This. I don’t think any changes should be made to circumvent gathering together with other people to skill up. Too many aspects of Wurm are grossly independent as it is. We need more things that promote gathering together! And since when has 100 faith actually been hard for anyone to achieve?

You seem like a very generous and considerate person. Unfortunately, not every player is of a like mind. Many will take what they can get without a second thought. Belongings scattered on a deed with pickup permissions enabled is just an invitation to take, take, take. What I have seen some players do is plant chests or BSBs offdeed with free resources. Chests of free newbie tools, BSBs of ore or sprouts, to help players in need. Yes, this means they cannot perform actions on your deed, but at least they have some access to the resources. I would advise locking down your deed permissions ASAP, because GMs will likely not rule in your favor if something valuable goes missing. If the permissions are set to allow it, it’s fair game. YES! I love the muzzle idea. Maybe instead of a bridle for a hell horse? @Retrogradeaccidentally killed my hell horse, Phoenix, the other day. I can ride them without taming because I’m a Fo priest, but what good does that do if people can AFK nearby and accidentally counter-attack them to death? If my branded hell horses could be made passive, I would have such a better experience riding them around.

Figured it out, it is intended... I'm trying to use it on a hell horse foal, and if I were to name it now, it would lose its name when it matures to a full grown hell horse. Forgot that hell horses come in foal form now, and it's a "different creature." Wogic. Can close, thanks!

Thanks for that, this all was added while I was on a long break. 😊 Not sure why I’m unable to do it, then. I’m going to try branding today to see if that works, because I realized it isn’t. But if it does, then the examine text with the instructions should be updated. Edit: Yeah no, I branded it and tried renaming while both tamed and untamed. It isn't an option.

So last night I tried to rename a cared for hell horse with a wooden nameplate and wasn’t able to. The option didn’t show up in right-click. I tried when the hell horse was charmed and again untamed. I know I was using the item correctly because I had the option to ‘rename creature’ on a regular horse. Unsure if bug or intended, but I’d like to be able to rename my hellies. Thanks!
