  1. I think instead of threatening merchants since that would kill the use of having a one setup at a market as people could just threaten it instead of buying the items from it. Why not just place a 1c charge to put an item in the merchants along with taking items out of it.
  2. Maybe add them to a list of those that dont get SB for the next few SB handouts and see how they feel about it then. Sure it'll change their mind set really fast.
  3. yea pvp servers are next to dead with little to no real pvp anyways only offline deed looting. Wheres the pvp in that? Epics just chicken picking if you ask me.
  4. How about 3e for every skill level. So if they have 100 skill points thats 300e paid to wurm character with a load of 90skills well thats a new staff member's pay check

  6. knarrs are ment to have a crew not solo sailer speed god And larger ships tends to move slower then small ships less weight and resists against the water
  7. -1 sorry but there's tones of space to claim, I can go on every server and find coastal space to drop a few 40x40 deeds, just need to leave the starting area man..... And its not that hard to live in the wilderness as a new player, just need to pay attention to whats around you. I let my deed tax drop under 30days from time to time due to not checking it from being busy ingame and it would really suck to have an increased decay rate because of lazy settlers.
  8. -1 I see what your saying but I think its fine as is ADDED: Maybe at 50ql and 100ql one minute needed per minute of SB gained is removed, so at 50ql it takes 5minutes to gain one minute and at 100ql 4minutes to gain one minute of SB and anything below 50ql does the normal 6minutes for one minute SB Other then that I really couldnt see a way to keep players from getting 2-3 hours a day with a high QL bed

    Above 70 2weeks give or take 80 maybe 4 month since grinding HFC wasnt on my to worry about list

    I had a bed within 5days but there for I ran a wolf to a tower that was 150 tiles away and i read the wiki instead of run around without a clue

    Good input guys, I'll look over everything you guys have suggested and see if there I cant come up with a little more balance. I just figured since longer timers give more skill then shorter timers there wouldnt be a need for an EXP penalty. Feel free to keep adding on and ill edit my post when I get something. ADDED: What about just changing the chance to EXP lose, that way its a double hit against gains since timers effect it as well. So: 40% timer decrease with 15% skill gain decreased

    After see a lot of posts about how things take so long to do with timers over and over. Well, while using the lovely dirt leveling system I thought, Why not see what everyone thinks about a "Rush" function. Works like this, Action times dropped by x% while dropping your chance of successfully preforming the action decreases by X% and your thirst increases 2 times faster. So lets say 40% timer decrease with 15% chance decrease. Works under the same system as sleep bonus, sleep in a bed to recover 5hours of rush, Rush and Sleep bonus can not be used at the same time. To avoid use of a new "fast skill grinder" function. And every hour of rush used uses 30minutes of your characters fatigue on top of the normal system. So if you use 5 hours of rush you'll use 2.5 hours of fatigue on top of the hours used from performing actions. I know its a long shot but thought maybe could be something players of wurm could agree on. May need some tweeking and testing to figure what % would work best with such a function and not be "abuse able" Thoughts? Changes? +/-1?

  17. -1 Wurms already rather easy, Only takes 40-50 hours of action time to get a skill to level 70.... If anything wurm needs more challenge or difficulty added

  19. Well, seeing as for some time after freedom was opened they did in fact have epic critters. But due to a large number of players that didnt want to level FS complained about them. And freedom is keeping wurm alive, we have what? 7times the player count?

  21. Im sure once the new "action" combat comes into play most of the players on epic now will leave anyways once those that enjoy real combat move over. Let the simple minded children be, As everyone knows Freedom is what keeping wurm a float, not epic.
  22. +1 for everything but #3, shouldnt be given anything but have a list of tasks to help them on the right path would be a good idea. Like find clay, rummage and prospect rock tiles to find iron. and so fourth, like a survival check list if you will
