding why you are having an issue with LT. Have you tried Rifts, Jackal for more challenge? Try fighting a champ troll without LT and tell me how long you last. I screamed and ran to a guard tower haha.
  21. would like to see more unique rift loot we can buy, helms, heraldic shields, weapon skins, maybe armor skins, potions, fragments of new statues or some such
  22. I have to ask, are your Merchants on deed when they go inactive? Does your deed upkeep expire and deed disband? I have a merchant at a designated Trade town and don't have any problem with items decaying and my merchant stays active even if I take a break, granted I think my longest break has been between 2-3 months. My deed has not disbanded as I usually keep 6 months or more upkeep on it. I am guessing your deed went inactive and disbanded and that would cause a merchant to pack up and the items be sent to the mailbox in a pack where I do believe they take damage if not picked up in I believe 14 days?
