I think the event just begins at the different starter towns. It will be a month long event. So, not 100% positive, but pretty darn sure the answer is no.

Can someone who actually PVPs explain to me how this would hurt PVP? Just have it not work with enemies in local or something. I view this as a way to go have a fun random adventure, not a way to raid easier...

I kind of disregarded all the suggestions from 08-09 because ya know, almost 10 years old. The tree thing and whatever. I just wanted a bump for the OP. Pitons for mountain climbing. Considering it's a completely random teleport and could literally take you days to luck out and end up where you want to go, kinda think your point is moot. Also considering successful PVP is somewhat Horse dependent (especially in plate) think that kinda moots the point for Wurm anyways.

Hey, I'm not against stam food. Just think rock climbing would be wicked. Iron Lump + Small Anvil = Whatever the spike thing is called, will edit this later. Activate hammer with spike in inventory. Right-click tile of a certain slope and "Hammer spike" Activate rope and right-click tile with spike then "Attach rope" Already covered the movement possibilities. EDIT: Copy of my original bump's suggestion because I know many people will skip the first page. To add on the original suggestion, being as ropes don't actually have length, perhaps it could be one rope per 1-3 tiles and either use stam or act kind of like a ladder. You climb up one and hang onto the rope, if you activate climb at that point you can move off the rope, if you don't activate climb and move off you fall. Link multiple ropes together and climb all the way up and down.
