  1. After the new critter roam system has been put in deeds seem to be completely safe without the need of putting up walls any more. Yes you can lead aggro monsters onto your deed but other then that, nothing will ever come onto it "threatening" your home. I think instead of totally avoiding deed tiles, should have a lower chance to roam onto deed tiles but not avoid altogether.

  3. So? A 85 x 41 deed with 3485 tiles can have 232 animals then? With that then most I make new pens thats 15tiles in size(5x3) or are my old 2x3 pens still fine just cant go over the "magic number" of 232?
  4. well..... If theres unintended mechanic why was it even placed in the game? Sure things get over looked but really, If its game breaking it should have been rather easy to notice that it was there. Theres patches without patch notes and things change, How the hell should we know if what was changed is or not intended then? Sorry but its pretty much just tells you if something changes, Dont touch it or we'll ban you if the GM you get feels like it. 30%+ of wurms bugged shouldnt we all be banned then?
  5. Doesnt look like 10 tiles to me, seems like it was the whole deed that was sand seeing as on all 4 sides of you is sand. Newbs will be newbs Rolf also needs to crack down on the rules and make sure everyone on the staff if following the same hand book, Seeing rules differ from GM to GM is rather sad, kind of makes you wonder why bother playing here if the staff flakes off taking the rules into their liking.

  7. Well darthboer, Let me tell you a few things soldier to soldier. I understand that you only dealt with basic training but that is still a lot of emotional stress hard for anyone to really with stand, and then as you said you had a dream of building a life around it with her. I am some what in the same boat, Deployed to Baghdad,Iraq with the Military Police unit going all over the country inspecting all of their prisons. Well One of the missions went down hill and myself and others got hurt. To return home to have a messed up back to where I cant really even hold a civilian job. And the after effects of what I saw. At first I thought everything was over for myself and wouldnt be able to really do anything for myself as in housing/shopping/ect Took me a while to go to the VA and talk with someone. Might be what you need to do, talk with a VA rep and see what they can do to help you out. As in mental health and well being. May seem silly at first but after a while you'll start to see that its really starting to help you out
  8. -1 it takes just as long to check your email as it does to log in the deed holder and check the token... I hold 3deeds and always keep a few months worth in the coffer. Maybe allow alliance members to see coffer info. So we dont have to worry about server lags due to sending 10+ emails a day per server
  9. If added should either take a number of gems seeing as players have thousands they are trying to sell due to getting gems from praying now..
  10. Could just re-use the Bag of Holding coding and set it to allow writs only with the ? icon no model needed. And seed it on traders for x amount of coin
  11. Then the normal max speed would need to be decreased as you can go 17km/h if naked So I do agree that there should be a skill that effects movement speed though. Just not sure how it'll be worked in without major changes as you know everyone will end up with such skill at 1. And most likely move slow as dirt and flood the forums
  12. How about adding Writ booklets? I have 51writs on my character and increasing... What will happen if I get over 100 of them total Any ways? Would hate to see that they just right out vanish due to item count limit....
  13. -1 sorry man, but everyone should be able to match their surroundings to the maps, hills/mountains/coasts and such. The servers do not have areas that match one another
  14. For starters Im a crafter/industrial player on games. So yea... this wasnt thought up from a PvP point of view. That is why you have this thing called, Selling goods. Players can ring things from the PvP area into the PvE area and sell it. Theres a lot of players that buy the metals they need instead of mine it themselves. And seeing as this is based on Eve online. Theres 300,000+ paid accounts vers the 3,000 paid accounts here. So sure, A handfull will get upset, leave. And come back while the player count increased 10times what it is now. Giving everything to PvE players is what makes games boring and only have a low player count. Total players 956/7200 Where as Eve online has 40,202 players online right now. And between 60k-70k on the weekends, while wurm hits 1,200 players. To me seems this system works.
  15. Guess you havnt played to many games out there other then PvE servers. This system balances risk vs reward. Higher the risk, greater the reward. This isnt a carebear hello kitty island setup. There are items already ingame that players can use to get 99ql veins, How would you be limited? Bo ho, you have to spend a week ingame selling things to make the coin to buy it. These ideas that "games most hold your hand" nonsense really has to come to an end. And I did say a few trolls and hell critters roaming around. A few for the size of the land mass would be greater then 300.
