  2. 80ql whisky only getting me to 40% power when i drank half of the bottle. was a bit shocked tbh
  3. my self and several other players have noticed that imbibing any liquid from a glass bottle from a treasure hunt will cause some funky effects. for instance: full ccfp bars after we finish drinking odd alchohol power i dont know if putting a different liquid in one of the jars will cause the same effect, or if it is just the way things are generated by the server.
  4. looking at the ReShade site the first thing that came to my mind was this: there are a lot of options for the game(ya mine are off) that are already there. as for the things it has that the client doesn't yet: I'm not sure we can, need a staff member who knows to chime in.
  5. im actually going to respond here and point this out to you all, being as you keep missing the point this game is so complex that YOUR interaction with it is unique to you We totally understand that you dont want anything but the game client running, i have limited resources on my PC, and running extra stuff besides the client chews them up. there are some things like Wurm Assistant i would love see integrated into the client, and Deed planner so i can export properly, and proper map software(with GPS ), but then when you add all that stuff it detracts from other things as well, however and not everyone needs all these tools either. No one should be forced into any one way.

  7. i was under the impression that a skill in archeology equal to the ql of the map would be used tbh. if this is true then ya, the difficulty on that needs adjusted. My bad.
  8. more for me(us) then I understand that you may have life outside of the game, so you may not have the time or energy to put in to exploring like this, but man, this totally works for someone like me. im stoked here

Wanted to point something out about age: physical age matters only for physical reality, and when it comes to anyone you meet online, well i dont know anyone who could be a child mentally(i never really was), however emotionally i can tell you that we do exist. 'Growing up' in this area is a matter of experience. most people have that happen in grade/middle/high school. for someone in my position, for me to grow in this area i have to 'listen' with my gift and learn about other people. There is one problem most of the time here: there are people out there that get a bit jealous when i learn this way. it takes me time to translate it into a language that others understand, and when i cant immediately share with them what i learned, they blast me. very few are aware of this happening - the real trolls and bullies - even if they like to push the 'emotions' so hard as to make you think its the entirety of the universe backing them.
  11. um, you know, if there are top tier items in the higher difficulty searches, and they end up being CROSS server, i wonder how that would effect things.....
  12. if not what about this: will clues cross servers? should they(if so i think difficultchallenging or better)? would be interesting to see if it implements. and some of them higher difficulty maps might go for lots of silvers on the market if the items are good enough

  14. oh to be sure, however i would much rather earn the stuff, even if that means going out and exploring. its less energy used then sitting in one spot on the server for me. but then you also say this: when i hear that i hear 'why are you not trying hard enough? do you not know how to play the game?' and it kinda discourages. I know its not your intention to have it mean that way - its not like you would understand that, due to the severity of some of my crossed senses, some tasks i do i use 2.3x more energy then someone who is moderately fit and without any major disabilities

  16. the only problem here is that not everyone shares the same idea of what treasure is. For some just your basic common items is treasure enough.
  17. you missed the bit just before that: it sounds like its temporary till it goes live, and the actual rewards will be better, but not things we are told about.
  18. why not have the show hint option show it, then hide it? like a toggle, so that way you can choose how many you want up(ML dependent of course)
  19. Agreed, any and all of the ones that were just text telling me to find a location was just too hard - i dont know oracle that well, and it felt like some would require a decade of living on the server to know where to look.
  20. thought this might be what they would look like to start with as well, however color is kinda nice imho. makes it more of a challenge to find the locations. Keep in mind not every map is the same size, nor the same scale, and i think that is intentional as well. I do see it as fine as we are able to use the map hint in combination with the map dump for most cases, although some of these hints could be a bit less nebulous out of curiosoity what is determining the ql of the caskets/maps? RNG or something else? Nm, figured it out
  21. how likely is it that people will have multiple treasure maps going on at the same time? If its likely that more than one or two will be active, then i think we should see about a container to hold them in, like a treasure seekers notebook or whatever you want to call it.
  22. SmeJack, its a pattern matching thing. thats why its not helping you, you are not seeing where the pattern matches up. its hit or miss for me sometimes. Feels
  23. the more maps i see in game the more i realize you have to REALLY know the server you are on in order to find anything. all the landmarks and what not that we see and not think of in game. i think the difficulty curve will go down on live when we are on home turf.
