  1. Meh, honestly I could give a crap about res stones. I;d rather they weren't in the game in the first place.
  2. Maybe free-2-play is the whole game for free, but with ads? Thats an awesome idea!
  3. Yeah I have to +1 this. Especially on Freedom where bashing down the said mine doors is not a nice thing to do, and sometimes no even an option.
  4. No, I didn't make this thread to troll. I think outside the box, and I'm known for being vocal about it. It is this type of ideology that I believe Wurm needs right now.
  5. Giants are giant. Why can't they just walk over the tiny fence lol? I never understood that in Wurm.
  6. Why the jackal shouldn't I? This is a suggestion forum.
  7. You might have looked at the title of this thread and thought this was a troll thread. Actually, its not. There is a big problem with Wurm Online right now, and that problem is Wurm Unlimited. Why pay a monthly fee when you can just pay once and get it over with? I sure as hell wont, which is why I stopped playing the game. Sure, Wurm Unlimited only has private servers, which could close down any day and you lose all your hard work. But still, most new players to Wurm don't consider Wurm Online anymore, simply because it costs a lot more. I talked to a few of them, and the only ones who played Wurm Online were the ones who wanted to play Wurm for free. Everyone who could pay for Wurm went for Wurm Unlimited, because of how it is cheaper over time. I recommend a change to Wurm Online, so that you only have to pay once. That's right, you pay once, and you get to play forever for free after that. I can already hear the doubters of this idea asking the question "But how will Code Club make any money?" Well, my idea doesn't stop at just the one time payment thing. I think that Code Club should also invest into other avenues to make money off of their game. For ideas on how to do this, one doesn't have to look far. Look at TF2 for example. Its possible to play TF2 entirely for free, no features kept for pay-to-players only. But yet, TF2 made Valve $139 million last year. How did they do this? The answer is quite simple: hats. Lots and lots of fancy hats. And lots of fancy guns that do the same thing as the free guns, but just look plain cooler. They have skins, flame color changers for flame throwers, crazy emmotes, and even an alien pistol straight out of the Fallout universe. All they had to do was offer this stuff, and players flocked to grab them, even though they didn't offer any benefits other than looking badass. So, I recommend cosmetic items for Wurm Online sold from the shop, that have no benefits over the default items. Since the game would be free after the first payment, there will be a lot more players joining the game. The population of Wurm Online will soar, I guarantee it. Just think about it. Then, with this large population in the game, Code Club has created a large group of customers eager to buy cosmetics. It wont take long for profits to rise as well. -Arowhun
  8. Here are my ideas: Nahjo: God of Lightning and Thunder Nahjo is a god of Power, much like Magranon before him. His abilities range from thunderous waves that damage foes, to speed bonuses. Spell List of Nahjo Bless: Standard bless spell. Sixth Sense: Same spell as Magranons Vessel: Standard vessel spell Break Altar: Standard exorcism spell Thunderstruck: A weapon enchantment that causes a weapon to do thunder damage. Storm Surge: A ritual spell that requires 5 priests of nahjo to be cast, and only can be used once a month. Increases the walking speed of followers of Nahjo temporarily. Chain Lightning: A spell that when cast, fires a bolt of lightning that bounces between up to 3 foes. Skybolt: An AOE spell, much like fire pillar, where Nahjo strikes the ground with a bolt of lightning from the heavens. Doesn't work underground or in buildings. Has an increased range when over water (you can cast it by right clicking a boat). Burst of Energy: A spell that when cast on a creature or person, increases their movement speed for up to 30 seconds. Nahjo's Sheild: An armor enchantment that protects wearers from demise spells. Demise Spells: One for each of the other gods excluding Magranon. Future WL god spell list ideas: Have a god of holy light that is a healing god like Fo, but has spells to deal with the undead instead of spells for nature. Basically a Paladin god. Have a god of defense over offense, with defensive spells for a tank priest. Have a god of something silly, like cabbages. Now its time for some of my favorite ideas: The BL gods. First off, Libila needs some nerfs. She is not the only BL god anymore, so she doesn't need to be uber op, and have the extreme list of spells that she has currently. Tolsiek:The God of Blood Tolsiek is the God of Blood. Priests of Tolsiek are known as "Shamans", and have abilities meant to help allies in battle. Unlike followers of Libila, followers of Tolsiek don't receive bonuses for mycellium. Spell List of Tolsiek Bless: Standard bless spell. Vessel: Standard vessel spell Aura of Painful Skill: A tool enchantment, that slowly damages players who use the tool, but also give a increased skillgain that is slightly higher than COC. Break Altar: Standard exorcism spell Bleeding Aura: A weapon enchantment that causes a weapon to do bleeding damage. Sacrificial Wave: A spell where a priest of Tolsiek heals an ally, at the expense of 25% of the damage healed dealt to the priest. Ritual of Sacrifice: A ritual where 3 priests of Tolsiek sacrifice another player with at least 50 fs in order to give all followers of tolsiek a small combat rating increase for a short period of time. Skin Rip: A spell that creates bleeding wounds on opponents. Shower of Blood: An AOE spell that causes bleeding wounds on opponents. Sacrifice: A spell where a priest of Tolsiek sacrifices himself to do extreme damage to everyone in the vicinity (including allies). Martial Trance: A spell where the person casted upon goes into a "Martial Trance", and gains combat rating because of this. Tolsiek's Sheild: An armor enchantment that protects wearers from demise spells. Demise Spells: One for each of the other gods Nathan: The God of Vamparism Priests of Nathan become vampires, and need to feast on blood in order to survive. They cannot eat normal food. Followers of priests of Nathan recieve temporary action speed buffs from giving blood to priests. Since vampires are undead, priests of Nathan are weak against anti-undead spells.
