  1. Original creative maps have white and black light altars.  Both mods will work together. Also a single player can survive and thrive as a non priest. I did it for a year+ in WO. All my coin went to deed upkeep never bought anything or sold anything to other players.


  2. Titans only naturally spawn on a pvp server. No new commands. You can GM spawn on pve, careful tho they can destroy fences, buildings,  mine doors.


  3. We will be adding a hunting/survival server very soon to offload some of our new creature types and increase performance of our main server while still giving everyone the opportunity to fight the new mob types.

    Small update today

    • Creature update
      • All custom mounts should now be groomable
      • All vanity pets should now be groomable
      • Vanity pets should now be dominatable
      • Lizard King and Gorilla King removed-They were bugged and incomplete. Will readd at a later time.
      • All tier 2 mobs removed. 
        • Tier 2 will not be part of the main server. Anticipate using another cluster to facilitate higher tier content
      • Added new mobs to facilitate a single person mini dungeon to be released at a later date.
    • Item Update
      • Butcher Knife can now be made from moonmetals
      • Sacrifical Knife can now be made from moonmetals
      • Create Sand by using a large maul on sandstone. Uses Body Strength
      • Create Dirt by using a large maul on rock shards. Uses Body Strength
      • Create Sandstone by using your hand on sand. Uses Body Control
      • Create Planks by using a mallet on woodscraps. Uses Body Control
    • New Mod
      • To help facilitate raffles a new roll mod was created. Thanks Coldie
      • Command is roll with the number of Players then the number of items to be raffled. 
        • example /roll 50 10. 50 players with 10 items to give away. 
          • [10:19:49] Yggdrasil people: 50 rolls:10 (23,16,9,26,34,15,31,19,18,47)
        • It does the whole raffle in one roll with no duplicates. When it is rolling the numbers if it rolls the same number again it is thrown out and rolls again. 
        • Limitations
          • Number of players must be higher then total number of items being raffled. 
          • Max of 50 items for raffle. 
    • Vampire Mod Removal
      • The vampire mod was finally removed completely from the database. 
        • Side-effect: Cooking affinities shifted due to the vampire skills being removed. So previously known cooking affinities may be incorrect.
    • Channeling Improvement
      • Bless cost reduced to 5 faith to allow all religions at 5 faith spell to level channeling with.
    • Bounty on custom mobs
      • Reduced bounty for custom mobs.

  5. As much as I like Sin's work, and thanks for breaking it up for community the ESP blocker works but even small servers will see significant performance issues when active if more then a couple players are online.  So use that portion with caution. 


  6. Server Update

     

    • Vanity Pets
      • This is being released as BETA version of vanity pets. We hope to make them useful and easier to transport but for now they are just collectible, low spawn chance, creatures to go around and collect. What sets them apart from the rest? They are non aggro, they dont hit very hard, if at all, and they are tiny pets to collect. 
      • They must be tamed/charmed/dominated to be able to lead them. They have 1 body str so hitching really isnt an option at all, intentionally. There is currently 39 different onces to catch in the wild and another 3 that will be GM spawn only.The GM spawn only ones will be rewarded for certain things, yet to be determined.
        • To keep the rarity of these pets they are not breed able, unless they Jurassic Park my code that makes them all female. 

     

    • Damage Readout(Thanks Coldie)
      • Combat log will now print out the actual damage done and damage per second when you use command  /DPS.
      • New Damage test mobs will be placed in Life Spring. They will be placed near the practice dummies. You can test how much damage you would do on a dragon, a hatchling, and a troll. You cannot kill these dummies but they will give an accurate readout of how much damage you can do to these creatures.
        • These are for damage testing and comparison only. Anyone using these for training weapon skills will be punished.

     

    • All custom mounts and hitchable animals added in game have been changed to herbivores and grazers. This will allow you to easily use them in any situation without needing to worry about them eating a corpse or constant feeding. I did not make this change to vanilla mobs.

     

    • Kari's Fortress mobs and items tweaked a bit. Hopefully we will be ready for release of the last tier 1 dungeon this weekend.

     

    • Two New Uniques added. Base stats are slightly less difficult than a Red Dragon, however they will always spawn as Champion.
      • Lizard King: King of the alien like deathcrawlers. Avoid his acid breath and his sharp claws if you expect to defeat him.
      • Gorilla King: King of all gorillas, he is tired of the players of Wonders enslaving his brethren. Avoid his might fist and earthshaking abilities.

     

    • Kingdom Tabard mod loaded. You need client serverpacks up and running to be able to see the new tabards. But most if not all kingdom tabards will be craftable. 

     

    Loot tables will be updated slightly.

    Tier 2 weapon tweaked again. Still trying to keep a balance between them and the tier below.

    Serverpack settings modified, seems i was using an outdated config which was causing issues.

    Kingdom Tabard mod loaded. You need client serverpacks up and running to be able to see the new tabards. But most if not all kingdom tabards will be craftable. 


