  1. Thank you, Ekcin!! Hmm... If that's the case, then I think Caffeine is not for me ^^ Again, thank you for your explanation and help! 😁❤️
  2. I love it! \o/ Thank you so much!!! And don't mind me... I will be hoping it will one day involve marble planters, marble tables and statues too... So they easier match with the houses ^^ ❤️ Thanks a million for the current ones, though! ^^ ❤️
  3. *waves merrily* Just wanted to say that I am a casual player, stress easily and cannot really grind. I simply try to craft things to gain my skills that way, imp up tools, boats, ovens and forges and things where I feel it is usable for me. There are times when I do try to grind, and I can then take about 5-8 hours to do so (mainly cooking, but did it once for fine carpentry too). Since the whole talk about caffeine has been rather confusing, and a bit intimidating to me, I will simply ask this, to comprehend better (I cannot make high ql stuff - I'd be happy if the coffee/tea/cacao is 15 ql ^^ ): If I use sleep bonus and add caffeine to this, what is the actual difference for me with the current system and the suggested changes one? I can grind one day, but definitely not two. Next day, I might still use SB if I am making some furniture for decorations, or statues or something, just to still help my skill gain a bit from ordinary stuff (provided I have some SB to use, of course). If I have understood this correctly, I will still, in the new system, get skill gain bonus from the SB, just not from the coffee as well? I haven't ever hit the fatigue (though I know people who have, and I am impressed ^^ ), in case that changes anything from how it was to how it might be with the changes. (Regarding meditating: I meditate maybe 1-2 times on a play-day (in the best of cases) and in spite of only being in my 20s, I didn't have a tick for a rather long time. This was before I took a much needed break (I burn out easily). I have no idea how often people get ticks, but I'm not loved by rng . I don't actually think caffeine would have any impact on my meditating, due to RNG and I, so no point in adding any such examples (in case someone was going to.))
  4. +1 (I will remove mine. We worded ourselves differently. For some reason, that made me not see yours, as when I was looking, I got shiploads of irrelevant posts)
  5. Cheers! I didn't know where to put it
  6. My apology, I tried to find one for it, and I got everything else but what I was looking for. Updated myself to be a +1 on your post instead. Hopefully, a moderator can close this. Again, my apology for the trouble. (If any moderator looks at this, please close it - I just didn't see his in all the stuff I got with irrelevant posts, when attempting to see if anyone else had wrritten about the names. We word ourselves differently.)
  7. Hello, lovely and amazing devs, GMs, and all the other lovely and amazing helpers you've got out there! I suggest that a role is added, to allow (if ticked) a citizen to name a branded animal, not only the mayor. I don't want to take the mayor's role from my boyfriend on Mayhemville, nor do I wish to drag him onto Wurm, if he has other plans. And he prefers if I name animals, rather than thinking up names himself. And there are deeds with far more players than we have on ours. May we please have a new citizen role to allow for animal naming? ❤️ That way, a mayor can let those they choose to allow it for, name their own animals. Lots of love, Gilwen
  8. I love you to bits devs and helpers - you're amazing people - but sugar and chocolate has no place in a waybread. It was utilised as you travelled and could last for weeks without going bad. It isn't a cookie, it isn't a cake, and it shouldn't be containing sugar nor chocolate. It never was. It was made out of barley or rye, sour dough (if any at all was added), salt, honey and often contained nuts, dried grapes, dried berries or, if you really want to stretch it, dried pieces of fruit. I've made way bread in real life from old recipes for years - I think they are excellent, when one is journeying. I know have seen people who try to make modern recipes of waybread, but they cannot even be classed as a bread - rather as a sweetbread, cookie or as a cake. But not as a waybread. One cannot live on them for weeks at an end - nor should one try, as it isn't all that healthy. Please, reverse the waybread recipe back to what it was before you changed it. Lots of love, Gilwen
  9. My boyfriend got it to work tonight and he did this: he changed so that the Nvidia graphics card was used instead of the intel and then we used another browser to download the game from. Now it works as smooth as anything \o/
  10. Hi! Got a new laptop, Windows 10, Windows Defender. Installed java (latest version first) and hit the play button on the website. All I get is the Wurm Online symbol and underneath I have the text: "This seems to be your first time playing". Unlickable. Cannot scroll or anything, so went to the activityfield to close it. I tried again, this time trying to launch it as admin. Same thing happening again. Double checked everything, made sure the firewall isn't blocking anything. Thought it might have downloaded wrong, so tossed it and replaced it. Same thing all over again. Changed java versions - first uninstalled the java I had, then we got an older one that we know wurm runs on (8/162). Nope, same thing. So my boyfriend and I tried to "cheat" and simply copied his wurm folder and placed it at the same spot his was at on my laptop. Nope. Same thing again. Deleted it, restarted the computer and made a new try. Same thing still. All I ever see is the logo with that text beneath. He is used to computers and has done everything he can think of to try to help me, but it just refuses. If anyone knows what can be done, I'd be ever so grateful. Best regards, Gilwen
  11. I tried to open the game, but just got "The application could not be opened". I updated java and tried again, still the same response. I'm only using the low-memory client. Any suggestions? I'm a computer idiot, so if it is complicated (beyond double-clicking to launch lol), I'll have someone help me when they can. Thanks in advance /Gilwen
  12. I love that idea!! Thank you! ^^ *hides from Kasumi* Though we might need some calming remedies for some players...
  13. *giggles* I do love your imaginative brain for tasks and prizes!
