  1. Only 25% of the people said that they like the gods the way they are. 75% want change. In my opinion, that's a vast majority.
  2. It appears the majority of the playerbase is upset. I feel strange with people supporting my suggestions, because in the past I have had a history of putting forth ideas like this, and being spammed -1. What happened that changed people so they are willing to listen to me? Is it because I changed my name? Perhaps I'll never know.
  3. Yes, I was a Magranon priest on my MAIN before these stupid additions. I stopped playing the game after the new gods were added.
  4. Please for the love of Permo, remove the player gods. They ruin the game in my opinion. Seeing WL using BL spells just sickens me. Another alternative would be to give the player gods NEW and unique spells. I would actually prefer this over removing them.
  5. I have learned a new technique, in order to make better tillable grass. It looks a bit too tropical, but its closer to what I'm aiming for. http://ramaraunt.deviantart.com/art/Grass-B-598846501?ga_submit_new=10%253A1458928079
  6. Wurm has had a good run. Its a great game, one of the first of its kind. But, it has been failing recently. Many have noticed the decrease in playercount, and seeing PVP legends like Red leave from Chaos is no joke. Times are changing, and its not for the better, for Wurm at least. There is one thing that is very wrong with Wurm. You could say its the pay-to-win economy, or you could say that its the lack of a good combat system. Really though, the real problem with Wurm is, the game is outdated. Most modern gamers turn away from Wurm not because of it being a bad game, but because it is a game for a different time. I think the solution is very simple. Make Wurm 2.0. Make it in a modern engine, and remake the entire game from the ground up. Do something big and amazing. Code Club already has all the assets they need, so asset development can be put on hold while they focus on making a new world. I have talked to many friends of mine, who used to play Wurm but quit, and they all agree: Wurm needs to be remade. So, for the "Next big thing," I don't recommend a feature like bridges, or a new cooking system. I recommend an entirely new game, built from the concept of the old one.
  7. I've been teaching myself how to make painted textures in blender. Some of them have been rather nice, while others need some work in my opinion. I might eventually make a Wurm texture pack. If anyone knows how to do this and wants to help, please send me a forum PM. Some examples:
  8. Well, Peasant, the same guy developing this game, made a Persistent World server and asked me to be an admin. I got very fed up with the way things were being run, and made a post on the Taleworlds forum about it. https://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,348597.0.html Please, steer clear of this guy.
  9. Hello Wurmians! A friend of mine from the Mount and Blade:Warband modding community is having a go at making his own game. Thought you might be interested: http://www.witchcorestudios.com/viewtopic/6/2/2/feudal_uprising_official_announcement_game_description.html

  11. I've recently started work on a new map for Persistent World. In the map, I'm attempting to recreate Jerusalem. More Pictures:http://imgur.com/a/gw3zu
  12. It is the year 1055, 5 years after the great Lómaner Rebellion that caused the empires of Jenn-Kellon and Mol-Rehan to start to crumble. Inspired by Lómaner's victory, many of the other kingdoms imperialized by Jenn-Kellon and Mol-Rehan have begun rebellions of their own. The smaller kingdoms are at war with their masters, and the masters are losing ground. The age of the two empires seems to be nearing an end. The Green Knights of Jenn are currently battling rebel forces in their Kingdom of Kipling, while Mol-Rehan continues their relentless assault into Jennish lands from the West. Meanwhile, the Hordesmen from Desolation continue to colonize the northern coast of Heim, performing raids into the heartlands of their enemies' territory. With all of this war in the lands, there is much death and chaos, and there are many that wish to be free from the hatred. It has been several centuries since the wise men discovered the portal to Freedom, and has been a single century since the Epic challenges of the gods have began. However, fewer and fewer people arrive at the isle of Golden Valley every year, to make way to these new lands, because the Keepers of the Isle are being especially stingy about applicants. The New World of Wurm is inviting, but it is not enough to hold all the souls who want to go there. Feeling sorry for these people, the Jenn-Kellon wise man Aaron began searching for new answers. He knew there were more lands in the World of Wurm, but they are all out of reach, separated from the continent of Heim by the vast circle seas. The gods have fortold of such lands. Clean lands, unkempt by man's trowel, unsoiled with blood from war. He searched and searched, and he meditated to try to find an answer. He prayed to the gods: Vynora, Fo, Magranon -- even Libila -- and asked them to guide him towards the answer. In reply, he recieved nothing. But after years of searching, and being laughed at by his fellow wisemen and wisewoman, he made a breakthrough. Explorers in the oceans southwest of the Jennish empire, and southeast of Mol-Rehan's holdings, found an island with great bounties of resources. Much like Golden Valley, he heard of a strange stone in the center of the island. Excited, Aaron traversed to this island, the other wisemen assuming its a tall-tale of its existance. At the island, he finds the stone, and finds it to be a stone of wonder. It was a portal, but a different kind than the one found at Golden Valley. This stone was a marvel of the technology of the long forgotten race that created them. It didn't just connect to one lonely cluster of islands out in the circle sea. This portal connected to places farther, and nearer, and in between.
