  1. rare windows don't activate during timers, they activate when the action is sent, the length of the action is irrelevant to activating rare windows. if a rare window opens in the middle of an imp, that imp won't activate the rare window, nor will any actions queued up, the next action sent will, which with imping is often going to be a repair action after you damage imping a large portion of the time.

     

    I've done 1-95 in a skill without getting a single rare window because i was imping something i didn't care about and repairing before each imp and that's a lot more than what you did, and i've fully rared/two supreme piece'd an entire scale set in a week because i used an alt to repair inbetween imps and made sure not to do anything that could waste any rare windows. It's just a horribly implemented system

    my assumption is that you're repairing than imping which basically removes any rare chance due to how the game handles rare windows (the rarity is used by the first action started during the 20-30 second window, repairing combining anything like that will use the rarity window with no indication). improve then instantly queue up a repair instead and you won't be wasting rare windows


  3. we need more things to have demolish buttons, like mine doors, dirt walls and forges. if i leave a deed it's my god given right to be able to blow up the dirt wall i made remotely

     

    if on-deed mine doors revert to deed ownership when that person leaves the kingdom it only makes sense that on-deed buildings should revert to mayor ownership/deed managed instead


  4. An evil presence has been looming over celebration ever since the introduction of holy sites, where one fatal mistake was made. Cows were not restricted from these holy sites! They've gazed into the Akashic mirror, chug jugged with you at the wellspring of knowledge, gotten glock fragments from the glowing fissure, and worst of all, reset their milking time at the fo one!

  5. Another dumb thing that has happened in a few different recent pve changes like the mob spawn changes that made these spawn hostile all over the map

    kingdom mobs are naturally hostile on pvp and any ones that spawn at holy sites are also hostile you cant even enjoy your champion harambes at holy sites without them beating your alts to death (if they actually stay alive long enough to attack them). should be neutral like on freedom or just not spawn

    the fresh start was almost 3 years ago now, it's not exactly fresh anymore, unless you're advocating for another server?


  7. when holy sites spawn things that die at a young age (kingdom mobs, chickens, hell hounds etc) it can pick ages over their maximum and they just explode immediately, wasting a spawn spot from the holy site

Holy sites are supposed to be pseudo-pvp incentives? i guess. you can't use enemy god altars or get their pulse effects, you can blow them up for no reason other than blowing them up and it's just all around better due to how badly interacting with the actual sites meshes with pvp-paranoia is to cross to freedom and ask to be summoned to a holy site because it's slightly harder to randomly die from enemy players there

     

    Pulses - On a pvp server, these may as well not exist. Random times each hour means you have to afk inside the holy site for extended times and that's just a straight up bad idea on pvp, especially considering everyone on the server knows where the holy sites are. You don't get the rewards while in a cave (idk if thats a bug) or stealthed so if you want to do it long term your option is to drop the holy site ql so it's only 3-4 tiles big, dirtwall+longhouse around it so you can't get archered and then up the ql. the enemy won't be able to dig down the dirt wall or mine into a tunnel entrance because it's now in the holy site, which is comical. This also basically only works if you're the powerhouse of the server and can get people to where you are before enemies can bash/wrath a house down

     

    Change suggestion - Make it so pulses can be saved up, depending on prayer skill. 1 at 10, 2 at 30, 3 at 50 etc. Each 20-minute delay prayer at a holy site can activate a pulse effect for yourself. Only recharges if you're logged into that specific server when the pulse activates, but not inside any holy site to prevent server hopping or staying at another gods holy site to collect multiple. Gives prayer skill some usefulness for everyone.

    Would not be opposed to this one also being implemented on freedom, but they don't have as much of an issue with randomly dying and losing your gear when afking outdoors for long periods so not as necessary there.

    Alternatively, make gates doors and mine doors near the holy site work as if they're on deed, not unlocking for enemies so it's reasonable to make them raidable/defendable positions if you want people to afk off-deed for extended periods of time

     

    Locate holy sites - This shouldn't be a thing on pvp, or the radius should be MUCH larger (Perhaps just say West, North, South-west like hota camps do). If it's not in a place where you can make use of it, activating it just tells enemies where they can benefit from it. Currently it's d8fc7e6fa8dafdcd0bd219e224cc7349.png 

    which is like a local wide and if anyones there you can pendulum them from anywhere inside that blue circle

     

    Desecrating altars - Currently there's 0 reason to do it, you activate the altar for your enemies to find instantly, it's better to just leave it and let it decay naturally so they don't benefit from it as desecrating the altar takes a long time (and funny enough you destroy an altar faster by praying on it without purifying it). You also can't deny enemy kingdoms altars if they're the same light as you (so entirety of chaos, 2/3 kingdoms of every other pvp server) outside of the pray thing just mentioned

     

    Changes - Make it so you can desecrate same light altars

    Desecrating should give the extra faith that praying does and either give the rewards that the altar gives, or give a random one of your own gods rewards.

    Desecrating shouldn't reveal the altar to enemy kingdoms until it's >50 damage

    Destroying should give similar reward to your own god that finishing the holy site gives (global spell power all that stuff)

     

    Freedom restrictions on pvp - holy sites have a bunch of terraforming restrictions for "and are meant to be accessed and used by the public" but that makes 0 sense on pvp. terraforming freely should be allowed in there, it's super easy to game with intentionally letting altar ql drop and then raising ql to prevent changing what you terraformed/built.

    judging by the one we did on chaos (that we cleared every single other mob in local in case that prevented spawns) having nothing i would say no, they're probably pre-patch because it got worse after that

When you're under a holy site (can't mine floors, walls etc) you get no pulse rewards or other holy site bonuses even though you're inside the holy site. seeing as it blocks actions even no there's not really a way to block holy site access via mining under it, it should probably count or just have no mining restrictions


  12. in hindsight spawning every site on every server was probably a mistake, people are spread far too thin and even a single gods followers are halved between the sites on the server. will probably be better when theres only 1 or 2 holy sites of a god on a server cluster at a time.

     

    quite frankly the time to reward for improving a holy site is dreadful, spending hours fixing up a holy site just for a minute extra sb or whatever is laughable. praying and sermoning should not increase corruption and exorcism should actually increase the amt cleansed (seems to be bugged atm skill does nothing)

     

    also a completely dead feature on pvp, you cant afk there for rewards/pray/cleanses but thats whatever nobody was gonna do them on pvp anyway idk why you bothered doing pvp specific penalties just to make it worse than freedom version lol

    looking at WU cake and cake slices have the same decay time ( 172800) as basically all butchered products, meat, and a couple of other cooking recipes. those things decay in a few days off deed so 2 1/2 months in a larder sounds about right unless there's some reason they shouldn't be decaying?

    starter islands with their 2h raid windows are a super abusable mistake but if you add penalties for them people will just play on freedom instead. you're already penalized by being on a pvp server and having to take precautions for everything (and that includes being on the winning side too) making it worse won't help, incentives to be off the starter islands is better.

     

    reputation system never had a place on a pvp server and it still doesn't. there's already a system for this, if someone is causing harm to your kingdom you kill them. years of the current reputation system doing absolutely nothing to stop inter-kingdom pvp, creating unnecessary GM work and actively breaking pvp occasionally should have shown this lol

     

     

    all in all just seems like ignoring the root of problems and doing the most barebone changes to look like there's something happening. guess i'll go dig tar while playing other games with my ex-pvp friends for another two years and hope there's an actual change in the 2025 pvp update (singular)