  7. I did it a while back. Believe I had to copy economy dB over and player db. There were quiet a bit of editing on player db but can't remember the specifics that had to be changed. Like previously noted make backups and expect hiccups. I recall doing quiet a few manual entries to correct issues.

  9. You might have seen the jotunns roaming around the lands, pillaging deeds and killing your livestock.
    Where do such terrifying creatures come from? The great fire giant Logi has sent out his army of giants to pillage the lands for food and treasures!
    The king of Wonders has seen enough of this pillaging and wants to put an end to it! He now calls upon warriors from throughout the land to challenge the giants and put an end to the kingdom's misery.

  10. Setting so only low skilled players or low playtime character get paid, IMO won't do anything unless you make it so one character per steam ID can login. Players would just login a no skilled alt in first then log on a main. It would be abused easily without a lot of GM intervention. Even is based on playtime it can easily be bypassed. Seems like a lot of effort for minimal impact.


  11.  I have not dug through the epic code yet, wish I could help you. But if you want to modify it yourself you are going to have to look at the epic code, the creature template for Sol Demons has no tile spawns so dont waste your time on that code. It will likely be easiest to just disable sol demon spawning with epic vice setting a number cap on it, but that is just a guess without digging through the code right now.


  12. Our original dungeon was in need of a major overhaul and needed some new dungeon love. So all new custom mobs created for the prison, dungeon currency system applied, new loot tables created for align with our new dungeons, and its own custom armor. New armor Ringmail created. DR falls between chain and plate and currently can only be found in our lower level dungeons. Dungeon Details can be found in the spoiler including loot list and dungeon merchant list. We will be releasing a new high level 70+ FS dungeon, Andvari's Hall soon to align with other tier 1 content we are creating. Hopefully later next week we will release a new 50FS+ dungeon to get newer players gear to face the tier 1 dungeons. The final tier 1 dungeon will be released around thanksgiving.

    Prison of Life Spring

    There have been rumors going around the the prison is out of control. The Deputy Warden and Guard Captain overthrew the warden and are planning to build an army of prisoners. There ultimate target is to take over our great city of Life Spring. 

    This dungeon is a small/medium dungeon one player in a dungeon party should speak with the Warden at the entrance to get started. Only one player or you will face 2x the challenge. This dungeon is meant for new players at 25+ FS with basic gear. It can be accessed via a portal or you can run to it. It is just west of Life Spring.


    Loot is dropped randomly from all mobs in the dungeon. Also everyone gets prison coins for each mob they attack and kill. This currency can be used at the prison coin merchant at the start of the dungeon to purchase gear.

    Shovel/Pickaxe
    Healing clovers
    a Healer
    20 Fighting skill or higher


    This Dungeon is now open an free to run through recommend running with a group.

    Non-rare Armor will drop off the mobs in the dungeon. The weapons can drop off of the bosses.
    The armor is Ringmail armor, with damage reduction between chain and plate and made out of steel.

     


  13. I've considered doing this be cause it's already possible to tag a vehicle someone is on and summon, everything including drivers is summoned. However it is rarely done smoothly, a good deal of the time the client needs to relog. You can prop just add an if in the port code to say if on vehicle target the vehicle port instead otherwise action as normal. If I wasn't working a huge list right now I might work it, but still question the stability of the port that way.  There is a server that claims they have this, never jumped on to check it out.


  14. I believe after this update we can easily state we have the most mob variety out there. The main part of our update was adding new mobs to go with the themes of our dungeons. We are currently running a little over 50 custom mob types on the server ranging from 15FS to mobs that are made for 3 person experienced groups. We will soon be releasing a 20-30 FS Dungeon, a 50 FS Dungeon, and another 70+ FS dungeon. Do you have a desire for adventure come on over to Wonders. Todays Update Notes listed below.

     

    Dungeon Mod was updated so I can easily reconfig on the fly. Thanks Coldie. 

    Karma Update: Everyone will get 10 karma every 10 minutes while logged in on Wonders. This will allow players to more easily access skills like Summon Corpse, Village teleport, and tome skills.

    New Hitchable creatures: Gorilla, Hyena, and Rock Crawlers. They are hostile but leadable just like hell horses. They are not really special, decent speed, cant equip items, and cant mount them.

    World Currency: Fixed lurking mobs so they dont give 250 coins anymore. Rolled everyone back to a maximum of 500 coins. 

    New World Mobs: Most are based off current or soon to come dungeons. Rough estimate of needed FS for them.

    The mobs with 70+ rating provides a World Coin value the same as Freyja's Spider and other named mobs. Currently working 
    on loottables for all the new world mobs and dungeon mobs. 
    In total I added 34 new custom mobs to help us theme and setup the dungeons we are working on. 
    
    The new custom mobs range from 25-90FS mobs. This allows us to provide a unique experience for all skill levels of players.
    
    We have new dungeons coming very soon. We will do one more reset before release but this will allow my staff to fully test the
    mobs in the dungeon enviroment before release so we hopefully wont need to redo anything after release. 
    
    Hlesey dungeon mobs have been slightly updated.
    
    Tweaked the colored drake mounts speed somewhat for mounted and hitched.