  13. Barrel I made: http://ramaraunt.deviantart.com/art/PaintedBarrel-593187720
  14. The economy is Pay-To-Win by nature. The whole ability to buy coins and sell characters just makes this game undesirable imo.
  15. I'm messing around with shading textures to give the appearance of depth. Tell me what you think. EDIT: Selling the chest on turbosquid now. Also, I've started on a wardrobe. This new hobby is fun
  16. My steam is Ramaraunt. HMU. Something in the works... Using my new skills of texture painting and modeling.
  17. fite me bro At one point, I was leading a faction with 40 players in it. And its not cause of my good looks.
  18. I've started using blender to paint some seamless textures. Free to use if you want them! http://ramaraunt.deviantart.com/
  19. The game is java, which can be converted into a browser based format (think runescape). Bonus idea: when the game is played in browser, the banner shows ads. This allows you to play premium ABSOLUTELY FREE!
  20. Ever wanted a roman era gladius? Ever wanted a long-sword that looks like an Iberian falchion? Well, now you can (if this gets added)! Basically, you buy the blueprint at a trader, then you can use it to craft a version of an item with a special model one time. So you can make stuff like this: Best of all, since rolf and co will be getting more money, the cost of prem can go down! and the playercount will increase! win win!
  21. Hello Wurmians! I haven't played this game in a while. Perhaps a few of you remember me and what I did in this game. Anyways, this is what I have been doing as of late. 1. Playing Persistent World mod for Mount and Blade:Warband Its my favorite game by far. If you ever played Warband, you know that the combat system is superb. In PW mod, they used the amazingness already present in the game, and made it even better. Basically, there are up to 9 castles in a map, and you join one and fight the others. Or you can be a serf, and farm for money, or be a smith and make weapons for some lord. If you don't want to be a productive member of society, you can also play as an outlaw and rob everyone you can of all their coin. Over time, I learned how to make maps for PW mod (made some cool video tutorials here. You can even hear my actual voice. This might be a big deal to some of the people I played with in wurm online, since I never used coms) and I even attempted to start my own server, but it ultimately failed because competing servers took more of the population. However, I continue to help people in that community to this day with map making, etc. If you want to learn how to make maps in this mod, please ask me and I'll be glad to teach ya! 2. Studying to become a game developer I have always loved videogames, especially Wurm Online. Heck, when I was younger I had a hard time getting along with other kids, and Wurm online was my escape from it all. I was one of the very few 12yos who had the patience to play this game. I've decided, my career is going to be developing video games. What games, I have no idea yet. I'm still taking classes to learn how to code, and I'm loving it so far. 3. Modeling with Blender and Inkscape Four days ago, I discovered Blender. Ever since, I have been honing my skills and working hard at making some pretty awesome models. Here are some screenshots of my creations. Note that my goal was to make them low-poly, so don't expect the best models of all time. http://imgur.com/a/oNxkD
