  1. I had to reinstall Wurm and now do not have legacy as an option. It is grayed out and I do not see where it can be changed in settings. I am sad, as I really loved this mod and hope it gets a fix soon.
  2. I started on this server last night and so far it is nothing but pleasant, and what one might expect from a brand new world with a starter town being built and people getting to know each other. If I do not stay on this server, it will be due to me not wanting to start over again and playing on 2 servers, not anything wrong about the new Community of friendly folks I found there. Grim is a moderately paced, moderate grind server that is brand new and fresh and waiting for those who like that. I traveled a LOT of the map and found the signs of handmaking on the mountainous areas and I appreciated finding them a challenge but passable. It has all the pleasant mods and few rules, beyond being nice to others. Another detail I like about it is the beaches are realistic and flatter, like real world, not overlooked by map makers and often at silly angles. There is a good assortment of trees and my only complaint was I wished I had spawned with a sickle so I could have taken a few starts of them as I roamed the map checking it out. Come check it out. It bodes to be a good choice for players who do not have hours daily to invest but still hope to play and have fun when they can relax for a few hours with their village. It is a pretty map, very new, fewer mobs right now so you can get out to remote spots with less danger and enjoy a good ride. My wild horse was just fast enough to keep the mobs behind me and I liked that too!
  3. Just came back to the game after a break and opted on making a deed here, and it was the best decision I have made in a long time. It is an old server, well established for years now, owned by a WO developer and just like WO servers it has a long time core of players who know each other and have played together for years also. You can find those amazing, massive deeds here, and sprawling ruins decaying of past dreams, but also miles of never played land and great locations as well. Ausimus aims for one thing - to make the game fun to play. He succeeds. The GMs here have been here as long-term players as well, and they are promoted because they also aim to make it fun. It is a fun server, with friendly people, always an answer to your question, and the occasional surprise event, sometimes with no warning at all. I made a few gold as a noobie on one of those events within a few minutes, just like that. A GM had noticed there were several new players on the server so ran it as a flash event to give us all a treat and some money for the merchants! How neat is that? There is a different event going on now, just as easy for anyone to play if they care to put the time in. 100 golds or an adamantium infuser!!! Easy enough for a noob to compete in, too! Two more days so hurry hurry! You can fulfill all your Wurm goals and dreams on Calysto, with an active group on a beautiful server, so come on in and check it out - or come back if you took a break for a while. If you are a loner, you can be alone, or play and chat as much as you like most times of day, there is nearly always someone online. Nothing to argue with in that.
  4. OK found the issue. On a whim I did a search for the filename and realized it is in two places. So I deleted both then reinstalled and voila, works fine again. As usual, client error thank you for the help. I must have been REALLY tired when I did the last update before it broke on me!
  5. I validated again after reading this, reinstalled esp and modloader, patched it and nothing has changed. It crashes. This is about the fifth time I have tried this hoping to find out what has changed. Unless there is a newer version than the links here, I don't know what else to do.
  6. Not sure if this is the right place to post I have used ESP mod for some time with no issues but it suddenly now crashes upon activating x-ray in the mines. There is also duplicates on other returns but I actually rarely use this but in my mine sometimes. I have validated, reinstalled, done everything I know, including java. Any idea what else I can check please? I was the first poster responding to this thread and made the first player created deed, Kazbah, which remains there with a great ocean view I waste far too much game time standing on the shoreline watching the whales and sea serpents on a good day for them. I have a few neighbors now and the server is close knit and friendly. This has been a stable server, highly modded but somehow it doesn't feel that way. The map is beautiful, it is the sort of place where you can find the perfect spot for the ideal deed for your imagination. Mountains, deserts, oceans, rivers, it is all here and very well done. If you are looking for a comfortable server, with the occasional scare (there are random rift monsters on the loose after all), and wonderful potential new friends on a stable, lovingly modded server, this is the one to check out and be sure to give us a shout out in global :).   12. I decided to try this server after watching the video, and I am glad I did! But, it is real quiet and it sure would be fun to have more players trying it out and starting new deeds with me. You get a free horse and the portal system makes getting around a lot less painful when you are new. The admins here are pretty cool, too. Come and play :)...and nope, I am just a player and wanted to tell you it is a brand new island and just waiting for more players. A few neighbors would make it great!
