  1. Also be sure the character doing the sacrifice is a member of the deed. Otherwise it will have no impact, except to the deed they are a citizen of.
  2. This one is iron. Here's the little baby version.
  3. Over a year later, and still we suffer. There is no keybind for clean (furnace)
  4. You don't need to "defend" yourself on a PVE server. If you want to play without neighbors, try Wurm Unlimited.
  5. I noticed today when trying to update permissions on a door that people I've assigned to "Trusted" have dropped back to other again as well as a few friends are missing since server restart, including ones I had set as trusted a couple of days ago. I have not crossed servers.
  6. I can confirm I have had this bug to a lesser extent since late September. I know the date because the friend impacted was Aaedean, and we'd spoken about it. He could see me, but I couldn't see him anymore. I'm sure server crossings were involved, but I could not say which server I would have been hopping to from Xanadu. I am unsure of other names that might have been impacted.
  7. It's been a bit since this got some eyes on it, so giving it a nudge. I'd love something to do with papyrusmaking or books, especially for my library ❤️
  8. Fireworks displayed in a building on a table with permissions blocked on deed were able to be fired off by a player without perms, simply by the mechanism of lighting them with steel and flint. They managed to fire off an entire box without having to worry about silly things like ownership or perms. For an uncommon item, there should be some sort of way to have these out without worrying about any random person running around with their deathkept starter flint and destroying property in such a manner.
  9. Bump as it has been more than a month and not acknowledged. Confirmed these are not tagged as decorations.
  10. The flames are now showing, but they are not in the right place to align with the candles. This might be part of the issue with people not seeing them.
  11. Vendor spaces are filling up quickly. Please contact myself or Spacy if you are interested in a vendor space.
  12. There was a rare book included with the New Year's chests this year called a Fairytales. It it not able to be imped (at 99ql you wouldn't expect to need to) but it seems like it would take damage if displayed like a normal book. Could this be fixed to either code these as a decoration that takes no damage, or correct them to be able to be re-improved after decay ticks happen?
  13. So long

Sad to lose you, Capi. I wish you all of the best in your future endeavors and bigger and better opportunities.
  14. We don't require anyone to sign up for specific imping stations, but if you want to mention that you'll be working in a specific area then folks may be more inclined to bring activities for you, particularly if you're at 90+ in that skill.
  15. RIP Aaedean

I've been at a loss for what to say. So many grinds at an end. Such a lovely person that I will miss so much. The past two months haven't been the same just waiting and hoping that he'd come back, but now he'll never light that forge again. I have so many memories and souvenirs of whatever crazy fun scheme he had in mind. There's a pile of rather high quality royal thrones on my deed, all flanked with mountain lion rugs because the darn things just would not go rare. From the time we met years ago there was hardly a day that didn't involve a lovely chat, a rant about seals, a crazy scheme, or link after link from youtube. He enabled my avoidance of smithing (it really is the worst) and I enabled his obsession with smithing (Seriously, how did you tolerate it???). I know he fought hard. The game is missing so much without him here.
  16. It's time for an update to inscribing. As it is now, the maximum characters that can be inscribed on a papyrus is somewhere around 400 (Rare 99ql reed pen, 100ql paper, 100ql ink with the +100 for ink vs dye), but there are severe limitations on those characters. I realize for the protection of code that some characters will be forbidden from inscription, however there are parts of natural language progression that we need some things, like the ability to make a paragraph break with the (OMG) enter key without it just accepting we're done with our message when we hit enter but instead moving the cursor to the next line. While we're looking at inscribed paper & papyrus, can we make it more visually interesting to read? Previously dyes as ink allowed for colored text. But it just looks like a sad little text box with a signature at the bottom. This is sad looking and not inspiring great libraries of Wurmian lore to be written. What if instead we had this: Okay my text leaves a bit to be desired with the weird outline but you get the idea... interesting pages instead of stark boring boxes. We can place inscribed pages into books making whole stories and collections of poems, but the constraints of the current system make the books a bit lackluster and inconvenient to read. Can we make better inscribed papers? Better books? Glorious Libraries???!??!
  17. Yeah different material type. Thinking the download corrupted (hoping) will repost if redownloading doesn't fix it. My regular "well" looks normal.
  18. Even after redownloading the game and patch it's a sack.
  19. After testing I have found that it is lead animals, not animals being ridden. The creature continues to be lead after falling at the bridge terminus until something else breaks the lead, so if a ramp into a building, the creature will continue to follow as lead until hitting a wall that obstructs the leading. This happens at all terminus points including bridge to building and bridge to tile. Confirmed that flooring type does not prevent the creature from dropping below the bridge. It almost seems like an escalation of the visual bug of passengers in wagons/carts "dropping" through the bridge before continuing on as normal along the path when reaching a bridge end. For the moment this can be overcome in two inconvenient ways: Either ride the creature across the bridge, or if not a mount-type creature, they must be loaded into a creature cage and brought to the other side.
  20. Yes please! We want options for more color in fun and expected ways!
  21. Changing the material of a single item that fits in inventory vs an entire vein of 10k utmost quality ore... Not sure that it should be more than a transmutation rod.
  22. I propose a single use item that can be purchased from the Silver shop for 5 silver that would allow you to change the base material of an object to another similar material. In many cases this would be most useful on Archaeology finds, but there's some rares that would be more loved if they were a different material/wood. Examples would include : turning a rare birchwood spindle into an rare oakwood spindle Convert a zinc carving knife with 4 runes into a steel carving knife with 4 runes And potentially.... Turning a pottery roasting pan into a clay roasting pan... Thus allowing it to be improved, then re-fired.
