Anyone happen to grab my horse from Cele? It was a jet black named Ochowest, not branded or cared for as I was just visiting Celebration for a couple of days. I wouldn't really care except the horse has supreme gear on it, all casted 95+ woa, and the set was a gift that's special to me. Any information would be super helpful--whoever has it must feel like they won the lottery, but they've made me a sad player indeed. Lesson learned, though, I won't leave my horse unattended even for a couple of hours on servers where I don't have a deed to brand to. Didn't have much of a choice but to log out because of the restarts, but hey. It's a game.

Alkhadias, non-mission champion tortoises aren’t a possibility as tortoises don’t have a natural spawner. The only way to find them is if there is (or has been) a mission to that spawned them on a server.

There’s a mission on Cele for champ tortoises I think!

Hi can I adopt you? You have an awesome attitude for a new player and seem really interested in learning the game. If you would like to move to Pristine, you can live in my village. I’m actually about to become a priest on my main account, too, so we could build a cool chapel and host sermons and do channeling grinds together! I’d even be willing to pay your premium for help around the deed/help building our other deed, you’d get some good skills doing that as well. (Nothing boring or even time consuming, I promise! I wouldn’t have much in the way of expectations at all.) Let me know, I’d be willing to volunteer Archaed to come pick you up from Greymead.

While you can select which of your friends are trusted, there isn’t a mechanic that allows selecting those friends as a permission group. I do absolutely agree that it should be a thing, though! +1

Scrolling in the launcher is all weird currently. Picture from Punishlife, who is having the same issue. Scrolling down makes the text go up, and the words aren’t clear unless you scroll all the way to the top.

That actually is a thing! If you go character > body > manage > friends, you can select which friends are trusted, friend, contact, or other. In your profile settings, you can even give trusted friends permission to loot your corpse if you die. Also in the manage > friends tab, you can leave a note under their name about how you know them, etc. Hope this helps!

This idea is interesting to me. Would there be any benefit for the “Mentor” to link to their mentee? Or would the skill gain boost only be for the lesser skilled player? Would there be other tiers of mentoring, like at 50 skill you can mentor up to 30, at 70 to 50, 90 to 70, etc? Hmm. And also there’s the “Could it be abused?” argument, especially if there IS a benefit for the mentor. Interesting idea, nonetheless. I’m all for anything that promotes playing Wurm WITH other people, seems like everyone plays alone as it is now. We need to focus on community-oriented ideas like this!
