I think what Wurm needs is exposure. I never knew this game existed until my friend told me about it, and the way he explained it made me believe it was a 2d top down strategy game where you did stuff... Took me a year to try it and I quickly fell in love with it. If there was more promotion and exposure out there, I am sure more people would play it. Word of mouth alone does not suffice.

Celebration T-13ish. Got a nice spot there with amazing neighbors. You should drop by and visit sometime! I'm building a port with hopefully public services, once I fully figure out the permissions system. I foresee a lot of digging in my future.

Being a new player myself (Arakiel insists I am new even after a month) I find this ridiculous. I have received incredible help and an amazing reception by the people of Wurm. Seeing stories like these kinda make me wonder why. There is nothing quite like getting your ass handed to you by a wolf and having to run crying like a p...y to the nearest guard tower, then licking the red off your healthbar for the next few hours. Day before yesterday I saw my first shark. Wondering if I could take it out, I sailed towards it and whacked it over the head. Being the newbie I am, I did not notice I was at the border of the map, and either that shark or the game mechanics kicked me off the boat. The shark beat me around like a redheaded stepchild as I tried to board my ship to sail away but kept getting knocked off. I managed to board the ship and set course to some random island and immediately zoned, ending up with 3% health. Thankfully Vernex was nearby. Within a minute I was back on the Celebration server and sailing back. He intercepted me and used cotton to bind my wounds. Why do I tell this story, you ask? Because if I had been a thief, a brute, or a Shitler I would had died cold and alone from bleeding wounds. No free 100ql enchanted sword is worth loosing that. Experiences are the reason we play the game. Never sacrifice community for a few silver. Unlike silver, you can't get community back.

Like he said, you don't need him to use them, you can attach them yourself. 35c isn't that much when you are nearly guaranteed success, or given a much higher chance. It's a business, not a community service. What would be the point of leveling his skills if he couldn't profit from them? If he gets no sales he will probably adjust. If he gets sales, then people find it viable.

Hey if you need a building constructed, I need higher quality logs. Depending on how high your woodcutting is, I could drop by and construct some housing in exchange for some logs. Let me know if you are interested. I got over 50 carpentry.

Like around btween T12/T13 in the in game map. South of Celebration. My deed is like the next one up to the west of Southwind Port (I think). I just moved so its pretty barren right now. I took over some old rotted away deed and started getting all set up. All I have been able to find in mines is Tin. Loads of it.

I should get 5 speeders. Never had one so idk what it feels like to ride in style! Maybe I'll drop buy and buy some. Right now I am digging a tunnel by my deed in search of an Iron vein. No luck so far. Tar also seems in short supply, and my lamps already ran out lol. Thinking of heading back to Xana for some, but that shouldn't be a problem. On the upside, there is a huge space I can put a nice farm in so it will pay off.

Well, two reasons: I met someone from Celebration early in my Wurming days who I became friends with. He set me up with a place and I liked the quick water access. We found an old abandoned deed area who was leveled out with an almost finished dock. So I brought a friend from out of game and together we settled down there. I quickly noticed that having easy access to sea in a small server changed things. I can get literally anywhere from Celebration easily, and it's a drop of the bucket from Glasshollow so I feel it's a perfect spot. My old deed was in a lake inland which makes it rather difficult to run a ship making business out of. To be honest I don't expect much in the way of sales. Boats last a long time (forever, really) and very few people really need a boat. My concept is more of a community service where I deliver you a boat I make so you can move around. My passion is the actual building of the boat, but what am I going to do wish so many boats sitting on my deed? If people were wondering, I had no issues with anyone. The guys on NEXA were amazing and always helped me out, and I have nothing bad to say about Aniceset's group. This was more of a decision to move closer to my friends, while at the same time being more accessible. I have yet to meet anyone in Wurm that gives me any grief. I am loving it here. You guys have a very beautiful community. Hope that never changes!

Seems resources in Celebration are more scarce than in Xanadu. It is going to be a challenge for sure, but hopefully it foments cooperation and trade. We'll see how it goes. Having friends is always a plus!

Well hello there and nice to meet you! I am a relatively new player who started a bit more than a month ago and settled in Xanadu. My location was perfect, except for one thing: It was inland. During my early days of Wurming, I met a man by the name of Vernex who set me up with a set of Chain. After my first month of playing, I started to find what it means to be inland, and what does it mean for deliveries. So I decided to move my deed. I am now established in Y-47:X-16 in Celebration as of 1 day ago, west of Southwind Port. If you are in the area, stop by and say hi! I normally play from 11pm - 5am EST (0300 - 0900ish GMT). I am a starting Ship Maker and Carpenter, and can use all the advice you can give. If you're interested in helping a new player, come drop by! All I need is conversation and pointers, and a friend or two to hang out with. Anything I can do to help you, just ask!

Hello! I just moved to Celebration. I have been playing for a bit over a month now, so I am not new. I also have an enchanted huge axe Arakiel gave me so I am set on that department. However I just brought a new friend to play with me. He is about a day old and is a bit clueless and lost. If you would like, he could use a weapon himself. I don't know what to ask for, since he is just starting, but anything better than the starting sword would be great. If you are so kind, send it to "Stickher".