  9. Gnomes are a rare item, no gnomes pls EDIT: but plus 1 to this suggestion.
  10. How about this: Deeds can choose to opt out of being shown on the map Boom. +1 btw.
  11. Yeah your right about the thread... lock pls
  12. Yeah. Well, some spells can repeat, but the idea is that they have mostly unique spells. This is a thread for making ideas for what those spells could be.
  13. When I say "New spells", I don't mean spells on top of what they already have. I mean delete those, and replace them with unique spells.
  14. Moving my ideas to a different post, so people understand this thread is not about talking about mine, but making your own. Wind of Ages: Remove this spell from Vynora, and give it to Nahjo. Decreases timers when cast on tools and increases weapon speed in combat. Spell list: I'm done, got work to do... but you get the idea of some of the awesome things that we could do with the new gods Post your spell lists bellow. The more the merrier! -Arowhun
  15. Alright. Post your own ideas then pls. What new powers could be added? What powers should be removed from the older gods to balance things?
  16. Hello! Recently I made a thread about getting rid of the new gods, or giving them unique spells. This is the thread for posting those ideas for new spells, if thats what you want to see!
  17. Whenever I use the android browser, everything on the screen randomly disappears and all that is left is the forum background. For mobile firefox, quoting a post instantly crashes it.
  18. True alex, but its not nearly enough in my opinion. I'd like to see actual winerys with brand names be a thing, and the wine and other beverages actually be something people will need on a day to day basis.
  19. What if there was something done about the stupid swapping while in combat? I agree with you on this, but there are other ways to get around this as well.
  20. I want to see actual winery brands appear in Wurm. Change beverages like wine and beer so that they a requirement if you want max nutrition, and make it so that plain water is not the best option anymore. Then, add glassmaking skill for making bottles for these new beverages, and make it possible to make labels for them with papyrus. This way, we could actually see brands of wine and beer starting to appear in Wurm. Could see custom brands like like "Deliverance Stout", "Independance Ale", or "Posteh Whiskey Year 1045"
  21. Markus Pearson, AKA Notch, was once one of the main developers of Wurm. He and Rolf got into a fight about the direction the game should go, and Notch ended up leaving. Notch eventually created his own company, and developed a game called Minecraft, which I'm sure you heard of. He recently sold his game to Microsoft for $2 billion, and sense then has not been doing much in the gaming world. I'm asking for Notch to come back, lend Wurm a hand. I know even if he didn't give money and just gave time to help develop the game, wonders would happen. When it comes to game development, Notch is a super-genius.
  22. Markus left Wurm development, and now he is a multi-billionaire. A million wouldn't hurt, aye? #MakeWurmGreatAgain
  23. Its like Runescape recently added ways to make a bazzillion gold in a few seconds through Treasure Hunter. Sure its great and all... but I miss the times when money was actually hard to get.
  24. A unique spell that creates a golem. First you have to construct the golem out of materials, which are different for each god. Then you have to cast on it to "bring it to life". For magranon, the golem you create is a Lava Fiend. A spell to become invisible for a few seconds. A spell to hide oneself and allies around you from the local window for a short period of time. A spell to create a cloud of dust that makes it impossible to see for a short period of time. A spell that causes you to move forward quickly a by a few tiles. And another thing, which isn't really a spell: Robes that priests can wear to increase the effectiveness of spells that they cast.
  25. Whats with all of these sudden changes to the game to make it easier? Meh -1
