Man... A lot to be said about Barakus/Oracle and a lot has already been said. I will always remember him first as the number one GM wurm to ever have. His unbiased, honest, honorable, fun loving, caring, nature made him hands down the best GM to bless this game. I couldn't imagine this game would have made it this far without Oracle at the helm for as long as he was. I had great time playing with him, living near him, and even being on the other end of the stick getting in trouble by him despite him being a neighbor. A lot of stories to be had of oracle between all of us. I think the addition of the fog spiders is one the greatest tributes to any person of any game and I imagine he will make another appearance in the game somewhere down the line. Whoever owns the Aegis of Earth, Oracle signature plate set, I hope you have taken it out to dust it off and wear it one time around in memory of him. He was a great guy. Catch you on the otherside sir.

Isn't the challenge code different from the regular code in terms of leveling to begin with? Didn't challenge get it's own set of code? Why do you guys believe that the WU code is an exact mirror to the WO code and that how things work there are exactly how things work here?

Nope, Ive never logged into the Yuri account or Aetherwalker account when he owned them. He never logged into the Ruger account when I owned it. The only account we ever shared was AlexisRose, a shared priest. Now my Steam account, ESO, and other games, yeah he has passwords to that stuff and plays around on those but no we never shared our main wurm accounts and still don't. See you continue to attack but you have nothing. Child, I dont even play on Freedom; epic is far more enjoyable due to having so little amount of drama. See this is the funny thing about reputation Niki and it seems that it has escaped you. While we all have our shady dealings or questionable actions and burnt bridges, it is about the friendships that you built leading into those. The only people that care about the valrei incident are people like you, odynn, nicrolis, doctorangus. The other people who were closely involved during the whole thing, they dont care because they see the truth and still see me. If I was to return to wurm, I'd still be breaking bread with everyone. People would have no problem dealing with me. I have been around this game for 6 years. Hell Rudie is a much bigger theif then me, that man has been blasted by Dadd, people still break bread with him. We don't care. Hell Rudie screwed me over and drug my name through the mud heavily at one point in time, Zalifear did as well, but did that deter anyone from dealing with me? Not at all. There are more veterans playing this game that have had a shady past or questionable actions that still play to this day that are looked at heavily by the community. What little I have screwed up does not outweight the good that I have done. The bugs and exploits I have gotten fixed, the hours i have set in CA, the hours I have spent taking in players and getting them started in this game when players like you would snub there nose at them. When your good out weights your bad, who cares. Only when your bad out weights your good do things become a problem.

You turned around and went on this full attack spree on how I was macro'ing and botting in my PMs and then took it into KChat. I didn't notice it till someone jumped on TS and was like hey ruger, nikki going off in kchat about you. Your economic skills lack heavily, it doesn't take a genious to figure out how to make money in this game. Hell I started with an account and paid sub once with real money. Went to epic and made my first gold when it first opened (thanks proph and wasoo) and Ive made a ridiculous amount of money since without ever spending money into this game again; even when I leave the game and come back people pay my starter sub just to get me back now so I dont put money into the game. lol When you got staff it made things that much worse for you because you let it fill your head up and you thought you were untouchable; we see that worked out well for you. Ruger was sold, you kept attacking him saying it was me and I was lying that it was sold. Because I didnt publicly sell the Ruger account doesnt mean it didnt leave my hands. lol If I was at my computer I would post logs upon logs of your rantings and banterings not even to me but to other players. Ive been trying to get you removed from staff since day uno. We all know that staff is an elite group. If you didn't make the cut early on and your not good at your kissing game, you're not getting staff now no matter how helpful you are. I have reported staff a number of times with more then sufficient evidence of foul play and the answer is always "We will look into it" later down the road they end up with a promotion or you seek follow up and you're told "it was faked" or some other form of them calling you a liar. Staff whether they are volunteers are not, CA included automatically have a shield of power whether they are acting in staff capacity or not. Any person even in real life when given a position of authority the lesser people (the people of non-power) are looking up at that person as there word is gold whether it is false or not. So the staff members either directly or indirectly are abusing their powers consistently. However any person speaking out against the staff is automatically a bad guy, given a warning for challenging moderation, and all the staff buddies or kiss asses jump on the band wagon of "report it to the lead if you dont like it". CA is more times then not trash. Aether has been declined for staff more times then forever because of staff members that don't like him but he is more helpful in CA then CA staff who have been in position for years on end. However due to the current hard on that certain staff members have for him such as the one who approves CA's he is told he can't have that position. One reason being he is told he trolls to much.... Wait somewhere in this thread I am sure I found a post from a staff member that said "we're just players too but volunteer staff with responsibilities"... Oh wait so you can be a troll when your in staff but you cant be a troll when becoming staff? Make's sense. Point is the staff in this game sucks from the bottom.... to the top. Find someone who has played this game and been active in it in more then just "WTS 50ql hammer with 60circle" and you will find even more stories. Find any player on the PvP servers they will have more stories then posts in the skirmishes and random kills thread in the chaos section. No If a RoS is cast at noon on oneside the world does the otherside benefit if they're sleeping like normal people? No So he casted and all those people who were online when it was casted should be happy they got bonus. Those who weren't online when it happened should work on being online when it is casted or cast it themselves. He is playing well within the means of the game and well within the mechanics of the game as they are given to him. He is not exploiting, he is not greifing, he is not harassing, he is playing the game as it is meant to be played. The tears are so sweet in this thread I bet he enjoys it.

The latest NVidia drivers is causing this crash across several different games, clients, etc. some games/clients/etc. run just fine others get this. Solutions that people have come to on it: 1. Disable all shaders and shadows until Nvidia fixes it. (This seems to be the most popular fix. My mom has this issue currently which is why I know about it and she doesn't play Wurm. Disabling shadows/shaders is what has fixed it for her and the other people in her game.) 2. Lower rendering settings (A popular one with the Second Life/Minecraft communities) 3. Rollback a couple driver versions to before it started happening. This is purely a NVidia driver issue, its not your hardware specifically (other then you having NVidia) nor is it a Wurm issue.

Just tried several different ways that are usable for other ip boards and none of them work here. I would say no their is not a way for us to do this. The media option would typically do it but the doesn't seem to work though it is an option for us under special BBCode. I think most of us, I know personally I have, just stick to the tried and true method of update sheet client side, screenshot, upload screenshot, edit the post with new screenshot. Sucks but all we seem to be left with currently.

Ive submitted evidence of a GM supporting macros and talking about it.. I was told it was fake (it was a screenshot with the old wurm ui) Ive submitted evidence of the new art intern leaking pictures of new models to facepunch (I was told it was faked despite their being screenshots even with messages from Wox with it) So going above that person does what exactly when the best answers given is "It will be looked into" or "it is fake" (knowing full well it isn't). If players are allowed to name and shame each other with proof and staff members are allowed to name and shame players with proof, players should be allowed to publicly name and shame staff members just the same with proof. Edit: Only thing that came about me reporting all that stuff really was the facepunch wurm section became more of a private section then a public section and the old threads were purged out.

We're not "friends" but I have enjoyed a good conversation with these two and they are very knowledgeable in the game and great to team with on kills and such. Jollibee - Cool dude who got me started in the bartering business in wurm and middle manning sells for people. Great neighbor on deliverance as well, those initial first days were a blast!
