  1. I like the sound of salvaging bricks.Though, I wish you could salvage at least a brick or two out of 90+ decay fences on undeeded land. It's on it's way out anyway and some people build fences like crazy. Even one or two bricks out of a tile section of abandoned fence could result in a decent amount of reusable bricks on some deeds.
  2. I like the idea of either a spell or a fuel extending how long the lamps are lit, but I can see where a crafted solution could probably be more accessible. Maybe it will make a new market for useful fuel materials.
  3. I like the idea of shooing animals but would prefer if it didn't require an item or skill. I would just need the ability to get them off a single tile more than need to lead them around. We already have taming and ropes.
  4. Considering this is a game rather than a scientific, real world mimicking simulation, I'd vote in favor of convenience. Realism is nice in games until it starts to feel like a chore you pay for.
  5. I think most people just don't care what the chickens do.
  6. That would be nice way to deal with the useless rooster problem.
  7. I've heard that the limit was put in place to control chicken populations since wild chickens lay eggs too. This sounds like a good idea, especially the fresh egg idea. I wonder if it would help if only domesticated chickens could lay eggs. Maybe branding could be required to get fresh eggs and all other eggs are regular unhatchable eggs. I would really like to be able to put them in FSB as well.
  8. This idea is specifically meant to avoid filling all containers all the time when they are out of doors. It should only fill certain containers under certain circumstances. Also, it's meant to be useful for more than new players. The idea is to provide an alternative water source and take advantage of a logical place to gather water.
  9. +1 from me as well. It would make sense for tree sprouts for sure.
  10. Hello, I'd like to suggest a rainwater collection system. If possible, have a platform item that can hold buckets, barrels, and or amphorae. When the item is "loaded" with suitable containers, it will run periodic checks to see if it is outside of buildings and if it is raining. If it is raining, the containers will gradually fill with water in the same manner as wells. If it is not raining the containers just sit there. When there are no containers, it will not perform weather/outdoors checks at all. With full containers it will stop performing checks. Collecting rainwater would be fantastic, but I suspect that having all containers performing constant weather checks could really bog down the servers. So, I propose an item that will create a specific case for performing that kind of a check which can also be "turned off". If there are no containers or full containers, there will be no weather check. An alternative to the platform idea would be attaching containers to preexisting items such as a cart or wagon.
  11. I like this idea as well. I think it would be useful for inns and travelers.
